Dr. Gentile is a general dentist who has special focus on implant dentistry , cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics as well as comprehensive dental care. As a graduate from New York University College of Dentistry in 1988, he took advanced Periodontal training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
As a member of the Suffolk County Dental Society and the American Dental Association since 1988, Dr Gentile stays up to date on all the advanced technology and techniques that improve the quality of dental care. As a partner of Sachem Dental Group since 1991 he has helped expand the services the dental practice provides. By providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment and allowing access to this care in a cost effective manner Dr. Gentile feels Sachem Dental Group appeals to a large segment of the surrounding communities. Dr. Gentile has been a resident of Suffolk County for over 30 years and he routinely gives back to the communities with his relationships with Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, New York University College of Dentistry, and St. Anthonys High School. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf, softball and bowling. Dr. Gentile is married with four children.
Dr. Philip Mazzola is a partner at Sachem Dental Group and a general dentist with particular interest in prosthetics and implant dentistry. He approaches the practice of dentistry with great enthusiasm and strives to provide his patients with the highest quality care and most advanced techniques available. Teeth tomorrow has been a perfect addition to the complete range of restorative and specialty services offered at Sachem Dental Group.
Dr. Mazzola completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002 with minor concentrations in fixed prosthodontics and endodontics. While in Buffalo, Dr. Mazzola was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the highly selective national dental honor society. Following dental school, Dr. Mazzola completed a general practice residency at VAMC in Northport, NY. during his time at the VA, Dr. Mazzola gained extensive training in implant and comprehensive full mouth restorative dentistry as well as becoming well versed in treating the medically complex patient.
Dr. Mazzola has been practicing with Sachem Dental Group since 2003. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Mazzola has lived on Long Island his entire life, and his favorite times are spent with his family. Dr. Mazzola has two children.
Dr. Blank earned his Bachelors of Science degree at Binghamton University in 2006 and graduated NYU College of Dentistry in 2011. He completed his residency at Kings County Hospital where he was awarded Resident of the Year. Dr. Blank started working with Sachem Dental Group in 2012.
Dr. Blank has been interested in the health field long before becoming a dentist. His first ever job was working for the Nassau County Health Department helping stop the sale of tobacco products to underage teens. He also worked as a lifeguard and an EMT before entering the dental field. His interest in dentistry started long before he even applied to dental school. He grew up watching his father, an oral surgeon, be so passionate about dentistry and knew that the dental field was for him when he grew up.

The friendly staff welcomes everyone with warmth and a smile. I do have a fear of going to the dentist. But Dr. Comanducci enters the room with his professional manorialism and warmth greeting that helps settle my nerves. I have been going to Sachem Dental Group in Selden for approximately 5 years. Why? Because I have gone to many dentists throughout the years. I never found a dental office like them. For the rest of my life I will continue to go to SDG for all my dental needs. Don't waste your time going to this place 3 years I've been dealing with these Incompetent people on a bill that the billing department obviously isn't trained to do the job they need this women and hire someone that can actually do the job correctly

I was in pain for all of the night didn't sleep due to a decayed molar. 36 hours no sleep and I called up this location to schedule and appointment. They made room for me same day everyone of the staff from Dr. Commanducci to his nurses to the front desk staff were absolutely amazing and calming and reassuring. The oral surgeon wasn't at that location to perform the extraction today but they saw what I was going through called their other location where she was located and put me in but also numed me in the office before sending me there to give me some relief in the meantime. I can say I haven't been to a dentist in a long time but after what I experienced today between both this office and the Nesconset office I will be taking better care of dental health and going more often! Thank you !!

I have a bridge which came loose. My regular Dentist had surgery, Sachem Dental Group was right next door. They told me that I needed an implant, I saw the surgeon, he never took the time to go into details, just told me that I need a temporary denture on that side of my mouth. Another Dentist took the impression, I was given a price of $600. When the denture was finished, he put it in, never adjusted the fit & the bill came to be $800. The denture did not fit right the teeth are smaller than my regular teeth on the other side & I have sores on my gums when I wear it too long. I never went back nor did I pay the remaining $200. Sachem Dental Group is a multi Dentist facility, they have multiple locations, therefor the Dentists are stressed for time & cannot spend a lot of time with a patient. I will not have them do the implant. My regular Dentist is back & he already recommended someone. All in all, bad service & workmanship.

Rude staff, Over priced. Finished my appointment for wisdom tooth pain and was told I was going to get a consultation for an extraction quick before I left and I waited an additional hour before oral surgeon saw me. Also a very rude and apathetic regarding pain after surgery

If you want the best, Sachem Dental Group in Selden is it. Doctor Grammenos is the most professional dentist we have ever been to. Doctor Grammenos cares deeply and has always been extremely gentle and caring. Maggie who works with Doctor Grammenos is a very caring assistant who has always been extremely nice and always makes you feel welcome. Up front when you come in you will be met by two of our family's favorites, Shawn and Lorraine, both of these two young ladies are phinominel. Evone the office manager has always been easy to work with when the money was tight. She also cares about everybody who walks in to Sachem Dentel. Thank you to everyone who works here. Durring these stressful times with the coronavirus Sachem dental has always gone above and beyond any services we have received. Just wish we could give ten stars. Thank you for getting me today on such short notice after one of my teeth broke in half.

NICE GROUP OF PEOPLE IN OFFICE AND MEDICAL STAFF EXCELLENT. IT WAS TOO BAD THEY DID NOT TAKE MEDICAID INSURANCE SO TO COMPLETE THE SERVICES I NEEDED... YET, CURRENTLY I'M SEARCHING FOR A WAY TO BE ABLE TO PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES.
