I just had a cleaning done at Lake Park the lady that did my cleaning starts talking about my treatment she mentions Fluoride and I told her that I didn't get it last time. She tells me that the cleaning is $62.00 I make a mental note because back in March I didn't remember paying that much. She was very rough with the cleaning, made me bleed a lot to then tell me I have gingivitis and that I needed a treatment. I told her that back in March I didn't have any of the issues she was describing because the older women that did my cleaning in March explained what she was doing while she was doing it. She said it takes 3-6 months to develop gingivitis. I told her she was being rough so of course my gums are going to bleed. She finishes the cleaning and tell me to wait. She then tries to sell me a $40 mouthwash for my "gingivitis". I told her I was not paying for that. I go the reception to pay and I ask the receptionist to check how much I paid last time because I'm certain I didn't pay that much. She tells me that the cleaning is paid for by my insurance but that the Fluoride treatment is $62.00. I told her that the lady didn't tell me that and that she said that my cleaning was $62. I was so upset at this point I had to walk out. I'm not sure if they get commission for adding this stuff to a basic cleaning but that was extremely ridiculous.

You can do better than this place. I went in for my first appointment today so I could get an exam and a cleaning. They spent the first 30 minutes doing 18 x-rays because that's what insurance would pay for. And then I waited another 30 minutes for the dentist who spent less than 5 minutes with me. They then brought me a written treatment plan laying out $2000 in work that they felt I needed to have done. This $2000 included nearly $1000 in recommended deep cleaning, even though I explained that I just had this procedure perform 3 months ago. I was then told to check out, and I never even got my teeth cleaned. Now I have to go through all of this again with another/new dentist someplace else.

I went in for an extraction, they did an evaluation to tell me what I already knew, referred me to an orthodontist and charged my insurance $334, is this for real?? For a visit?? Never again. The receptionist is also extremely unprofessional

This place is incredible. The office staff worked with me on the spot to clear up some issues with the insurance company. The dentist is very well trained, up to date, talented, and compassionate. I could not be happier with this place.

I went in for a consultation for a bridge after having a tooth removed. That was my priority. Instead, I was told I needed 2 crowns on the other side of my mouth, which I was not experiencing ANY pain or discomfort. In addition, I had just worked with a dentist 4 months prior, before I moved, who advised me there were no issues with those teeth. So I end up trusting this new dentist at Sage and she drills down both my teeth for these crowns, to a point where there's barely any of my tooth left and most of the enamel is gone. I spent almost $1000 for the work. Several days and weeks have gone by and I have excruciating pain all day and night in BOTH teeth. I'm living on pain meds around the clock bc the pain is interfering with my work, concentration and my sleep. It's throbbing early hours of the morning and it's non stop once the pain meds wear off. I went back to the dentist to have this fixed and we can't even take off the temp crowns bc the pain is so great. She refers me now to have a root canal... MORE MONEY for teeth that weren't even bothering me before we started this process. The fact that it's happening in BOTH teeth she worked on is a clear indication it's not my teeth, but her work! She drilled away too much of my enamel and now it feels like the nerve is exposed in both teeth. I can't drink or eat anything hot or cold or even chew on that side of my mouth! And the bridge work hasn't even been addressed yet, hundreds of dollars later... RUN!!!-Tenured experience is worth looking for in your dentist, folks.

My experience at Sage Dental at Lake Park was amazing. I am not a fan of the dentist just because its a bit uncomfortable but the staff was absolutely amazing at making me feel comfortable and safe. The doctor, nurses and other staff members really care about their job and patients and you can tell by their treatment. 10/10

Went in for a cleaning even though my girlfriend had mentioned that they said they'd be adding a few things on to her cleaning but that it was 100% covered by her ins and later received a bill for 290$. My case after having x-rays and the dentist going over everything, he told me I had no cavities and that I needed a mouth piece due to teeth grinding at night. Until this point all was well but he dental hygienist started saying I needed this and that beyond the cleaning which I agreed on adding it (125$ extra)if it needed to be done. During the cleaning she (dental hygienist) was thinking outloud and said the dentist doesn't know what he's talking about and how she was going to reschedule me to have a cavity removed in 4 months. During the cleaning she focused on one area with the drill or tool that she was using. She then tells me I have a cavity coming in as if I didn't just hear everything she just said. Now I'm doughty g that I even needed to do the extra that cost me an extra 125$. I wanted to talk with theoffice manager before posting this but no one ever calls back. Very sketchy and wishing I would have taken advice and not went here.
