I'm an out of state student and received no indications prior to my visit that this dentist would need a full mouth x-ray prior to a cleaning and exam. I spent an hour and a half waiting today and had to continuously approach the front desk for updates on insurance verification and if they had received my records, this should be more proactive prior to my arrival. After Sage received my medical records with bitewings and panel images the dentist refused to see me because she wanted a full mouth x-ray that would not be covered by my insurance. My dental office back home could not understand why they would not see a healthy patient with the images that were provided. Instead, the Dentist at Sage Dental would rather expose you to unnecessary radiation and astronomical prices for images that aren't medically necessary because that is her "policy", although the front desk stated that every dentist is different, so no, it actually sounds more like a choice.

Called to cancel an appointment today. Was hung up on. When I called back I was told the call was disconnected. When I clearly heard the phone slam. I called the toll free number and left a message for the person in charge of customer relations ( so I was told that was the number). No call back. The front staff is rude and unprofessional.

Customer service is terrible. Both times I have been the receptionists have terrible attitudes and yell at customers. Would rate a 0/10.

Dr. Ahn is the worst! Their billing department is the worst! I was supposed to do a root canal, they charged me quadruple, and while I was asking why the dr. Left and went home, no work done!

Just another Dentist Office that likes to try and screw people out of money. I get a call that my last 3 appointments for cleaning weren't covered by my insurance and I have $300 about to go to collections, I call my Insurance and find out not 1 claim has even been sent to them during that time. When I call Sage, they say that "if the procedure isn't on my covered benefits sheet they don't even bother to send it" yet after these appointments, I paid a $60 copay, and was NOT told it wouldn't be covered. I was told that my appointments are just standard cleanings. Now I'm sure Ill get told that they were "specialty" cleanings and I'm forced to pay for a STANDARD cleaning out of pocket.

Sandra always does a great job. She is pleasant, professional and always makes me feel comfortable during the periodontal procedure.

Change the appointment time from 10:30 to 11:00 fibbed about the time that they had received the registration all in all we were there for 2 hours without being seen I could understand if they were running late if they would have just said that

If I could give them zero stars, I would! I went because I knew I had a cavity, but my usual dentist wasn't covered by my insurance Anymore. Started off with xrays. Fine. It was my first ever cleaning and consult appointment at Sage. They refused to do the cleaning that day. They said I had 8 cavities that needed filling. And one needed a crown it was so deep (that's the cavity I knew I had.) I asked what my insurance would cover, but they said it wouldn't cover the work completely. Ididn't have enough money, so they had me get a credit card to put it on. The card would only cover the crown I needed to have, So over the next few weeks, as I made $ i had the other cavities filled. All but 2. Then I found out that the crown that I paid out of pocket for would have been completely covered by my insurance if they had used different material. Fast forward to now i go back to my old dentist. And the suspicions i had are correct. The 2 cavities that they said i still needed filling did not exist. The 6 cavities they "filled" were superficial and my dentist said he thinks they lied to get my $. And the cavity they did do should have had a root canal done, so I'll now have to spend even more to fix my tooth properly. Bottom line , get a better dentist, even if it costs more! Also they used to be called Gentle Dental but their reviews were so bad, they changed their name!

This was a proficient place back in the day, but not anymore. My appointments are constantly jacked up. My recent dental work is insufficient, so I went back in the office to have it looked at. The dentist who did my work is no longer here, and now I'm starting to wonder why. Waited 50 minutes to be seen. Was told because I didn't notify them that I submitted an electronic form. Really?!? You received no recognition that an electronic form was completed?

Had a great experience. Everyone working there are friendly, professional, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Kossack is a great oral surgeon.

Not impressive at all another one of those ghetto and bad customer service dental offices. I spent 45 minutes on the ph yesterday with a lady to set up an appointment everything is confirmed and i got the email to confirm that as well, the day before the appointment i called to be sure, i was told they had nothing for me in their system and would have to schedule for a month away. Good luck

I went to Sage Dental after a long time of no dental plan. They did an excellent job of taking care of an accessed tooth with a root canal and capping. No deep cleaning, or fillings after that, but they than did a terrible partial that wrapped around my mouth and made it hard to speak. Then I was charged 900 dollars put on Care credit card. When I went to another dentist to do the work that should have been done, I called Sage to go over my billing and found out that I was charged 200 dollars for a 40 dollar visit and since then I have been trying to get the folks there to credit back the balance to my care credit card. This June it will be a year and have gotten no satisfaction from there. I would recommend other dentists in the area like Perfect Dental on Military Trail, or Polo Dental on N Congress. Sage is more about the money instead of your oral health.

The staff was very nice and the hygienist was excellent too, and the dentist was very good.

If I can give them lower than O star it'll be better. Before I made an appointment Around Sept 2021 they said my insurance will cover my total fee for crowns including extra out of pocket cash. After several months they called me just to say I need to pay out of pocket again because my insurance did not cover it and sent me a bill almost $800 on top of 2 grand that I paid upfront. Careful guys. I hope it will not happen to you. I will not recommend this company to anyone of you. This is personal experience.

Worst experience in these dentists. I don't think the patient should tell the personnel what to do. The secretary treats me so rude, and the doctor and assistant are so lazy doing their job. Save your money and better go to another place that the personnel wants to work and not be there just for money.
