Dr. Salaita received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University in 2011, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her many awards and scholarships include: Omicron Kappa Epsilon for the highest GPA in the sciences, the Dr. J. Matthews Mathias Scholarship for extraordinary patient care, and the Quintessence Book Award for outstanding contributions in the field of research. She also completed a one-year internship in the Orthodontic Department at The Ohio State University and a three-year residency program in orthodontics at The Ohio State University, receiving her Masters of Science Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics in 2015.
Dr. Salaita loves getting to know her patients, establishing relationships with them and transforming their smiles! She is married to her husband, Louai, who is a prosthodontist in Johnstown, Ohio. They have a daughter, Evelyn, a son, Victor, and a miniature Goldendoodle, Parker. As a family, they are so happy to call Westerville home and enjoy being out and about at the parks, shops and restaurants.
In this practice, Dr. Salaita enjoyed three wonderful years of mentorship working alongside and learning from Dr. Steven Emrich. She looks forward to continuing his legacy of over 30 years of exceptional orthodontic service to Westerville and the surrounding communities. Dr. Emrich is no longer actively seeing patients, but he remains an integral part of our team.

Orthodontic specialists, like Dr. Rashelle Salaita, have earned their dentistry degree and completed an advanced post-doctoral course, accredited by the American Dental Association, of at least two academic years in the specialty of orthodontics. To attain board certification, the orthodontist must pass a series of difficult, thorough written and oral examinations. They must also submit case studies of patients theyve successfully treated. The entire certification process can take anywhere from 5 to 10 years. Once this level of recognition is achieved, board certified orthodontists must be recertified every 10 years to maintain their status.
Dr. Salaita is board certified, also known as being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is a distinction that less than 50% of all American orthodontists achieve. Beautiful spacious office with a friendly and helpful staff! They are always kind and informative when explaining procedures, and I have never felt pressured to commit to a treatment plan. We are very happy to have found Dr. Salaita's office!

Salaita Orthodontics and Dr. Salaita removed a permanent retainer and replaced it with a nightly clear removable retainer. The remaining "glue" was removed. It is very comfortable and makes flossing much easier. I have worked with the practice and Dr. Salaita predecessors (Dr. Emrich, Drs. Skinner and Winkler) for over 45 years with orthodontia for myself and my family. I love the practice.

Guys cmon.... I know a customer named Susan got help because a worker answered my call and put me back on hold when I wasn't said Susan lol then I proceeded to wait 40 min to get an appointment which I never got. After 40 min I hung up and called back and it went to voicemail! I understand waiting.. I get it sometimes it can get busy and crazy but is it so hard to let me know that you'll give me a call back when it's less busy or something I would've understood. Got in somewhere else

As always, I highly recommend Salaita. Their staff is friendly and welcoming; it feels like walking into a friend's house when you arrive. Dr Salaita is amazing. Not only did she "fix" my issue (lost my baby tooth at 43) but she did not push additional services on me (we did braces on upper only). I have twins (now 8 years old) and had scoffed at the idea of braces for kids until my son continued having issues chewing with his mouth shut. We took both kids into Salaita for an eval (I assumed that she would say both needed braces, you know to make more money): surprise, our daughter was fine and Dr Salaita wanted to wait until my son's "eye teeth" fully emerged to decide. Long story short, he only has 3 months left in braces (he can close his mouth to chew) and my daughter still doesn't need phase 1 braces. Side note: we are fairly frugal and we had ortho options in our network that may have cost us less but they were pushing other services and Alex wasn't comfortable in their offices. Honestly even being out of network, Salaita was not much more and comfort/ friendly staff/ respect/ no pressured upsales is well worth it.

Amazing team and office ! I recently gotten my braces off. I am beyond satisfied and proud of the work and results. Dr.Salaita and staff are very warm, welcoming and accommodating. My kids will definitely only be using their service for ortho needs ( all three of them!) in the future ! You guys rock !

I have spent most of my life having crooked and crowded teeth. I was told long ago that for me to fix them, it would be a small fortune! One day I just decided to give Salaita a call and schedule a consultation. I am so thankful I did! Not only was it affordable, but there were flexible payment arrangements that made it work for my budget! I am about halfway through my treatment and my teeth look amazing! Our family has been going to Salaita Orthodontics for over 3 years now as we have gone through the stages of taking care of our son's teeth. From the moment we stepped into the office for the consult, until today, the office has been friendly, efficient, fun, and so easy to work with along the way. This is a big investment and they know that and bend over backwards to help you make it happen. The office staff has always been incredibly helpful and friendly every single time we visit! Dr. Salaita is professional but also very easy to talk with. We would highly recommend this office for your orthodontics needs!

The Salaita team makes every part of the process easy. The office is beautiful and clean, scheduling is easy, pricing/billing is clear and reasonable, and the staff is so friendly and makes nervous kiddos feel comfy. Their incentive token program and little extras like snacks and appreciation days on the summer (Kona Ice truck!) make it feel extra special. Also they do great work!
