We have embraced a modern approach to dental care, and we utilize the latest technology available. We also stress continuing education for all members of our practice. We participate in CE courses and study clubs throughout the year and all over the country. In doing so, we are able to stay up to speed on current research and treatment modalities taught by the best clinicians and lecturers. We do all of this so that we can offer you and your family the most up-to-date dental care available.
Although these advances are a wonderful improvement in the way dentistry is performed, they cannot substitute for the gentle touch of a compassionate doctor and team. That is where we truly shine! The safety, cleanliness, and sterilization of our office are top priorities. Every instrument is either heat-sterilized in a hospital-grade autoclave or disposed of. After all, our doctor, our team and our families and friends are also patients of the practice. We sit in the same chairs that you do and want your visit to be just as safe as ours. You can have the peace of mind that we do everything in our power to make sure your visit to our office is a safe and pleasant one.
There is no greater joy than seeing patients walk into my office wearing a smile, and when its a smile I helped create, I am reminded why I chose this profession. Whether its a complete makeover, relieving a patients discomfort, or just a friendly conversation at a routine check-up, treating our patients like family is my number one priority. I consider myself blessed to be part of this practice, as it not only allows me to provide excellent care to my patients but offers a comfortable and friendly atmosphere while doing so.
Dr. Kimes graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. A native Texan, she has lived in all of the big cities but is proud to call Austin home. She and her husband Jonathon, who is an Orthodontist in town, settled near Dripping Springs in 2010 and have two children, Hunter and Audrey. An avid runner, she loves to be outdoors in the hill country but cant pass up an opportunity to travel abroad! Dr. Kimes is an active member in her church and enjoys serving her community by supporting Travis County Court Appointed Special Advocates, the Capital Area Dental Foundation, and the TDA Smiles Foundation. In addition, she is committed to advancing her dental excellence as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and by attending numerous continuing education courses throughout the year. She is a member of the Baylor University Alumni Association and Womens Network, American and Texas Dental Associations, and is very active in the Capital Area Dental Society. She is an honored recipient of the CADS New Dentist of the Year Award and continues to support the CADS New Dentist Committee. She served on the Board of the Texas Association of Women Dentists from 2007-2014.
Originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, I am excited to call Austin my new home! I have worked in dentistry for more than 10 years and I am truly honored to work with such wonderful dentists. They are the most honest, caring, and humble doctors I have ever met. When I initially started working here I was so impressed by their people skills and the quality of care that they provide for our patients. Im a long-time resident of the Lake Travis area. Joining Sage Dentistry in the summer of 2015, I found a team that works together seamlessly to provide the highest patient care possible. I have been a dental hygienist since 1989, and I continue to thoroughly enjoy it. I was fortunate enough to become part of this amazing team in 2006. Our doctors are some of the most sincere, caring and gentle people I have ever met, and all of those qualities are apparent once you become one of their patients. Cindy graduated from Missouri Southern State College. Cindy and her family moved to Austin from Oklahoma. She enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, Nick and Bronson. Cindy also enjoys golf, cooking, and arts and crafts.
