Dr. Michael Sakuda was born and raised here on Oahu. He is a graduate of Iolani School where he lettered in both football and track. He went on to attain his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology at the University of Southern California and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado in 1995. He completed his hospital residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where he received extensive training in prosthodontics, oral surgery, and the care of medically compromised patients..
Dr. Sakuda has been practicing here in Kailua since 1996 and loves living in the community he serves. He has a passion for caring for people and providing a dental experience unlike most others. His background in art, sculpture and drawing, his natural ease of developing new friendships along with his endless pursuit of perfection makes dentistry a uniquely ideal fit. Along with his wife and twins, he enjoys keeping fit and most of all, spending precious time with his family.
