Dr. Theodore Safer is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Worcester City Hospital where he received advanced training in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Dr. Safer has practiced dentistry in Taunton for over 30 years, and keeps current with continued education in implant dentistry, laser, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Safer and his wife Cheryl have been married for over 30 years and they have two children, including Dr. Jason Safer, and Jessica Safer, a speech pathologist. Dr. Safer is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Jason Safer is a graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received the Tufts Senior Award for Public Health and the ADEA Preventive Dentistry Award. Following graduation he completed a dental residency at the Orlando VA Medical Center where he received advanced training in implant and restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and treatment of medically compromised patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Safer is a jazz pianist and composer and enjoys performing around Boston. He and his wife Alyssa live in Mansfield, MA and enjoy running, cooking, traveling, and cheering on the Patriots! Jason is a member of the International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI), the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.

I recently moved 45 miles away and made the mistake of trying a new dentist. After just one visit with the new dentist, I came back to Dr. Safer. The office is friendly and comfortable and Dr. Safer is personable, professional, knowledgeable, and always takes the time necessary to make sure I understand the plan of care. I will continue to drive over an hour to see him.

One of the best dentists I have found in a long time. All staff made me feel like a family. Provided the best option and gave me the best advise across.
