At Safari Smiles we strive to be the most compassionate, professional, and friendly dental office possible. We focus on patient education and prevention of dental disease. Our goal is to be an outstanding childrens dental office by providing a fun and positive experience for our patients and their families.
Dr. Lindblom ('Dr. Jon') was raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated from Bartlesville Senior High School. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biomedical Science.
Dr. Lindblom was then accepted into the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry in Oklahoma City. During his four years there, he excelled in dental materials research winning the colleges top research award both years he applied (a first in the colleges history).
He also developed a passion for treating children. He graduated in the top of his class with pediatric honors. These accomplishments allowed Dr. Linblom to enter a two-year childrens hospital residency program where he attained his pediatric specialty certificate. This was completed at The Childrens Hospital in Denver, Colorado and is affiliated with the University of Colorado.
As a pediatric specialist, Dr. Lindblom has advanced knowledge of child psychology, growth and development, pediatric oral and systemic diseases, craniofacial anomalies, oral sedation, general anesthesia, and advanced pediatric dental procedures.
Dr. West (Dr. Scott) is a native Oklahoman, born in 1970 and raised in Jenks, Ok where he graduated high school in 1989. After graduation, he attended Tulsa Community College, followed by Abilene Christian University, and finally the University Of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he obtained his DDS degree in 1996.
In addition to his 20+ years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Scott was a part of the adjunct faculty at OU College of Dentistry from 1996-1999, as well as a clinical supervisor at TCC Dental Hygiene school from 1997-2003.
Dr. Scott and his wife Melanie share a passion for dentistry - she works as a hygienist in Glenpool. Together they have two children, a daughter- Maura who plays tennis and the violin, and a son- Derrick who plays baseball, piano and cello.

Dr. John is amazing at what he does and his staff is so compassionate about patient care of all ages! My daughter is 1 month old and struggled with eating because of a lip tie. Dr John and his staff were able to fit us in and do same day treatment. My daughter is eating and sleeping better. We can not thank them enough! We recommend them to anyone with children of all ages.

I'm appaled to find out that your business is sponsoring a local event that is known to promote and cater to the sexualization of children. What kind of monsters are managing your dentistry business? Your licenses should be revoked! I pray that you go bankrupt so that you won't be able to fund any more events that harm the innocent children.

I had to bring my toddler to Safari Smiles when he fell and chipped a tooth, and no one else would see kids so young. They got us right in and put my mind at ease. Excellent, friendly, personal service and a clean, bright, kid-friendly facility! Definitely appreciate their business!

I have two children that have go to Safari Smiles. They are both on the autistic spectrum, and the staff and Dr. Lindblom are so patient and thorough with them during their appointment times. They are always so nice and professional. I adore them, and my kids do too!

Our daughters have received an INCREDIBLE experience with each visit. They LOVE Safari Smiles! Dr. John and his staff are kind, considerate and professional. When you walk in the office, it doesn't feel like a dentist's office, it feels like a theme park with the fun decor. They use state of the art equipment and the office staff is always friendly. We would give 10 stars if we could! We simply can't recommend Safari Smiles enough!!!!

We had a great first visit with Dr. Scott and his team. Kristi was so helpful with scheduling everything over the phone leading up to the appointment, she answered all of my questions. Abby met us outside with the paperwork since the lobby is currently closed and was as sweet as could be. Tiffany explained everything, was gentle and calm and showed us all of the tools, including the neat little tiger used for polishing teeth. I did quite a bit of research before choosing Safari Smiles and I could not be more pleased with our decision. I would highly recommend Safari Smiles, we can't wait for our next appointment.

All three of my girls go to safari smiles and we love them! We just received handwritten personalized notes in the mail for my twins first visit. That was such a sweet touch and the girls (5 year olds) were thrilled! The interior of the building is so adorable and definitely geared towards kids. They are kind, patient, and all so good with kids.

Wonderful experience from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. Staff did a wonderful job introducing my 3 year old to her first dentist visit. Love Dr. Lindblom, great with my daughter and very informative about what she needs now and in the future.

I don't have enough positive things to say about Safari Smiles! The staff was phenomenal and so was the doctor! My daughter went in for a double frenulectomy this morning and is doing great now! It was so nice to have someone listen to my concerns and reassure me that I was doing the correct thing. The procedure was quick and easy and they did a great job of soothing my daughter afterwards while they waited for me to come back. They informed me every couple minutes where they were in the process and how she was doing. If we are still in the area when she starts getting teeth and needing a dentist we will definitely be making the trip to Safari Smiles! Thank you all so much for the amazing care you provided!
