Dr. Gentile is a general dentist who has special focus on implant dentistry , cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics as well as comprehensive dental care. As a graduate from New York University College of Dentistry in 1988, he took advanced Periodontal training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
As a member of the Suffolk County Dental Society and the American Dental Association since 1988, Dr Gentile stays up to date on all the advanced technology and techniques that improve the quality of dental care. As a partner of Sachem Dental Group since 1991 he has helped expand the services the dental practice provides. By providing quality dental care in a comfortable environment and allowing access to this care in a cost effective manner Dr. Gentile feels Sachem Dental Group appeals to a large segment of the surrounding communities. Dr. Gentile has been a resident of Suffolk County for over 30 years and he routinely gives back to the communities with his relationships with Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, New York University College of Dentistry, and St. Anthonys High School. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf, softball and bowling. Dr. Gentile is married with four children.
Dr. Philip Mazzola is a partner at Sachem Dental Group and a general dentist with particular interest in prosthetics and implant dentistry. He approaches the practice of dentistry with great enthusiasm and strives to provide his patients with the highest quality care and most advanced techniques available. Dr. Mazzola completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002 with minor concentrations in fixed prosthodontics and endodontics. While in Buffalo, Dr. Mazzola was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the highly selective national dental honor society. Following dental school, Dr. Mazzola completed a general practice residency at VAMC in Northport, NY. during his time at the VA, Dr. Mazzola gained extensive training in implant and comprehensive full mouth restorative dentistry as well as becoming well versed in treating the medically complex patient.
Dr. Mazzola has been practicing with Sachem Dental Group since 2003. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Mazzola has lived on Long Island his entire life, and his favorite times are spent with his family. Dr. Mazzola has two children.
Dr. Blank earned his Bachelors of Science degree at Binghamton University in 2006 and graduated NYU College of Dentistry in 2011. He completed his residency at Kings County Hospital where he was awarded Resident of the Year. Dr. Blank started working with Sachem Dental Group in 2012.
Dr. Blank has been interested in the health field long before becoming a dentist. His first ever job was working for the Nassau County Health Department helping stop the sale of tobacco products to underage teens. He also worked as a lifeguard and an EMT before entering the dental field. His interest in dentistry started long before he even applied to dental school. He grew up watching his father, an oral surgeon, be so passionate about dentistry and knew that the dental field was for him when he grew up.
