I have been practicing dentistry in Salmon, Idaho since 2007. I graduated from Oregon Health Science University in 2006 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency from Idaho State University before establishing my practice in Salmon. I believe that continuing education is an important part of improving care for my patients. I frequently attend conferences, courses, and seminars in order to provide patients with the best treatment options and care.
I love living in Salmon and being part of such a wonderful community. In my free time I enjoy fly fishing and other outdoor activities. I spend as much time as I can with my wife and children. We love spending time together and exploring the beautiful area we live in. I have strived to support and serve our community as a member of the Salmon Rotary Club, as a hospital board member for Steele Memorial Medical Center and I am actively engaged in serving within my church organization.
Our office strives to give patients the perfect balance of modern equipment and techniques with small town friendliness and charm. I want to restore my patients oral health to the best possible form, function and esthetic. As a dentist, my goal is to provide quality, comprehensive care in a comfortable environment, creating a positive dental experience.
We are a team at Salmon Dental Center and are all dedicated and passionate about what we do! Our goal is to provide quality care and help your office visit run smoothly. We look forward to helping you on your way to happy and healthier oral care.
I have worked as a Dental Hygienist since 2014 and I cant imagine doing anything else! I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho and attended Boise State University where I received my Associate of Science degree. I then transferred to Idaho State University and graduated in 2013 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. I joined the team at Salmon Dental Center as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014. During my off time I take full advantage of the outdoor activities this area has to offer. I love living in Salmon and having the opportunity to serve this wonderful community.
I have had the privilege of being part of the Salmon Dental Center team since 2012. Growing up in the Lemhi Valley, I graduated from high school with aspirations to be a dental hygienist. I attended CSI in Twin Falls for 2 years, where I was a member of the college rodeo team. I completed my education at ISU in Pocatello, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. It is very gratifying for me, as a hygienist, to provide care to my patients in a calm and caring atmosphere where their comfort and wellbeing is the main concern. Another passion of mine is family! I cannot spend enough time with my husband Dillon, our children and our family who live nearby.
I have been working in the field of dentistry since 2004. I received a Technical Certificate in Dental Assisting from the College of Southern Idaho in 2003. I then graduated from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2009. I enjoy building a rapport with each patient I see as well as educating patients on how to achieve optimal oral health. I reside in Challis with my husband, two children and three dogs. In my spare time I enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer from hiking and camping to hunting and fishing.
I feel extremely fortunate to be part of the Salmon Dental Center team! I have worked in dentistry for more than 15 years in several positions including Receptionist, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene Assistant and as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I received my Expanded Function Dental Assisting Certificate from Idaho State University which later inspired me to continue my education at the College of Southern Idaho where I graduated with honors with my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. My family, including my husband and 5 children, love living in Salmon and enjoy being part of such a wonderful community. As a Registered Dental Hygienist my focus is to provide quality care for patients and educate them about their optimal oral health. I am committed to providing a comfortable and positive experience for my patients.

I have been working as a Certified Dental Assistant since 2009 and joined the Salmon Dental Center team in 2020. I take great pride in providing top level care to the Salmon Valley community. Gardening and exploring the great outdoors are a few things that take up my free time. I am honored to be part of such a dedicated team and look forward to taking care of our patients.
I joined the team at Salmon Dental Center in 2021 as a dental assistant. I enjoy working alongside Dr. Oliverson and learning new things about dentistry each day. I am grateful to be part of a team that works together to provide such great care for the community that I have grown up in. On my free time I work on my family ranch, enjoy being outdoors and going on adventures!
I am originally from Wisconsin but made Idaho my home several years ago and have never regretted it. Dentistry is new to me, however I have over 35 years of experience working in health care. As the front office coordinator, I enjoy helping patients and interacting with so many people in our community. I have six kids and seven pack goats. I love sewing, horseback riding, hiking, hunting, riding ATVs and anything outdoors. I enjoy being in a wonderful and refreshing atmosphere and genuinely love working at Salmon Dental Center.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Art degree in Photography. I have gained over 20 years of experience in various industries including retail/sales, education, legal, and healthcare. As part of the front office staff at Salmon Dental Center I work diligently to verify insurance information and to assist our patients with their treatment plans. I am committed to helping our patients and providing them with a positive experience. My hobbies include photography, geology/rock hounding and traveling. Most of all I love living in Salmon and spending time with my family outdoors.
Salmon Dental Center has been my workplace home for more than 42 years! I started with the late Richard R. Smith, DDS as a dental assistant in 1978. In 1981 I received my CDA and EFDA from College of Eastern Idaho and wore many hats during those formative years. Since June of 2007 I have had the extreme pleasure to work for Mark S. Oliverson, DMD. The opportunity to experience diversity in dental treatment and the excellence of application by Dr. Oliverson sparked my desire to expand my own knowledge and willingness to grow. My duties have varied from dental assistant to office manager over the years and finally with retirement in 2019, I felt satisfied with my dental career. However, I am back working again with Dr. Oliverson and this fantastic crew! I am immensely proud and humbled to do so and I serve as the Insurance Coordinator. My husband Kelly and I met in the Lemhi Valley and raised our three children in Tendoy. We own the Tendoy General Store and thoroughly enjoy working together. I love to spend my free time hunting, fishing, biking, golfing, snowmobiling, boating and anything in the beautiful outdoors of Lemhi County! To this day, I remain passionate about helping patients and receive great satisfaction from knowing each of them along with assisting them to make Salmon Dental Center their dental care home!
I am married to Dr. Oliverson and enjoy being part of the Salmon Dental Center team. I have worked in health care as a registered nurse for more than 20 years as well as worked in our dental office since moving to Salmon in 2007. I enjoy helping patients and collaborating closely with our staff. I provide human resource support as well as bookkeeping. Dr. Oliverson and I are blessed to raise our four children in Salmon and love spending time together as a family, enjoying this beautiful place we call home. I enjoy being part of a dynamic dental office and seeing the genuine gratitude our community has for Dr. Oliverson and the excellent care he provides.
