Dr. Jamie Sahouria is excited to be back in her hometown of Rohnert Park to provide quality oral healthcare to young patients of all ages. She is a proud alumnus of Hahn Elementary, Rohnert Park Junior High, and Rancho Cotate High School.
Dr. Sahouria attended and graduated with honors from University of the Pacific with a bachelors of science degree in Biological Sciences. She then attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following this she completed a one year program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry where she received training in caring for patients with complex needs. Dr. Jamie then attended the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. She earned a post-doctoral certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology. She is a board certified pediatric dentist with Diplomate status from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jamie also has extensive pediatric trauma training after having served for two years as the on-call pediatric dentist for the emergency department of Memorial Hermann Childrens Hospital in Houston. She is certified in both Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Sahouria is involved in numerous dental organizations which promote the prevention, education, research and restoration of dental diseases. These include: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, California Dental Association, Redwood Empire Dental Society, the Bay Area Pediatric Dental Study Club, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Sahouria is also a clinical professor at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry Pediatric Clinic. She also serves as a board member for the Dugoni Dental Alumni Association and is currently President of the Alumni Association. She is a member of the Patient Services Committee for the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jamie loves kids and she is excited about the privilege of getting to know and work with the children and teens in the area where she grew up. She is proud of her team and their commitment to providing the highest quality of care and services.
Both our front office team and our back office team have received special training in working with our special patient population. Our team members are registered dental assistants and hygienists; they are licensed with the state of California. With every interaction we strive to keep in mind that attached to the mouth is a young person who deserves our utmost attention. We are excited to meet you and invite you into our office!

We were very nervous about taking our little guy in, thinking he would not do well. He's usually horrible with strangers. To our surprise, not only did he not have a meltdown, but he actually enjoyed it, fully participating in the entire exam. It was a great experience and we're actually looking forward to the next visit!

I can't say enough about Jamie Sahouria and the staff here. My boys are now both teens and they have been coming to Dr. Sahouria ever since they were toddlers (after testing out two other pediatric dentists). They have never ever not wanted to visit the dentist. My youngest has had problems with teeth crowding and Dr. Sahouria had to extract a couple. I was so worried about it and she did it so easily, he didn't need anything except for a bit of Novocain. My oldest is 18 now and I am freaking out that he will need to find another dentist soon. They never push unnecessary procedures or x-rays and only do it when it's needed. They are honest and professional and we love them!

GREAT staff! Love, LOVE this dentist and her staff. The front desk staff makes you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. Everyone was on time and the staff is extremely professional. A fantastic experience for both myself and my 15 month old son! I look forward to my son's next visit!

Today I had an excellent experience at Sahouria Pediatric Dentistry. My son is extremely afraid of doctors so we'd put off his 1st dental visit for far to long. They were so kind & treated him very respectfully & he did great! No hiding behind me, he answered all their questions & had no problem with the cleaning or X-rays. Thanks for being so understanding of his fear & taking great care to help him feel comfortable!

My 4-month old son had his tongue tie removed by Dr Jamie yesterday and I can not be more relieved by the experience. I dreaded the appointment for weeks - it's hard to take your baby in to do something you know will be painful, even if it is necessary. But Dr Jamie and her staff were very warm and professional, answering all of my questions and reassuring me that my son was in good hands. The procedure lasted about ten minutes while I waited (outside). I was then called back into the room and Dr Jamie sat with me until I felt confident in how to take care of the post-op wound - taking the time to watch a how-to video with me, then she texted me the link to the video, just in case. I'm very thankful that I had Dr Jamie for this experience. Dental work - especially with babies and young children - isn't fun, but they make it as pleasant as it could possibly be. Thank you.

Absolutely love this place! My little kids do so well here. We actually drive from another city to come here. We used to go to another children's dentist that was not as child friendly as this one. From the time you walk in to the time you leave they make this a really positive experience for kids. 10 stars!

Dr Jamie works her magic again. I swear she just has a special touch when it comes to kids. My son is terrified at the dentist this was his 4th visit and she has worked with him. She is always patient and because of that he sat still his whole appointment and left happy. He is no longer afraid of going to the dentist. Thank you Dr Jamie
