I would give this dental office a lower rating, if it was available. This office trys to charge you for procedures not part of your Treatment Plan and that you do not owe. You get bills all the time even though you've paid them. They do not know how to do billing, and staff are completely incompetent when it comes to your plan. UPDATE 10/31/22: After seeing my new local Dentist just a few minutes down the road from Sage Dental Dr Phillips, I was advised that I NEVER needed the deep cleanings that Sage Dental said and was charging me for, plus they were not even doing them correctly as well. Sage Dental Dr Phillips is just scamming people!!!

I've been going to Sage in Dr Phillips for several years. It was time to get a new smile and Dr. Sheida did an amazing job! My teeth are perfect, but it took a lot of trial and error to get the best look. In fact, we were almost done and Dr. Sheida wasn't 100% happy so a number of teeth had to be redone. It was worth every day I needed to go back bc my teeth are gorgeous. I received a new smile for my daughter's wedding. Additionally, the staff has been wonderful! Jeffrey does a thorough job as the hygienist. Laurie, the office manager is outstanding! She helped me navigate through the insurance company which enabled me to get new teeth. The rest of the staff is very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Don't be afraid to check out how far your insurance will go! I highly recommend Sage Dental of Dr. Phillips!

Sage dental on Sand Lake in Orlando engages in bait and switch used car dealership tactics. They book you for a normal cleaning (which is covered by your insurance twice per year), then when you show up, they lie to your face, tell you that your insurance doesn't cover the procedure, claim that it only provides you with reduced rates, and instead do some up charged extra nonsense cleaning that your insurance actually doesn't cover. I called my insurance company afterwards and they confirmed that Sage dental didn't even bother to call them. They are clearly misrepresenting their services, adding unnecessary upcharges, lying to their customers, and are then pretending that was what you asked them for. Do not go to this business, they are awful

Biggest waste of time do not go here! Staff is highly uneducated and recommended me to another Sage office downtown that requires $150 with taxes just for the exam cost.

There are some really nice people working at Sage. DMD Sherin Thamarasseril and Jose Costas are both excellent and their assistants also. They are very open to questions and they always make sure you are doing ok. They would find a time to schedule you on an amergency. The front office but for one minor instance at Dr. Phillips are excellent too. Their SageCare+ insurance plan for uninsured was the best I could find in Orlando.

This team is amazing! I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years but Dr. Ghnaim was very kind and answered any questions I had. They definitely went above and beyond for me & were super friendly. Highly recommended!

I have had repeated bad experiences here. They cancel appointments with no communication. I have driven for 3 different appointments to be told they are cancelled after arrival. They have cancelled all of my family appointments for the last year so I have now paid for a year of insurance I have not been able to use. They're rude and unapologetic. I went three times to pickup a mouth guard they were supposed to order that they kept saying was late until the third visit they realized they never put the order in. I really am not sure how they are even open at this point.

Please stop mailing me spam. I am NOT a patient of yours, and the dentist I go to doesn't have a SINGLE 1-star review.

Went today for appt. The girls are great! Everyone in the office is just wonderful. I'm very happy. They explain everything. They take there time answering any concerns you may have. From the dental asst. to the Dental doctors all are very courteous, professional and so very nice. The appt was great, very happy with this office and everyone who attended me. Hope it doesn't change. Thank you all at Sage Dental!

Sage Dental Dr Phillips is amazing. The team they have their are all professionals, work fast and gets me to my dental procedure swiftly but they make sure that you are well informed about the treatment, cost and options you might consider. What I really like the most is that they answer your phone call and all Unlike other dental clinics making a schedule it's a breeze.

Where do I begin with Sage Dental of Dr. Phillips? This is going to be a moment... First, I ALWAYS have a horrific or terrible experience with the Dentist. I was born with a bone issues. It affects my entire skeletal frame, teeth & nails included. So dentist visits? I start sweating as soon as I get to the front door. Finding a good dentist is always a mission in disappointment (for those who keep upwith me, my last dentist HORRIBLE)...Not today. Today was my 1st visit. I walked through the doors here, and yes, it was beautiful, clean, & smelled wonderful. That didn't impress me. I've been butchered in dentist offices, that looked like the Hilton. The staff at the front desk (Camila & Nitza) were very friendly. Camila assisted me & amazed me right away. Her knowledge & experience showed immediately. She was amazing indeed. I purposely played dumb, to see what her responses would be. This young lady & Patient Coordinator, knows her stuff. She should be at every front desk. Impeccable service - she even offered water & then coffee after I was done. Absolutely wonderful. She made me so comfortable, that staying there was encouraging...Yes, I've walked the heck out of places with poor customer service at the front desk & filed complaints if necessary. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS (in my former Human Resources voice). Thank you Camila. But wait...it gets better. The tech Emma, was AWESOME. She was quick, efficient, and friendly. Jeff, he gave me the deep cleaning. It wasn't fun, but necessary based on my particular issues. But what I liked about Jeff? He explained everything to me beforehand, answered my questions before I even had to ask, was very knowledgeable, and good at what he does. I'm the type of person, that likes information in its entirety. Jeff, left me learning new things about my teeth & bone issues. He also has a great personality. My gums feel slightly sore, and I have a mild headache (the whining noise from the tools), lol! But my teeth feel different. They never felt so free, healthy & lite. Darn good job Jeff. Thank you soooo much. I saved the best for last...My DENTIST, DR.SHADA!!! I don't know where you found her. I don't know, can you clone her? She's who I'd call Everyone's Favorite Dentist. She was beyond knowledgeable, knew her work, very thorough in examining & explaining, broke-down my options, gave me her expertise, and actually took time to talk with me (rare). Most dentists I know, are in & out, and often don't like sticking around for questions. Dr. Shada? The complete opposite. I even have to admit, I looked at her at thought, she's too young, surely she doesn't know much. HAH!!! She's a freakin' dental guru!!! She knows her job & well. I've been to enough dentists & orthodental surgeries in various states & hospitals to know. And the best part? She has a natural sense of humor & super friendly attitude. What a wonderful human being...CLONE HER, lol!!! The working relationship she has with her staff? These are happy people. I didn't want to leave, lol! I'm actually looking forward to my upcoming treatments...Is that weird??? Lol! Listen everyone. Don't walk, RUN to Sage Dental of Dr. Phillips, ask for Dr. Shada. Tell her I sent you! You won't regret it. This is the longest review I ever wrote. Why? Because they're simply, that darn good. Thanks again & see you all very soon! Totally, Totally AWESOME!

Been to this office numerous times and there is always something going wrong. When I had my wisdom teeth removed the surgeon accidentally sliced a piece of my gum which took months to heal completely. I came back for a cleaning this year and when I arrived they told me I did not have an appointment. I showed the front desk the automated text I had received that same morning saying "See you for your appointment at 3:30PM". The front desk woman was confused and so the office manager intervened. She said that because I didn't answer a phone call they had made 2 weeks prior to confirm my appointment, that my appointment had been cancelled. I checked my call log and they did make a phone call, however they called me at 8 in the morning and did not leave a voicemail. I assumed it was a spam call. If my appointment was cancelled why would you continue to text me a confirmation of my appointment the day of? I explained to them that I had made this appointment months ago and had even taken off of work. Their solution was that they could reschedule me in another 2 weeks. I would have expected better treatment from an office that I have spent thousands of dollars at.
