This is for the dental phobia people like me: It took everything in me to book this appointment for myself. I'm really glad I did and was able to work on not only my teeth but my mental fear. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people I met. I felt very safe and not judged or rushed with all my questions and concerns. The dental hygienist, I believe Amber, was super sweet and gentle and took her time. God bless that woman because I know I did not make it easy. I'm going back for my dental fillings ( I did not take my Xanax and the cleaning took a lot of mental strength) but I am not terrified like I usually am. Thank you sage dental for making my experience comfortable and taking such good care of me! To whoever needed to read this, you can do it!

I had a cleaning at the Midtown location. Unfortunately the address makes it seem like the spot is inside of a large compound of businesses so when you type the address in the gps doesn't show anything accessible from the street. The website should make it clear that the entrance to the practice is on Crescent Avenue. A small map would probably help as well. As of right now the website only says that parking is to the right of the practice, which- surprise- only helps if you are looking at the place! When I finally did get through to a human at the right location (their system routes you through prompts so you can never just reach the office directly, which is painful if you are running late!) they were helpful and apologetic enough- not their fault! And my cleaning was thorough and not rushed at all.

I'm A New Patient And Everything Was Soo Pleasant Everybody There Answered All My Questions They Made Sure I Knew The Next Step. Also Not A Long Wait Time Everybody Handle Everything With A Sense Of Urgency. Most Definitely My Favorite Dentist Office I Had By Far.

Dont like to give bad reviews but sadly I must agree. First consultation they were nice enough especially the assistant....she was great awesome. The dentist seemed rushed took xrays and determined a broken tooth was infected which the oral surgeon had to do...fair enough. Coming in for what I thought was an extraction turned into another consultation determining tooth next to it needed a root canal so need for the endodonist to move first. Appointment scheduled...then the day before at close of business "oh the endodonist wont be at this office" soooo another consult scheduled weeks later. All the while the tooth in question has abscessed and I think I have developed an ibuprofen tolerance. How bad? so bad the teledentist sends me to emergency dentist who drained it a bit and got me on very strong antibiotics to prep for the extraction which I now have to pay full price for.

I'm confused by the good reviews. When I visited, my x-rays were painful (first time, ever) and the team was impersonal. I knew I would need a deep cleaning but the entire team spoke around me, about what I needed, as if I wasn't in the room. Then they passed me off to someone else to discuss billing for treatment that literally no one on the medical team discussed with me. Not to mention I saw the dentist for maybe 2 minutes and never once did she speak to me directly. I decided not to return for my cleaning and treatment and instead paid out of pocket to visit a new dentist with better service. Dentists are naturally stressful but the service and communication here don't help. Oh, and the rooms aren't private.

Their lack of transparency and professionalism is unbelievable. They insisted in destroying a tooth that has a cavity underneath my gum to justify a crown procedure ($), when they could perform a more traditional treatment -- a restoration with composite according to another dentist I consulted. From de occlusal surface they could use a drill to make a cavity of II class of Black and save my tooth. The cavity hadn't affected the pulp yet and I had no pain or other symptoms at all! After the procedure, I was in pain for a month and they badly hurt my tongue. They then "recommended" a root canal, so I decided to go to another dentist who tested the vitality of my tooth, and said no root canal is needed! My new dentist ordered a new crown and they even let me choose the shade of my crown, something Sage Dental didn't even bother to ask me. When I picked up my crown from Sage Dental, it turned out to be way whiter than my actual teeth. Their work are so slapdash and careless that it's simply mind-blowing. On top of that, the dentist's assistant with an attitude, showing obvious disdain and discomfort. These people are shameless. I'm so glad that I went to another dentist -- at least my crown resembles the actual color of my teeth. Don't recommend Sage Dental.

I've had the same dentist for 12 years and at my first visit with Sage Dental, before building trust or rapport, the dentist told me I have a cavity in one tooth and need a crown on another. The news was delivered very suddenly. I thought it was odd that my last dentist didn't mention these issues. I gave them two stars because the assistant and hygienist were really nice and did a great job. I'll definitely be getting a second opinion before doing the more serious dental work they recommended. On another note, hopefully they can get their practice moved soon because it's not a good look to be working out of boxes.

I'm very disappointed with my visits to this dentist's office, and here is my experience with them over the past few months. First, I called a month in advance in February 2022 for a cleaning, and I specifically said I wanted a cleaning. Because I'm a new patient, the visit was not cleaning but examining how they would clean my teeth later on and improve my teeth. I was never once told that over the phone or in any emails. I had to schedule a month later for a cleaning. I was asked twice if I wanted braces during the appointment, even after saying no the first time and saying I've already had them as a child. I also left with over $800 worth of suggested things to help my teeth if I came back later. Second, I had a letter mailed informing me they were moving to a new location in Atlanta for my cleaning appointment. Before my cleaning appointment, I tried calling several times to confirm, but no one answered my calls, despite them being open. I called the main Sage Dental company number, and a representative from Sage Dental was not able to get in touch with this office as well. The representative did inform me that they did not move to a new location yet, even though they are telling their customers they did, and this has been going on for over a year. Third, I scheduled an appointment to determine if a root canal was needed on a tooth. I got a call 3 hours before the appointment to let me know a mistake had been made, and they could not make my appointment. I had to reschedule a month later. Fourth, I show up at my root canal appointment at 8:00 am. I arrived at 7:30 am because I was not sure if they had moved to a new location or not. I tried calling the day before and left a voice mail, and no one returned my call. I waited for about 20 minutes into my appointment and was told that Doctor Chang was running late. At about 9:20 am, a doctor arrived to do my appointment to determine if a root canal was needed. The procedure took less than a minute. Lastly, I noticed the prices for the root canal procedure seemed very expensive (a little over $900). I called my dental insurance, and they informed me the prices seemed off by a lot, and something was suspicious. The dental insurance company called the office to have a predetermined treatment plan sent to the insurance company to figure out why prices were high at this dentist's office. That will be another month of waiting around.

Amber performed an excellent cleaning. She also provided great tips for care at home and suggested a few methods to achieve better dental hygiene!
