Dr. Augusto Wong is a native of Lima, Peru who has been providing quality care to his patients since the opening of his flagship practice in North Plainfield in 2002. He opened his second office in the Bernardsville-Morristown area in 2013. Dr. Wong graduated from Universidad Inca Garcilaso de La Vega Facultad de Estomatologia, in Lima Peru. He then earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry
Dr. Wong is fully committed to the health of his patients. Dr. Wong frequently participates in continuing education courses to ensure that his patients are receiving the latest treatment techniques. He also prides himself in ensuring his practices are up-to-date with the newest technology. Additionally, Dr. Wong yearly travels abroad to enhance his expertise in implant care while also providing pro Bono services. In his spare time, Dr. Wong spends time with his family, Carmen and his 4 children. He enjoys cooking and attending sports events. Dr. Wong and his son, Kevin, are die-hard Mets and Knicks fans. He also enjoys following the Peru national football team

Had no problem with this place until the other day after coming for almost 2 years. Called to schedule an apt and without even knowing what was going on the receptionist refused to schedule an appointment and told me I needed to see an oral surgeon. I called to have my wisdom teeth looked at because I thought it was inflamed and the lady said the dentist wouldn't do anything for me besides give me ibuprofen. Finally find an oral surgeon within my network and they require an X-ray and referral. I call the dentist and speak with the same lady tell her I'm coming 12:00 PM to pick up documents. I get there, no documents ready and some other assistant says she can't issue referral because they haven't saw me. I'm extremely livid. Lack of communication and false information given. Staff needs to be on same page!!
