I am fortunate to be able to interact with kids daily. I grew up having a positive experience with dentistry, and I hope my patients feel the same way. I strive to ease childrens fears by providing an all-around-fun, as well as, educational experience. As a mother myself, I treat my patients with the same gentle care I give my own child.

Saddle Rock Pediatric Dentistry - Pediatric dentist in Aurora, CO

I began my education in 2007, completing my Bachelors degree with Honors in Molecular & Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. Afterward, I studied at Nova Southeastern University completing my Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2012. I solidified my decision to work with kids after I ventured to Colorado to attain advanced training through a general practice residency at Denver Health Medical Center. In 2015, I attained a Pediatric Dental Certificate at Nova Southeastern University, also earning a Master of Dental Sciences degree.

While there, I trained in behavioral management including advanced techniques, such as oral sedation and general anesthesia. The courses also included an immense amount of training with children with special needs. I am a graduate of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and use the laser frequently. Using dental lasers is consistent with my practice philosophy of minimally-invasive dentistry. Connecting the mouth to the body and overall health is of utmost importance to me. I also have formal training in Myofunctional Orthodontics and Frenectomies, the release of tethered oral tissues such as tongue ties. Providing patients with the safest care possible is my number one goal. For this reason, I also treat patients at Childrens Hospital Colorado.

In 2016, I achieved Board Certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I am proud to be an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. I currently serve as Secretary of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

A fun fact about me is that I was born in Suriname, South America. I now live in Parker with my husband and daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and traveling. My favorite trip so far was a family vacation to Mykonos, Greece, where we rode around the island with ATVs! I look forward to seeing our smiling patients and meeting new families!

His distinctive training gives him the ability to achieve the ultimate goal of creating healthy, beautiful and confident smiles for your child, all in one specialized location. Designed with your children in mind, our cozy and fun environment combined with caring staff makes our office feel like your childs dental home.

The front desk worker Shannon is CONSTANTLY is passive aggressive and rude every single time we have been here. Definitely doent know when to shut up. Dentist tend to be great in fact i REALLY like them. But the receptionist is driving people away left and right seen it in person. She's got some problems clearly.

I was here with my two kids, 9 and 11 and we had a wonderful experience. The hygienists were kind and seemed to enjoy kids. The dentist took a lot of time, even asked basic personal questions and did not make me feel rushed at all. I like the separate check out area. I'm glad we have found a dentist office my kids can go to until they are adults.

While the dentist herself is wonderful, the rest of the staff are rude, arrogant and down right unprofessional. The front desk lady. Shannon, should probably find a job in trash collections or something far away from anything customer service based. The technicians should definitely do their best at not front face lying to clients, especially when those clients have the proof in front of them. Take your kids somewhere else that will be customer oriented. You'll have a MUCH better time.

Female dentist gave my son an unnecessary filling saying we should try and open the tooth up, and drilled a massive hole with no anesthetic or anything, also they got rid of the water laser which was one of the main reasons we were coming here. The front desk constantly seems to change and there is a lack of information with differing knowledge of what is and isnt available

Receptionist is rude definitely needs to work on bettering costumer service. We have 4 kids that go there all have the same father but 2 separate moms and so we have requested 2 separate files for the kids to prevent any type of hipaa violation and it's been the biggest headache. We get the run around no clear answer as to if it's actually possible or not we have been trying to get this done for months now and still didn't know if it was done or not I called today to follow up and the receptionist told me the manager has a lot on her plate and doesn't have time to do this minor thing but then proceed to say it's a very time consuming thing to do .. I will be removing my kids from this dentistry.

They never disappoint. My son had a terrible experience with anotjer dentist that's caused lasting issues and anxiety. But the staff here ALWAYS makes him comfortable. And they never come down on me for making certain decisions with his treatment. Highly recommend.

I'm regretful for ever having gone to this office, and for not asking the right questions before setting up my kid's consult there. They are a no masks pediatric dental office who refused to disclose whether staff were vaccinated or not. What the?? This makes no sense to me! We refused treatment and left. Don't take your kids here, there are other better options!

The staff is great except for the rude receptionist that doesn't listen well. I don't care for the heavy reliance on gassing the kids either.. my previous dentist never needed nitris because he was a good dentist. The hygienists make this place worth it though.

Just know that you have to pay in front for the service (not teeth cleaning). Than, you have to chaise them around to get your money back. After changing them around you can't get your money back because your insurance didn't pay. Well, they don't care about why they didn't pay..... May be they never submitted it.... Who knows....But they are very fast telling you it is your fault, and not trying to figure out the issue. Don't go there. Not very best care. Anbilling is an

Do not use them. Their billing is not only inaccurate but is borderline fraudulent, if not outright fraudulent. We continuously have issues with charges associated with regular teeth cleanings - this never happens anywhere else. They either can't get their coding correct or add charges / codes that eventually the client has to pay because insurance doesn't cover the charge. We have received a number of billings for which they can't provide support or a reason that makes sense and then the lady says she'll call back and never does only to get another bill and have to start from scratch trying to resolve. There also have been times when we pay at the facility only to find out that we were overcharged and they keep the money to offset errand charges to insurance that they know insurance won't cover and are services that were never provided anyhow. People like to complain about a lot of industries but the health and insurance industries are out of control and need serious regulation ASAP.

I've been taking my kids here for about 3 years. I've always really liked it, but today I feel like they went above and beyond to make my oldest comfortable when he was really nervous about getting a spacer removed. He wound up leaving saying that he had a different idea of what the removal involved. Dr. Julie took the time to talk to him and also demonstrate on a model what they'd be doing. It took awhile, but they never made us feel like a burden. I'm very grateful for everyone's patience!

I agree with previous reviewer, something goes wrong in the end, ended up working on same tooth, multiple times. The docs are nice, nurses hit or miss! Not pleased with their performance.
