If you want an attitude for asking about pricing this is the place for you. I'm pretty sure this and most dentists in the area don't accept many insurance companies if any. But the receptionist seems to think it's impolite to inquire. So the inflated rate seems to be $300 for a surface 1 cavity, about double to triple city rates. So of course when I asked to make an appointment, she left me on infinite hold since she's not educated enough to click the calender option without needing assistance or hours to figure it out apparently. It was obvious she wasn't busy when I called but since I asked about things she didn't like, she felt the need to reject my business. Just wanted the owner to be aware of how things are handled for new customers that aren't as rich as the phone person.

I had an appointment with one dentist but they put me with another one that I didn't know then tried to upsell me on a deep cleaning that I didn't want. The result was I spent a lot of money and left without a cleaning. That was my first visit and last because they lost my trust.

It's always an excellent experience at Salida Family Dentistry. The front office staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Vanessa, Heidi, JC, Michelle and anyone else I may have over looked. Sorry.They are the best! On the clinical side the cleanings from Ashley make my teeth sparkle! Dr. Belmont has been great with his expertise and discussing the best options for me as a patient. His dental assistants have been very professional, friendly and strive to make me comfortable. From the time I check in at the front desk to when I leave I know the best care and concern is extended to me.

My review is on the BV location. Sunny and Libbie always do a FANTASTIC job. They treat you like family and are kind, friendly and above all competent. In a world where things seem to get worse every day, having my teeth cleaned at Salida Family Dentistry's BV office shows me the world isn't totally going to hell in a handbasket. (Who would think that a trip to the dentist would make you more joyful/optimistic?)

Many of us reflect on the blessings we have received during this year. How grateful I am that I can cite my experience with Salida family and their staff, among my blessings! From my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the front office staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. Dr.Schulmier inspires the utmost confidence by her smile which is so wide that it seems hard to describe it as extending "from sea to shining sea" and by her wealth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. Kudos and the highest recommendation to any dr at salida family dentistry! Only setback is short staff upfront but they all make up for it with the expertise of the office and family like welcome!! We live in the mountains so it's difficult to find great workers all in one business.

As you know, I had a bit of anxiety before getting my first crown. I can't thank JC and Dr so very much! Thank you for taking the time to answer all my questions about the procedure beforehand. Jc helped me feel more comfortable with the procedure. I am very happy with the result. The crown looks great and matches perfectly. Overall between the front office and my amazing dental assistant I no longer fearful of the dentist office!!!!!! My mother is now becoming a patient and will tell anyone I meet about how wonderful your office is.

I am impressed with Salida Dentistry kindness and patience! When I learned the bad news about my teeth. It was hard for me to hear that they two of them needed to be pulled! Thank you for going over the X-rays in detail and explaining the problem. I also appreciate how quickly you were able to connect me with the dental specialist and always so warm/welcoming when I come in for appointments. I really like all the dentists-they all have different personalities. They are marvelous. Heidi was overly through with insurance, appointment scheduling and friendly professional chit chat; seems she can always lighten the mood! Thanks to all at Salida Family!!!

I had the most delightful experience with Dr. Libby Creasy and her sidekick, Judy, a couple of days ago. I was in the chair for placement of a temporary crown over a painful, fractured tooth. Their light-hearted banter and laughter made my day. Clearly they both truly enjoy their profession and it showed! Cannot say enough nice things about Salida Family Dentistry! Jerry, D.V.M.

I have been going to this dentist since I was a young adult. The staff has always been respectful and greeted with a smile. Dr. Wilken and staff made my visits very at home feeling. They're not judgemental and respect your needs. I would recommend this office over many other dentist offices.

Only giving one star due to the fact that I had an appointment on the 29th at 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday called at 9:25am to inform them that I would be on my way to my appointment that had been scheduled for about a month. To be told that my appointment was canceled due to the fact that I didn't call at 8:00am ... I've gone to a lot of dentists and usually when you're scheduled at 10:00 you show up about a half an hour early just to finish all the paperwork. I've never had to call to confirm my appointment when my appointment is confirmed to be set on a certain date and a certain time. If you have an appointment with them make sure you call at 8:00 before your appointment or you will be canceled. Cuz they will not inform you that.

Our family has been going to Salida Family Dentistry for 14 years and have always experienced the best in care. Great folks, great technology and a great facility, whats not to like!

I am a 100% disabled veteran. I was trying to establish care with these guys. The VA has faxed over approval 5 different times to their office. The lady told me that va patients are Difficult because of the process they require on their billing. She made it sound like they would rather not help me.
