Dr. Dillon Jensen is a proud lifelong Salt Lake resident. He met his wife, Olivia, in the second grade. They waited until college to marry. Dillon obtained a Bachelor degree in oil painting from the University of Utah. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California. His emphasis while in Los Angeles was on cosmetic cases. Dr. Jensen was brought back home to Salt Lake to further his dental education through the University of Utahs General Practice Residency. During the residency he furthered his skillset in categories such as implant placement and restoration, wisdom tooth extraction, and minor oral surgeries. Dr. Jensen has practiced at Saltwater Dental since that time. Dr. Jensen enjoys all that Utahs great outdoors has to offer. He is an avid snow and water skier. He still enjoys oil painting and decorates the office with his works of art. He lives inMillcreek with his wife and their four children.
With over 10 years of experience, Amanda does a great job of clinically explaining the best way to meet your oral hygiene goals. Amanda graduated at the top of her class in 2015 and is an outdoor enthusiast who knows how to have fun!
Bella works side by side with Dr. Jensen on treatment such as crowns, fillings, and implants. She is amazing with our young patients and makes sure they are having a good experience while in our office. Bella recently decided to take up Aesthetics and will be assisting Dr. Jensen in lip injections, Botox treatments. She also offers waxing, facials, and eyelash extensions on weekends and evenings.
Brianna is our Hygiene Assistant, and probably one of the first people youll meet when you come to our office. Her main job is to make sure you are in and out in a timely manner. Brianna and Amanda work as the best hygiene team you can imagine. You will leave here with a clean smile and probably a few minutes to spare. Many of our patients when first meeting Brianna do a double take between her and our Office Manager, Makalie. They are sisters and enjoy driving to work together every morning.

Saltwater Dental has taken immaculate care of me through several procedures over the past two years. Doctor Jensen executes his techniques flawlessly and is always interacting with the patient to see if he is understanding them and to set their mind at ease while competently creating a treatment plan that makes sense to the patient. He similarly does incredibly well in delivering services generally or in seeking consult when referral is appropriate. His staff are well trained, calm, disarming, and reassuring. I've never felt as much a part of the treatment planning anywhere as at Saltwater Dental as a patient and I'd highly recommend people seek treatment here for the smallest chip to major procedures if you value the quality of your smile and your health.

Dr. Jensen is great! He makes sure you are comfortable. He gives good details about the procedure before, during and after. He's kind and compassionate, but doesn't sugar coat - he tells you what you need to do to take care of your dental health. The staff is always kind and courteous.

Finally! Found a dentist and staff that is nice, honest and genuinely interested in the "patient first" mentality. I've been through 4 different dentist offices over the last 10 years and each one of them had a severe deficit in one of those categories... not here! The work they do here is much more "personalized," where they make you feel as if you are their ONLY patient. What can I say? They have extreme attention to detail, listen to you, address your concerns and NEVER try to upsell you on anything. What they DO do is give you the reality of what's going on, any "watch outs" and honestly tell you if something needs to be addressed soon or if it can wait. A++ all the way! Don't think, just schedule with them!

Dr Jensen is the most empathetic and compassionate dentist I've ever had. He is very professional and offers options for care without pressure and explains everything thoroughly!! The entire staff is extremely friendly, professional and caring. I highly recommend this practice and will refer my friends and family. Thank you for making going to the dentist a positive experience and for being so caring!!

Dr. Dillon Jensen has the best interest in your teeth. He is very transparent, honest, and even readily available 24/7. He makes it very clear to each patient that this is not a dental office which will do unnecessary dental work and they will actually do what is the best recommendation/options/treatments for *your own mouth*. Extremely happy to have been referred to Saltwater Dental. Highly recommend.

Dr Jensen takes the time needed to thoroughly explain how to properly care for your teeth and informs you why he is about to do a procedure. He has his assistants take a photo before any work so you are fully aware of what is going. Working with dr Jensen and his office you can feel their goal is to do dentistry with integrity and care. I had a dental emergency and my regular dentist was out for the week and he recommended Dr. Jensen. I gotta say I was floored by just how friendly and caring Dr. Jensen was. He explained everything extremely well, made sure I was comfortable and pain free, and frankly made me want to just hang out with him all the time. Bowling, golf whatever. He's just that nice of a guy! Oh, and he did great dental work, too.

Had a very close family friend as my family dentist until I moved to utah from California after college. He was rad! Attentive, funny, exceptionally talented and treated us like family. My limited dental experiences in utah have been "meh", so-so work, nice but inexperienced staff, etc. Dr Jensen is on that level( maybe higher). He's knowledgeable, presents options and patiently discusses them with you to make sure you're both on the same page. He works within your budget and is realistic when managing expectations. Plus, he's well-rounded (family man, lived out of state, gets outside), which makes his chair side manner top notch. His staff is equally friendly, talented (think minimal gum stabbing, gentle flossing, no splashing water all over your face, etc). He was recommended to me by a coworker for an emergency appt and I've referred a few close friends to his office. I'll be sad if I move away for med school, a solid dentist is hard to come by!
