A native of Shelby, North Carolina, Dr. David Hendrick describes himself as the ultimate Carolina Man. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 1992 from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and went on to receive his DDS at UNC in 1995
Dr. Hendrick has had training in cosmetic dentistry, reconstructive dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, and Invisalign/Clear Correct alignment. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Isothermal Dental Society.
Dr. Brent Smith grew up right here in Charlotte, NC. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied Biology. He then went on to receive his Master of Science in Oral Health Sciences degree from Boston University, and finally completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Smiths goal as a dentist is to have every patient leave our office wearing a smile, fully satisfied with his or her experience. When a patient is in his chair, Dr. Smith says he wants them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
I make it a point to form a strong doctor-patient relationship with each one of my patients. This means including the patient in the entire treatment planning process, and spending extra time to address any concerns or questions they might have.
In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time in the sun, whether it be at the pool, lake, or beach. He also enjoys exploring the many different restaurants that South Charlotte has to offer. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the North Carolina Dental Society (NCDS), and the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), as well as a diehard UNC Tar Heels basketball fan and Carolina Panthers football fan.
