Dr. Darren Goring earned his bachelors degree at Brigham Young University graduating Phi Kappa Phi. He was accepted into the prestigious Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of Pacific in San Francisco where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and received high honors. Following dental school, he completed three years of additional training in a competitive and rigorous prosthodontics residency at the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospitals and University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Goring is highly trained and passionate about providing quality care to his patients. When he isnt treating patients, Dr. Goring enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and four children.
Marilyn Warner is our office manager and has worked in the dental field for 30 years. She enjoys meeting and getting to know all of our patients and greets everyone with her warm, friendly personality. Marilyn attended Brigham Young University where she met and married her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family at their mountain cabin.
Lisa Howlett has practiced as a hygienist for over 25 years, specializing in treating patients with implants, prosthetics, and oral cancer. She views all of her patients as friends and is always interested in hearing about their travels and life stories. She maintains many of these friendships for life. Lisa wants everybody who comes into the office to feel loved and taken care of. When not in the office, she is excited to spend time with her close-knit family or learn about foreign cultures through travel.
Bobbie joined our practice in January 2020 and has been a great asset to our team. She has 15 years of dental assisting experience and has two children. Bobbie enjoys baking and spending time with family and their animals.
Chelsey Chen has been with Salt Lake Prosthodontics for over 3 years. She earned her Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah and is certified in dental assisting from Practical Dental Assisting of Utah. She intends to pursue dentistry and has been accept into the University of Utah School Dentistry. Chelsey enjoys conversing with patients and making them feel comfortable in a dental environment. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, and running at the park.
Dr Goring and staff were extremely helpful and prompt in helping me with my partial prosthesis. Dr. Goring is great,, I highly recommend him. My old dentures were terrible so he made new lower dentures and adjusted my upper plate. I no longer bite my lip and cheek and I am now having him make new upper plate to get one that fits my mouth and hopefully will allow me to talk more normally.

Dr Goring is great technically, professionally and ethically. He understands the dynamics as well as aesthetics of teeth. He will give you teeth that function as well as look great. Dr. Goring is by far the best dental practitioner I have been to. He genuinely cares about his patients. I have been the recipient of Dr Lee's wonderful care for over 25 years. So I was worried when he cut down the time he spent working. I need not have worried. Dr. Goring came highly recommended to me from my oral Maxofacial surgeon. I understood immediately why when I met Dr. Goring and his staff. This office runs extremely smooth and they are all incredibly kind and professional. I had failing implants that needed to be removed and replaced. Due to Dr. Goring's incredible insight, expertise and precision I was able to save 4 of my original teeth and only have a partial denture instead of a full denture. I couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome, my teeth look great and finally feel good!

BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!!! Dr.Goring is truly a perfectionist, and is impeccable at what he does. I had a hard time finding a dentist in Utah who did no-prep veneers, and was extremely anxious at the prospect of my veneers looking fake and bulky. I have a very particular and picky personality when it comes to my teeth. Dr.Goring has always been extremely patient and does an excellent job at explaining your options. He was able to deliver EXACTLY what I wanted, and went above and beyond my expectations. I have 8 no prep veneers on my top teeth, and they look UNBELIEVABLY natural. I have so many friends who have gotten veneers, and I can confidently say Dr.Goring has done an unreal job delivering natural no-prep veneers. No-prep veneers can potentially look very fake and bulky, and I am over the moon with how thin and natural my veneers blend with my bottom teeth. I can confidently recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Goring for several years now. I appreciate that even though he is a specialist I can do routine things, such as cleanings, through his office. It makes my life easier. And they remind me; I seem to get busy and let it go. I have been treated by other doctors and have been treated well. However, Dr. Goring's office seems to be just a notch above from the moment I walk in. I have found the treatment I receive to be first class and, as a side benefit, Dr. Goring and his staff are a lot of fun to talk with (well at least when there is no packing or fingers in your mouth.) I really appreciate this group. Scott L.

Doctor Goring and Marilyn and his staff are top notch. Sometimes going to the dentist can be an awful experience, but with Doctor Goring, it is a great experience. He is meticulous and I trust him. He does amazing work. If you're looking for a good dentist, look no further! Update: I really did like Doctor Goring and his staff and thought I found a home with them, but recently I had a family emergency and completely forgot about my appointment. I got a call from Marilyn and when I told her I was so sorry I forgot because of my family emergency and asked to please reschedule. I was told they don't see patients ever again if they are no shows. I was already so broken up going through my own personal problems and to be told this news was yet another blow. It felt very insensitive on their part. I know some offices can charge a fee for a no show, but to completely cut me off was so disappointing, especially because I have been to their office two times before and always told them how much I liked them and always wrote rave reviews. Only come here if your life is perfect and you never have family emergencies come up.

I've been taking my elderly mother to see Dr. Goring for several years. She was recently in need of unanticipated care related to a traumatic dental injury. Dr. Goring went above and beyond to ensure that she got the best possible outcome. He was able to see her in short notice to help stabilize the situation. The tooth was ultimately not salvageable, so she ended up needing a bridge. Thanks to Dr. Goring's skill, it looks natural and functions perfectly. His office staff is very friendly, and the office manager, Marilyn, have always been a delight to work with. We've never had issues with billing, and Marilyn has been very helpful working with our insurance plan. I cannot give Dr. Goring and his team higher praise. We are so grateful for his excellent care!

INCREDIBLE and IMPECCABLE! Dr. Goring renewed my smile into a glowing piece of art. I can't say enough good about Dr. Goring and his team of loving professionals. I cried when I looked into the mirror for the first time with my new veneers!! Many dentists say I "do cosmetic dental" - Dr. Goring's extensive education and talent raise him far above routine dental work. Just saying - you deserve the BEST! Sending this amazing group hugs :)

I'm so glad I visited Dr. Goring's office! I'm from out of state and have had a hard time finding someone I could trust and wasn't trying to nickel and dime me for extra, unnecessary work. He and his staff were friendly and answered all of my questions. You can tell they really care about their patients.
