Dr. Seung Hyun (Steven) Kim grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Ohio State University. He also completed his dental education at The Ohio State University, college of Dentistry, where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Following his graduation, Dr. Kim began working as an associate dentist for three years before opening his new office. During this time, He had advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics and Implant dentistry. He continues his education and keeps up-to-date with changes in dentistry by attending various continuing education courses especially in implantology, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Kim is currently a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Ohio Dental Association and Columbus Dental Association. Dr. Kim is here to treat every patient with compassion, professionalism, and a gentle touch. He is committed to providing comprehensive, quality dental care while making sure patients are informed and comfortable with their treatment plan.

I had a great experience overall. I am pleased with the hygienist who treated me. They were thorough and explained the condition clearly. I will return to this location.

Dr Kim is wonderful! He was very thorough with examining all my problem teeth and explained everything in detail. It's hard to find professionals you can trust to advise you in your best interest. I strongly recommend Dr Kim!

Dr kim and his team are all so Wonderful. I've never been happier. Today was my 1st time there and I left happy!!! I highly recommend salt and light dental for any of your dental needs!!

I've been to S&L twice now, having needed to change dentists due to a change in insurance. But I wish I'd found them when I moved here 7 years ago. State-of-art equipment, clean, orderly, with a refreshingly light ambiance. The Hygienist (whose name I don't know, only seeing his eyes) is the best who has worked on my teeth. He explains things, is unfailing pleasant and courteous, and very thorough. Fortunately, I've not yet needed any work by Dr. Kim, who has only checked me after cleaning, but his demeanor is such that I'd have no qualms. He is patient when answering questions, and the main thing is that he doesn't try to talk you into getting work done that is not needed. Basically, I trust him, and indeed the whole group. Last but not least, the receptionist is a wonderful lady, also exuding joy. And she gave me a pen when I needed one. ;-) I would recommend Salt & Light whole-heartedly.

First off, I should declare myself that I traveled from Toronto to visit my friend in Dublin. Since my insurance does not cover implant procedures and any associated codes, my primary concern was just to find a trusted dental clinic in that specialty. After having the procedure on my second molar done by Dr. Kim, I could find why this clinic received kudos in many aspects, not just to mention Dr. Kim's dexterity. This clinic will provide you with flexibility in scheduling, relaxation before/ during/ after procedure, best of kinds in terms of medical equipments (such as 3D x-ray) and great narrative explanation in layman's term for any questions. I may visit again in next 3 months for the follow up and it's definitely worth to drive that long to see my friend again and visit this clinic.

Everyone here is very attentive and punctual. The facility is clean. I had my root canal done here and it was virtually painless. They treat you as if you're the only patient at the practice. If you're looking for a dentist that is care driven and not money driven, Dr. Kim's practice is perfect!

Took my Dad to see Dr. Kim as his practice was nearby and on my Dad's insurance plan. Very knowledgeable , professional and friendly staff. Our experience has been great. Highly recommend them!
