Pediatric dentists are the pediatricians of dentistry. In addition to four years of general dental training, they have completed a minimum of two years of advanced and specialized training which uniquely qualifies them to care for children. If you are receiving care at an office offering general dentistry for children you are not seeing a pediatric dentist.

Our doctors and staff have been treating patients in these situations for over forty years and are dedicated to helping you reach your oral health goals.
Stuart S. Gould, D.M.D. Dr. Stuart Gould received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Cornell University. He received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed a pediatric dentistry residency at Tufts/New England Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Gould is a member of many organizations including the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Massachusetts Dental Society, and American Dental Association. He currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of Pediatric Dental Sedation at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
Jason M. Gould, D.M.D. Dr. Jason Gould received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hamilton College. He received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed a three year pediatric dentistry residency at Tufts/New England Medical Center. Dr. Gould is a member of many organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Amy Kim, D.M.D. Dr. Amy Kim obtained her B.A. in Neuroscience from Smith College and completed her Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences at UMDNJ. Dr. Amy further pursued her education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her D.M.D. After graduation, she worked in the Advanced Education General Dentistry program at the Winslow Indian Health Care Center in Arizona. Dr. Amy completed her post-graduate specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry as chief resident at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rushil Patel received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Florida State University. Dr. Patel then received his D.M.D. at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He continued his post-graduate specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Bahram Ghassemi, D.M.D. Dr. Bahram Ghassemi has been practicing orthodontics in the Boston area since 1985, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He received his dental training and a certificate of advanced graduate study in orthodontics at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He currently serves as associate clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His research has been published in several leading journals of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry and he is a member of leading professional dental associations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

He's constantly late when your on time the one min your late he brakes your appointment. Wants you to return later on like gas isn't expensive and our kids are kids is missing education, getting pulled out of class every single time

Had such a wonderful experience with my 3 year old toddler, she is usually scared of the dentist but the staff and dentist were super patient and super sweet. I'm very happy with our visit and my daughter did very well.

This doctor is truly AMAZING !!!! I attended a first time appt with my 3 children ... my little one (2yr) is a handful .. more energy than most children .. and the patience he had with her was just amazing .. made me feel so much better about bringing her and not having to be overwhelmed as I always am because of how she behaves at most places.. my other child (10) who will talk your ear off asked him a million questions about her teeth and the X-rays and he took the time to answer her questions and explained her X-rays and what to expect and she grows up etc .. I eventually had to tell her to shhh and it was her brothers turn the Staff was great !! In and out just as I like it with a mother of multiple children I could give more stars I most definitely would !! I am so happy I found a home dentist for my children here in Salem

Very friendly, professional, and inviting. The atmosphere was not that of your typical dentist. Great people, great energy. My daughter felt safe, and Dr. Gould answered all of our questions, also we needed an appointment right away for an emergency, they fit is in the same day.

The kids always look forward to their appointments here. They enjoy talking to their dentist (Jason) and he makes it fun for them while getting done what needs to be done. Great office and very clean (pre and post Covid).
