Wow I want to give a big shout out to the orthodontist and the young lady who help me today I didn't catch either of there names but to make a long story short they were quick and effective and getting me in and out and also went above and beyond to help me I will definitely be coming back

do not come here. seriously. Sage is a chain which is already the first red flag. The staff barely acknowledged me. Here's what happened to me. and why i will never go back and beg everyone not to come here or any sage location. I needed a root canal. I got 2 x-rays in Avalon and one in Winter park. They did a consultation. They said they needed to do a root canal. So yesterday I was in the MIDDLE of my root canal procedure and they abruptly stopped. They said the tooth was too decayed to do a root canal. Then why did I go and waste my time and money just for them to say they cannot do it. The "doctor" looked at my teeth. hit them a little and did an x-ray and he still couldn't tell? The 800mg of ibuprofen did nothing. I'm in so much pain but will be getting fixed by another dental center. Sage was the only dental my insurance allowed. It's worth it to spend out of pocket than come here. I don't believe they know what they're doing. Every other dentists and etc are afraid of patients that come to them because of something Sage has done. They scam you and break you. I got charged for the root canal even though they did not even do it.

The reviews that talk about their inconsistency with appointments are true. I scheduled an appointment, to which I received a confirmation call. On my way to the appointment they said they had cancelled my appointment and given it to someone else because I didn't call back to confirm. They had the face to call within the hour before my appointment to let me know, but not any time before that either. I have never had a medical facility cancel appointments last minute for not calling them to confirm your appointment again after having scheduled. If I already called to schedule my appointment, received a reminder call and I am making it to my appointment, it's clear I have that appointment time available. Nowhere in the voicemail does it say to call back or they will cancel. I work back to back 14 hour shifts, I dont have time to waste to keep calling a facility to confirm something I already confirmed to begin with. We are all adults. This place is a huge waste of time and poor customer service. They refused to fix the issue for me and said they would reschedule in a month. Not coming back to this place.

Mustafa Akram provided excellent care. It's no fun going to the Dental Office, but Mustafa made it relaxing with no pain. Tge front office staff are great too!!

As a nervous dental patient due to a very bad experience as a child I have always feared dental appointments. Dr Ortiz and Mindy went above and beyond making my appointment calming they smiled and Understood my issues and helped me thru it. I cannot say enough about them. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Skylar so wonderfully and it continued thru the procedures until the check out and scheduling for next appointments. It was amazing I would recommend to anyone !

The office staff are very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Ortiz, dentist, and Mustafa, hygienist, are great and very patient. They are not pushy like some dentist offices I have been to before.

Today 7/19/2022 I had one of the best cleanings ever. The beautiful lady was nice, kind and gentle. The whole experience was what should happen every time you go to the dentist patience. When I was young had some bad ones. Thank you!

My insurance pays for a set of Dentures once every 5 years and they was also trying to make me pay for them over 3000,00 and thats tops only. I told them where they can go!!!! They also hit me up for a 107.00 that day and nothing was done. Besides telling me what i owe they also lie and said i already had 2 teeths pulled this year no i didn't so watch out they are nothing but liars and thief. Go somewhere else And back in May i paid 72.00 and my insurance company told me i should of pay nothing.

Warning: Sage Dental by- passes insurance coverage to overcharge clients. I was referred by my Dental insurance to Sage Dental Clinic @ Hoffner & Conway. They performed a Comprehensive Dental Exam that included X-rays and oral exam by the Dentist. She gave me a referral to a Endodontist for a Root Canal procedure. They did not provide where to find one. I had to call everywhere to find one and gave up. I called my insurance and they finally gave me this Office referral. They like Hoffner tried to charge me for procedures not yet indicated in by the clinical diagnosis. The Manager stated that my Health Insurance is trash and I had to pay cash for the procedures, almost $1,400.00. I filed a complaint with my Insurance and I may follow up with further steps to make ensure that this is corrected and addressed properly.

I've been a parient for almost 6 years of this Winter Park office and I've seen the change in personal and customer service decline of this office. The other bad reviews are correct. This place is very dishonest and overpriced for the kind of service they give you. After a bunch of procedures I did last year I decided to do a regular visit to check how and what needs to be done on my teeth. First of all the dental assistant Sonia treat me really rude. She looked surprised that I have good blood pressure and that I don't use any extra medication like se felt frustrated for that fact. Then all of a sudden the Dr. ORTIZ shows up very quickly leaves the office and for my surprise the dental assistant communicates me that I need two crowns done. No x rays showed to me and a piece of paper showing the price after insurance. They even insisted to me that I need to do a couple of implants and I told them that I know that but I don't have the money yet to do that. The dental assistant SONIA told me in a low voice : go to do this in a place less expensive that this office. And that was the cherry on top to take the decision of not coming back to this office or any other Sage Dental. It's really a shame for a franchise that use to be so good.

I filled an appeal with Aetna DMO for coverages that were not done correctly by the dentist in the office. Per Aetna I'm supposed to be refunded almost $2500. The office has been disregarding my emails and not taking my calls. I received a letter from the dentist canceling my patient relationship, because I complained to their corporate office after my bridge fell out the same day that she did them. This has been the worse experience ever. I would never recommend Sage to anyone!! Don't believe me? I have everything documented

No negatives here. From the moment I walked in the staff was cheery, friendly, smiling and very welcoming. Dr Albies was phenomenal. He checked everything out, explained options and found he had time to perform the procedure when I was just expecting a consult. Procedure could not have gone smoother. Very grateful for the care everybody provided. It was well worth the hour, forty-five minute drive! Thank you all!
