Dr. Steven Park is a native of Seoul Korea, raised in Vancouver Canada. After attending dental school at prestigious Columbia University in New York City, he completed his prosthodontics residency at Columbia University as well.
During Dr. Parks prosthodontics training he was one of the few prosthodontics residents to perform research on newly developing techniques in implant dentistry. He was awarded first place for his research poster at the New York Chapter of the American College of Prosthodontics and second place at the national meeting of American College of Prosthodontics. He also received third place in the Tylman research award from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. At the end of his three-year residency, he was selected as the most outstanding prosthodontic resident.

He is an educator of other dentists. He was a clinical professor at Harvard University Dental Medicine for two years where he helped to mold and shape the future generations of dental students as well as prosthodontists. He also lectures around the world teaching other dentists his techniques and methods. Currently, at Same Day Smiles, he maintains a very active and successful prosthodontic practice with emphasis implants and esthetic dentistry using his advanced techniques and protocols. He also maintains a popular Instagram page (@implantGuru) where he uses social media as an education medium to share and teach other dentists on his innovative implant and prosthodontic techniques.
