Originally Dr. Brian Saltzman is from the Catskills of NY. He attended college at the Boston University of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1999. He immediately started working at a Community Health Center in Worchester, MA. After working and expanding his skills at the Community Health Center for two years, Dr. Saltzman decided to take on more challenges. He worked in a private practice in Springfield, MA, helped to develop and run a school-based pediatric dental clinic as well as provided dental care for a homeless shelter.
In November of 2007, Dr. Saltzman and his wife moved to the Middlebury area. Dr. Saltzman purchased his practice and took ownership in December of 2007. He has been providing quality dental care in the Middlebury area for 14 years now. He was honored with an award in 2009 for Americas Top Dentist. Dr. Saltzman attends several hours of continuing education yearly, keeping him up to date on the newest advancements and state of the art dentistry. He is proud to share his passion for dentistry and excellence with his patients, and believes in the importance of a beautiful, healthy smile.
Wendy graduated from University of Vermont with her Dental Hygiene degree in 2001. She has worked in our Middlebury office as a full time Registered Dental Hygienist for almost 21 years. Wendy is very personable, knowledgeable, and gentle. It is apparent how much she loves her career and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her patients.
Melissa graduated from the University of Vermont with her Dental Hygiene degree in 1975. She went on to further her degree in health and nutrition and graduated in 1978. She has been a full time Registered Dental Hygienist for over 48 years.
Jessica attended Vermont Technical College and graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree in May of 2011. She has over 9 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She joined our practice in August of 2011 part-time and then joined us full-time in January of 2012. Jessica is always friendly, kind, funny and knowledgeable.
Michaela graduated fromVermont Technical College with her Dental Hygiene degree in 2014. She has worked in various offices over the last seven years. We were lucky enough to add her to our wonderful in 2020. She is eager, personable, cheerful, and knowledgeable. She has made a great addition to our team.

I get compliments from other dentists on the work done by Dr. Saltzman. He is very professional, knowledgeable and calming to me who has anxiety when receiving dental work. I wish I still lived near Midd to get my dental care here. The hygienists are very friendly and through in cleaning my teeth.

I never would have guessed getting a tooth extracted would be such a pleasant experience. Dr Saltzman, Amber, And Lisa were all very comforting, cordial and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Professional, courteous, thorough! I went for an initial visit - just wanted a cleaning. Dr. Saltzman was very accommodating, Lisa the receptionist very courteous and friendly. But the real shout-out goes to Melissa, their dental hygienist - super thorough, not preachy and a good listener! Hands down, the best experience at a dentist that I've had in years!

Had 3 cavities filled and a root canal, checked in with me many times because I expressed my anxiety towards the procedure. Very comfortable, quick, and thorough! Followed up that evening after hours and reminded me to take more Advil.. Zero pain what so ever! Amazing work.

We bring 5 of our children to Dr. Saltzman and his hygienists for our regular cleanings beginning at 2 years old. They all have had to have extensive work done that referred us out, but still enjoy coming into the office for regular cleanings. Everybody is always very nice and accommodating~

Brought my 5 year old in -- literally kicking and screaming in fear. Within minutes, Wendy had her relaxed and giggling. She'd done the same for me when I went in pretty anxious about my first cleaning in five years (though I was a little more in control of myself). It seems over the top to suggest that being a dental hygienist might be a "calling," but honestly, that's how good Wendy is. (Dr Saltzman is friendly and competent too, but really, you spend most of your time with the hygienist.)

Broke my front tooth skiing, he repaired it and you cannot tell which tooth was repaired! Excellent work! Always the best even for regular cleanings!

My wife took my 7 year old daughter in for a tooth extraction, he was very unprofessional and just plain downright rude. Would NOT recommend for children whatsoever. Hopefully my daughter won't be terrified to go to the dentist for the rest of her life because of this hack.

Went to Dr. Saltzman fully expecting him to have to pull a tooth that broke. Not only did he fix it quickly and professionally, you can't even tell which tooth it was!!! Thank you!!
