From your initial entrance into our doors, we want to make the time in our office as smooth as possible. In our waiting room, we have video games, movies, and books available, making it easier for parents to check-in and complete necessary paperwork. We also provide an option to complete paperwork online.
Our open bay hygiene areas are designed with comfortable chairs for patients and room for parents to join their kids during exams. We also have ceiling monitors to help kids to take a break and watch a movie during treatment, an effective tool for distracting patients while they are adjusting to a new experience.
Dr. Ryan Walker loves working with kids and loves being a pediatric dentist! Dr. Walker is a native of Washington State and received his DDS dental degree from the University of Washington. He trained for two additional years at the University of Rochester and Golisano Childrens Hospital in Rochester, NY where he received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Walker is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and keeps current with the latest techniques and technology in Pediatric Dentistry through various continuing education courses each year. Since completing his education, Dr. Walker has worked in private practice for more than 10 years. Dr. Walker is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Seattle Pediatric Dentistry Study Club. He also speaks Spanish fluently. When he isnt at work, Dr. Walker spends most of his time with his wife and five children. You might also see him skiing, biking, running and enjoying being outdoors.

A pediatric dentist is different from a general or family dentist, similar to how a pediatrician differs from an adult doctor. Dr. Walker completed two years of additional training and after dental school in a pediatric dental residency program. Over the past several years in the private practice setting, Dr. Walker has treated thousands of children. This additional training and experience gives him the necessary tools to provide the best care for your child.
At Sammamish Pediatric Dentistry we see each patient as complete person not just a set of teeth. Our comprehensive approach takes a variety of general and oral health factors specific to your child and combines them to create a personalized prevention and treatment plan.

My toddler haaaates doctors and every time he enters a clinic he just keep screaming and crying until we done, but with doctor rayan the experience was really different; the reception was really welcoming and they offer him toys then doctor rayan was extremely nice he talked with me first to know how everything going in home while offering him toys and balloons and then he started singing while cleaning his tooth, my little one came home playing with the balloon and car and keep saying he loves doctor so much.... Am in a shock of happiness

My three children's appointment today with Dr. Ryan was very pleasant. As always he and his staff do such a great job in making us feel welcome. This is the second time this year we've gone in during Covid and we are comfortable with their precautionary measures as they take your temperature before going in the back. Everyone working there including patients wear face masks, and I even saw someone sanitize the exam chairs after each patient is done with their appointment as well as the prize stand. My children even got a free t-shirt each as they were celebrating their 5th year anniversary.

Excellent dentist and staff! They make the children very comfortable and my children love to visit this place. They give children a lot of goodies and it's a fun experience for them. Dr. Walker is very knowledgeable and friendly. I was also impressed by how very organized their team is and they have COVID protocol in place.

Sammamish Pediatric Dentistry is fantastic. Super clean, amazing staff, and overall wonderful environment. My son actually looks forward to going to the dentist, which is a huge win for any parent. He especially loves watching tv on the ceiling while they work on his teeth. The staff is always very friendly and inviting when we come in. I highly recommend!

We just got home from our first visit to Dr. Walker and my kids LOVED it and were asking when they could go back before we could even get out the door! My 9 year old said "it's like winning the lottery when you go there!". The staff is very warm and welcoming, the office has a fun beach theme, and they one of the most kid friendly offices we have ever been to. I think we are lifers!

My 3 year old daughter has been hesitant to visit the dentist. This was our first visit to Sammamish Pediatric Dentistry and I cannot say enough great things about this practice. From the moment we walked in, we felt the calm, welcoming and happy presence. They worked at my daughters comfort level and were so patient and kind. She eventually relaxed enough to get a good teeth cleaning and exam. They even gave my daughter special birthday balloons since it was her birthday. My daughter has been talking about going back to the dentist all day. Thankful we have such a great practice in our neighborhood.

Amazing service and office staff. They fit us in to take care of my child's chipped tooth, figured out the problem, fixed it and had us on our way in less than an hour. Dr. Walker did a great job explaining why it had chipped, as well as the treatment plan. Office staff was cheerful and kind. Great experience.

It was my 1 year old's first trip to the dentist, so I had no idea how she would react. I liked that they have a special separate patient room for the younger kiddos. The staff and Dr. Walker were very kind and professional. Very pleased with our experience and I would recommend them.

Zero Stars ..... Beware Had a poor unprofessional experience cancelling an appointment for my daughter. I had to cancel as my daughter was not feeling up to it, and I didn't want to take her to the dentistry without observing her. When I called Sammamish Pediatric dentistry to cancel, to my shock, I was told that there will be a $60 cancellation fee ( I was never informed of a cancellation fee when I called them up to set the appointment) . The lady on the phone didn't ask me why I was cancelling or inquire about the well being of my daughter, instead she gave me the lamest excuse possible. She told me in the most condescending tone that they couldn't waive the $60 fee because, I had rescheduled ( not cancelled) an appointment once 2 years earlier. Beware, these guys only care to earn a quick buck.
