The hygienist was very gentle and nice, and she was one of the best I've had in awhile. The Doctor was very caring and answered all my questions. Thank you to the whole team very friendly staff.

The staff was amazing. They really made us feel comfortable and my 6 year old felt very secure as this was his first time getting his teeth cleaned and filled. They were very kind and gentle. They explained everything in detail and made sure we understood what was being told. Thank you for the great dental experience and we will definitely come back. P.S. Dr P is hilarious.

so they closed their location on broad street without telling me. the phone number on the door doesn't get answered and a mail man told me they had been closed for over a month. I always came in because Dr motts was great but now he's gone so this was the final straw I'm done with Sampson. time to find a new dentist

Good group of ladies and dentist at the Gahanna location. They got me right in with a sensitivity issue and fixed me up.

So I had an appointment and had zero assistance and the location was changed. Then I left a negative review and got called and lectured by this office and I find this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL so I got tired of being spoken to like a child and just hung up.

I love how this location is so UNPROFESSIONAL they call you about a negative review and then don't address the fact that they were RUDE when they call you for a negative review to try and get you to change it. I also love the fact my appointment was changed from when I scheduled it originally. Also the nasty treatment on the phone is not how a disabled individual should be treated... well any person. Get a better attitude and stop posting a lie on your website you DO NOT have a 5 star review.

Absolutely horrible. Six months later we've ended up having to have two of the teeth pulled due to abscesses. Lied to us and insurance.

This review is simply based on the poor customer service from a woman who called me from the dental office this morning to discuss my out of pocket payment plan. The rest of my experience with this dental office was pleasant. She called to let me know that the woman whom I'd arranged my payment plan with was no longer employed there and she needed to understand the agreement that was arranged. So I began to tell her. She cut me off. She interjected and she told me, no, that wasn't correct. So I tried again to explain... and once again she said no, changed what I was saying and proceeded to tell me it wasn't right. I tried a 3rd time to tell her and when she interrupted me this time, I was done. I told her I wouldn't be coming back and I hung up. I get it if the original plan was incorrectly arranged but she refused to allow me to explain it. I would have been fine with making new arrangements but she wasn't interested in being helpful, allowing me to explain and explaining that it was incorrectly set up. She was more interested in correcting my interpretation by telling me it was wrong, talking over me and telling me that the arrangements I made with the other lady wasn't what I was told. They just lost over $5k simply because of her.

During my appointment I had to do more than a routine clean. Dr.Motts and staff made my visit stress free, painless and was the best experience I have had with a dentist. I highly recommend them, they explained the process and answered all of my questions. Thank y'all!

The entire staff at Gahanna was super friendly from the receptionist to the dental hygienist and Dr. Motts. I went in for a routine cleaning in between meetings I had for school that day, and they were efficient and quick to fit my appointment in the time I needed. The staff clearly works together well which is always really important, and Dr. Motts is really nice as well as does a thorough job. He explained everything very clearly. Overall, it was a great experience! Will definitely continue to go here.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I was shocked with how terribly run this office is. My first visit was for a cleaning and a filling on a cavity. X-rays were done and that's it. I didn't receive a cleaning and my cavity was not addressed. I tried to be understanding as it was the end of the day and I had a later appointment, but I was disappointed because I needed a cleaning and my tooth was bothering me. They scheduled me for a follow up to do a cleaning and fill 4 cavities that were found on my x-rays. I took PTO from work in order to leave early and arrive at my appointment on time. I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes before I was called back. I get to the chair and sit and wait for another 20 minutes before anything begins. Dr. Wheeler finally comes and begins administering the numb shots. After shooting me up, I sit for another 15-20 minutes. A tech comes in and begins scraping my teeth for the cleaning. He's about halfway finished with scraping when the dentist comes in and tells him she's got to get started on my fillings before the numbing wears off....great....So, instead of filling my 4 cavities and completing a cleaning, only 2 cavities were filled and the cleaning was not completed. Now you can understand why was so peeved at the end of this appointment. I left work early, I used PTO to arrive on time for my appointment, and STILL waited over an HOUR before receiving any services. Again, trying to understand stuff happens and they're a busy office and not be to upset about it. I go up to the front counter to schedule ANOTHER appointment and set up a payment plan. I had specifically called and spoke to someone who advised they DO arrange payment plans. I'm at the counter and they tell me my bill is about $105. I tell them I want to set up a payment plan and the front desk girl begins to set it up when a woman named Mandy walks up and absolutely refuses to give me a payment plan. I'm standing here BAFFLED, speechless. I was so fuming at this point. I asked Mandy why she is refusing a payment plan and she begins to condescendingly explain to me that she is not offering a payment plan for JUST $100, for ONLY $100, no, not acceptable, no, she's not doing it. She tells me that corporate will be down her throat for ONLY $100!!!!! I had the money, the point is I DIDN'T WANT TO PAY IT ALL AT ONCE. Imagine if I didn't have the money? What if I only had $20 in my bank account??? This entitled, rude, shady lady decided to make me feel like a poor idiot for not wanting to dish out $105 for a poopy appointment. When I tell you I will **NEVER** go back, I mean I will NEVER go back to this office, this company, those people - period. I will not be referring any friends or family, I will be telling everyone to steer clear at all costs! Now, after alllllllllllllllll this BS, I go to schedule an appointment with a different dentist to get a COMPLETED cleaning and COMPLETED fillings, and they tell me they cant do a cleaning because I was billed for a completed cleaning! LOL! So now I'm in a claims dispute because of this joke of a dental office. Run far, far away.
