Services are all administered under general anesthesia and include: Exam & Cleanings X-Rays Fillings Extractions Crowns Pulpotomies (root canals on baby teeth) Frenectomies Tongue Tied (Must be indicated on referral) We do NOT treat adult root canals.

The patient is unable to sit still for extensive dental treatment. When the surgical dental procedures require general anesthesia. The procedure needed is longer than a child of pre-cooperative age can sit. Patient has Special Needs and requires general anesthesia for proper management. Patient is allergic to local anesthesia. Patient has a medical condition requiring medical supervision. Patient cannot be adequately anesthetized with local anesthetic alone. Patient suffers from acute dental fear or anxiety.

Dr. Patel earned his Dental Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine, and residency in Dental Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University of Southern California. He completed his Anesthesiology Fellowship at Riverside County General Hospital. In 1998, Dr. Patel helped establish Central California Dental Surgery Center in Atwater, CA, while building his private practice. In 2004, Dr. Patel developed and built Salida Surgery Center and their doors opened in 2005 where he is the Medical Director. Over the years, Dr. Patel has provided General Anesthesia to thousands of children and adults including children with Special Needs. In addition, he has worked to increase access to care for the under-served population of California by providing much-needed dental care. Dr. Patel is active in the community and in many dental organizations. Dr. Patel is a current member of the ADA, CDA, ADSA, and SJDS. In 2017, Dr. Patel became the President of the San Joaquin Dental Society.

Dr. Patel graduated from the University of The Pacific, School of Dentistry in 1992 and opened his first practice in Hemet, California, after several successful years, opened another practice across town. In 2005, he went into partnership to open Salida Surgery Center. Dr Patel began working at Salida Surgery Center part-time in the latter part of 2007 and decided to make it full-time by the end of 2008. In 2009, Dr. Patel opened Bay Area Dental Surgery Center in Milpitas, California. Dr. Patel is a member of ADA, CDA, Tri-County Dental Association, I Indian Dental Association, and the San Joaquin County Dental Society.

Dr. Patel is a board-certified anesthesiologist. Dr. Patel began her career in India starting with her MBBS degree graduating in 1996 from NHL Municipal Medical College in Gujarat, India then continued on with her anesthesiology residency at V.S. General Hospital, in Gujarat, India receiving her degree in 1998. Dr. Patel moved to the United Sates and continued her pursuit of anesthesiology. She passed the USMLE exams I, II, III, and the CSA and obtained her ECFMG certificate. This certificate allowed her to enter into a residency program in the United States. In 2005 Dr. Patel received her MD Anesthesiology degree after completing her residency at Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Patel became board certified in 2006 and has worked at Salida Surgery Center since 2008. Dr Patel is a member of AMA.

In 2000, Dr. Diwana graduated from dental school in India and worked in several clinics until she moved to the United States in 2005. While waiting to enter dental school in New York, Dr. Diwana tookseveral college credits towards her MPH degree. She graduated from New York UniversityCollege of Dentistry in 2011. Dr. Diwana has worked part-time in several local dental offices until she began working at Salida Surgery Center in August 2016. Dr. Diwana is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Stanislaus Dental Society, and volunteers locally in the community with several free dental clinics.

Dr. Sharifi graduated from The University of Toronto, College of Dentistry in 2008. She worked as a dentist for several years and then went onto to obtain her Dental Anesthesia credentials from Saint Barnabas Hospital where she graduated in 2016. Dr. Sharifi started working at Bay Area Dental Surgery Center in 2016 and then at Salida Surgery Center in 2017. Dr. Sharifi is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), & San Jose Dental Society. In 2021, Dr. Sharifi became a board certified Dental Anesthesologist.

Dr. Madapu graduated with Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) from India in 2005 and worked as a General Dentist before she moved to the United States to explore more opportunities. In 2012, she obtained a dental degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and practiced General Dentistry for few years; treating a large group of patients with dental anxiety. She is passionate about providing the best dental experience for patients, in a relaxing and safe environment. This motivated her to pursue a residency in Dental Anesthesiology. She graduated from Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn NY in 2019 and has been working at Salida Surgery Center. Dr. Madapu is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Southern Alameda County Dental Society (SACDS) and American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists (ASDA).

Dr. Kishan Patel prides himself on educating patients, friends, and the community by helping them increase their dental awareness and IQ. Although many dentists may tell you what you need, Dr. Kishan will take the necessary time to arm you with the tools and knowledge to make informed decisions and develop excellent home care habits. Dr. Kishan understands that each patient is an individual, and each individual will have their own unique plan on their way to dental success. Dr. Kishan considers himself a lifelong learner and dedicates himself to keeping up with dentistry's changing field to ensure his knowledge and skills will aid in your success. Dr. Kishan was born and raised in Southern Californias Inland Empire. He was exposed to dentistry at an early age with a father and uncle both in the dental field. He relocated to Northern California for his undergraduate degree at Santa Clara University, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Art History. After completing his undergraduate degree, he spent a year off following his passion for education, working in the Bay Area tutoring high school students in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. He completed his dental training in San Francisco at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Kishan is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
