Salaita Orthodontics: Rashelle Salaita DDS - Orthodontist in Westerville, OH

The Salaita Orthodontics team works hard to deliver superior care and smiles that our patients can be confident in showing to others. We recognize that a smile is one of the first things that people may notice about you, and we understand how important a healthy smile is to both your oral health and your self-esteem.

Putting your trust in us will help your treatment be more successful, especially as we rely on you to keep your teeth clean, brackets intact, and aligners and retainers in place. Our special incentive programs encourage young patients to develop healthy habits, take their oral health into their own hands, and earn rewards for doing so.

Salaita Orthodontics offers early treatment for young children, which is crucial for addressing issues early and preventing later problems. We also provide complete orthodontic treatment for adolescents and adults, proving that it is never too late to get the smile youve always wanted. Whether youre interested in traditional braces or Invisalign clear aligners, we will work with you at every step of your treatment plan to develop the course of action that will work best for you.

  • Founded in 1929 by seven members, the American Board of Orthodontics, also known as the ABO, was the first specialty board created in the field of dentistry. As the global leader in orthodontic board certification, the ABOs vision is to set the standards of care for excellence in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

The ABOs mission is to elevate the quality of orthodontic care for the public by promoting excellence through certification, education and professional collaboration. This mission is achieved by recognizing the core values:

Orthodontic specialists, like Dr. Rashelle Salaita, have earned their dentistry degree and completed an advanced post-doctoral course, accredited by the American Dental Association, of at least two academic years in the specialty of orthodontics. To attain board certification, the orthodontist must pass a series of difficult, thorough written and oral examinations. They must also submit case studies of patients theyve successfully treated. The entire certification process can take anywhere from 5 to 10 years. Once this level of recognition is achieved, board certified orthodontists must be recertified every 10 years to maintain their status.

Dr. Salaita is board certified, also known as being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is a distinction that less than 50% of all American orthodontists achieve. By choosing to undergo rigorous evaluation by her peers, Dr. Salaita has proven her commitment to ongoing education and evolving proficiency in the field of orthodontics.
