It is the goal of both Drs. William and Lara Sackheim to provide you with the best possible dental care in a no stress, non-judgmental environment. We both truly enjoy and are passionate about Dentistry. We always strive to be up to date in both the latest technology and the most modern techniques and procedures in all areas of Dentistry. We care about your dental health and will help return your mouth and smile to its healthiest. We pride ourselves in practicing honest and conservative dentistry. You will only be planned for the treatment you need. While we do offer many cosmetic services, we know that many people are happy with their smile and just want to keep and/or return their mouth to health and that is what we are here for. If a better smile is what you are looking for, we will be glad to discuss with you all your options. Pros and cons of all dental treatment options will be discussed thoroughly with you, and after being fully informed, it is your decision what treatment options you want to pursue.
Dr. William Sackheim was raised in Gulf Breeze, FL. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He then went on to Nova Dental School in Fort Lauderdale to earn his D.M.D. Dr. William Sackheim has spent the last 5 years following his wife Lara, also a dentist, as she completed a 5 year service commitment to the Air Force.Dr. William Sackheim is so excited to have the opportunity to take over the great practice Dr. Hinman has established.Dr. Sackheim is looking forward to leading the practice the way it has been going with great conservative and honest dentistry. Dr. William Sackheim loves being back in the panhandle area with his wife, two little girls, and dog.
Dr. Lara Sackheim is now taking patients with possible additional future hours depending on demand. She moved all over while growing up as her Dad was a career Air Force dentist. She ended up following in his footsteps and joined the Air Force prior to starting Dental School. Dr. Lara Sackheim graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then went to Nova Dental School in Fort Lauderdale to earn her D.M.D., where she met Dr. William Sackheim and convinced him to take golf lessons with her and the rest is history Her plans are to work part time at the office, while also taking care of their two beautiful little girls.

This is 100% the best dental office in the area!! I spent my teenage & early adult years hopping around dentists and have finally found a home at Sackheim Dental. The receptionist, Victoria, is always so helpful with any questions you may have (in person and over the phone), all dental hygienists do an amazing job every time i've had my teeth cleaned, and Dr. Sackheim is very knowledgable and explains everything that needs to be done in detail with me. I would recommend anyone to see them and enjoy each visit I have.

I highly recommend this office for your dental needs. I am blessed to have really good teeth so really only need to have regular cleanings. Everyone there is amazing and I am sad that I am moving back to the Midwest in a month but had to have a final cleaning before I move today! You will not regret choosing this office for your dental needs.

I never write google reviews, but Sackheim dental absolutely demands a positive review. I went here in January 2021, and I've never had such a positive experience at the dentist. (I usually dread the cleanings and the ouch). Every person I met from front to back was incredibly kind, professional, and polite. I had the most gentle cleaning of my entire life, and my normally bleeding gums barelyyyyyyyy bled at all, and I still left feeling incredibly clean. Both doctors are incredibly kind and professional and work together beautifully, as do all of their staff. I wish I hadn't had to move with the Navy so I could've continued to stay a patient of theirs. Literally the most positive medical experience I've ever had was visiting their office in the 2-3x I was living in Pensacola.

Always have had bad experiences with any and every dentist, Except here. Dr Sackheim took all the time necessary calmly and patiently with the best bed side manor. He made sure I wasn't uncomfortable or feeling anything as I've had awful experiences before. The tech as well! She rubbed my shoulder the whole time to help soothe me some. I've always hated dentist! My boyfriend has been going here since he was a kid and ensured me it would be pleasant, but it was beyond that! An amazing place to get your teeth fixed or just any general dental health. They are the best! Dont hesitate, wish I had gone sooner!

Excellent team at Sackheim Dental! Highly recommend. From the the front desk with scheduling, to the doctors and their staff, they are truly the best! They went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter for her procedure and were incredibly patient and kind with the services performed. Can't say enough great things about our experience and their top notch service!

10/18/2019 was the 4 year anniversary of the dental procedure that changed my life. Dr Lara, with intermittent assistance from Dr Will, spent 9 HOURS repairing the teeth that were damaged in my 2011 car accident. I had been ejected from a vehicle, and suffered blunt force trauma to my face. Dr Lara performed 4 root canals, several fillings, and 6 in-house crowns. I had been hiding my ugly, cracked teeth for 4 years, and I left the office with a smile I could be proud of! And no more pain from damaged, infected teeth! I feel like a happier, more confident person every single day because of the Sackheim's. I have been to see them with every dental need since then, for myself and my kids, and I'll continue to do so for as long as they'll have us. Here's to 4 years, Sackheim Dental thank you for everything

The staff here are really GREAT ! Today was my 1st time going and I will be going back in the future ! I will really impressed with the services they are really affordable and did I mention the Dentist and Staff are EXCELLENT ! I just had my crown replaced here, not only did they do it all in one day it only took a couple hours from removing my old one and replacing it with a new one, Dr. Sackheim and his crew did a fantastic job. I could not be more pleased. I would recommend this dentistry group to everyone. Very polite, funny, and personable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and/ or outcome. Thanks again Dr. Sackhiem and crew, you're by far the best dentistry group out of the 16 I've been to in my lifetime!!!
