Throughout his professional career, Dr. Arazie has earned a reputation for creating one of the finest orthodontic practices in the area. Dr. Arazie earned his undergraduate degree from Francis Marion University where he was named a most distinguished alumnus. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston.

Dr. Arazie continued his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He obtained a masters degree during his third-year residency, which occurred in partnership with research compiled at the Center for Growth and Development at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to his practice in South Carolina, Dr. Arazie is licensed to practice dentistry in the state of New York.

Dr. Arazie has served as president of the South Carolina Orthodontic Association and is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontistsand Southern Association of Orthodontists. His orthodontic training includes Invisalign/Invisalign Teen certification and experience with the most modern technologies available. Dr. Arazie is committed to providing innovative orthodontic care in a welcoming, comfortableand family-friendly environment.

In addition to practicing orthodontics, Dr. Arazie enjoys supporting local team sports and Florence Little Theatre productions, as well as staying up to date with former patients careers. While there is no set age for children to begin orthodontic treatment, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends visiting the orthodontist atage seven. By this age, most children have a mix of baby teeth and adult teeth, making it easier for the orthodontist to diagnose and correct tooth and jaw problems sooner and without the need for surgery.

It is vital that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, even during your orthodontic treatment. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.

Professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. Therefore, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
