Dr. Geoffrey Chan has lived and practiced dentistry in Redmond for over 10years. Before he called the beautiful Northwest his home, he graduated at the University of British Columbia with a double Majorin Microbiology and Immunology along with Nutritional Science. He continued on to the New York University College of Dentistry to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He was on the Dean's List for all years and graduated among the top in his class.He then completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Washington where he underwent comprehensive training in all facets of dentistry. He developed extensive oral surgery, geriatrics, pediatrics and complex restorative skills throughout his year of training.
Having worked day-in-day-out with an orthodontist, periodontist and oral surgeon for eight years Dr. Chan has become very attuned to treating complex dentistry cases. He puts the patients comfort and the quality of their care first by working in coordination with a variety of specialists to perfect their treatment.
Dr. Chan spends a considerable amount of time volunteering withMedical Teams Internationalwho provide mobile van dental care services to those in need. His donation, time and service to theTent City Denture Projectin coordination withGreat Seattle Careswas well appreciated and received by the community. He recently started helping atSwedish Community Specialty Clinicin Downtown Seattle providing no-cost dental treatment.

I did not even get a chance to try this dentist. This is due to the fact I canceled my appointment before it happened due to their "COVID" fee. It's 20 dollars to pay for additional ppe and other COVID related things. I think this is completely outrageous. Not due to the amount of money of the fee but due to the fact they are charging customers this fee. This should be the cost of doing business. This business needs to adapt to the COVID pandemic like every other business. Not find a way to make more profit. I would do and say the same thing if a grocery store I walked into was charging me a fee for such things. Adapt and overcome.

Seeing the dentist isn't my favorite, but I really like Dr. Chan. I lived in Sammamish for awhile, but have moved around the area and continue to get work done with Dr. Chan even though it is a drive out to Sammamish. The reason why? Because he is very good at what he does, and has a good team, and in the office. Sure, I could get a new dentist closer to where I live, but why? I like the Team at Sammamish Plateau Dentistry. Friendly service and accommodating.

Dr. Chan was very thorough and very informative. It made me feel very confident in the work they were doing. Recently I had an old filling replaced. I was surprised how easy and fast it was done.

Very professional, forthcoming with good information on all aspects of dental health and careful to explain complex x-Ray images when a procedure is required. All staff members are helpful, from billing and scheduling to Dental Cleaning, which lends to a reassuring and friendly office.

Dr. Chan has been my dentist since he started practicing out of Sammamish Plateau Dentistry. The whole staff is always friendly. The hygienists do a great job cleaning my teeth the gentlest they are able to. Dr. Chan was there when I had a strange sudden discoloring on one of my teeth. He got me in right away, figured out what was wrong, and detailed out what we needed to do to get things fixed. Today you can't even tell which tooth had the problem!

The whole family has seen Dr. Chan and Co. for years. They are always so pleasant, know you by name and treat you like long-term friends. They explain everything so detailed and offer suggestions for treatment without making you feel like you better do something immediately.

My whole family has been visiting Dr. Chan for dentistry for the past few years and we have been taken good care of. My wife has a couple of teeth that used to bother her a lot and she hasn't had any pain after Dr. Chan did the crown. I used to have a filling from another dentist which did not fit perfectly, Dr. Chan redid the filling and I don't feel it anymore now. Wendy also did a very good job on teeth cleaning. Amber is very nice and always keeps sending reminder before the appointment.

I love this office! I started here when we moved to WA 4 years ago and wouldn't trust my teeth with anyone else. Everyone is super friendly and going in feels like catching up with old friends...it starts with Amber up front, Wendy makes my teeth clean and beautiful, and Dr. Chan does the final check with pictures/x-rays andamouth exam. I never feel like they recommend work or extras that I don't need, which I've heard other people say about their dentist. A few years ago, I was grinding my teeth a lot (they were able to show me comparison pics showing the wear) and Dr. Chan suggested i consider a mouth guard. He went over options and helped me pick the right one based on cost,durability, and comfort. He fitted it perfectly to my teeth and Iactuallywear it every night. No more flattening of my teeth. If you're looking for a great dentist, look no further than Sammamish Plateau Dentistry!

The entire team at Sammamish Plateau Dentistry is exceptional in taking care of their patients. From the moment you enter the clinic, you are acknowledged and greeted, provided transparency re: your planned services, Dr. Chan is a great communicator and discusses the treatment w/ you and his assistants are sensitive to the patients needs pre/during/post treatments. Highly recommend as I have never felt more welcome and safe at any dental practice before. 10 out of 5 stars.

Great! Lost a crown. Had the crown done in one visit win in- house equipment. Better than that was the experience and care of Dr Chan and his staff.
