Heather admits that her smile always made her self-conscious. As a child she was picked on, the kids were mean, she recalls. In addition to the esthetic shortcomings of her smile, the gaps between her teeth caused a lisp. Needless to say, she was embarrassed and insecure. Heather refused to smile for pictures.
As an adult, Heather finally decided to do something about what she saw as her biggest cosmetic imperfection. Heather recalls this is something she always wanted to do since Middle School. She gave serious consideration to correcting her smile for over a year, consulting with various dentists, but she wasnt quite ready. With her husbands support and coaxing, she decided to move forward and pursue her dream of a beautiful smile.
The treatment plan was established - the gum tissue needed a new shape to allow the crowns to have better dimension and a natural appearance. In addition, baby teeth were still present where adult teeth failed to form. We needed a long-term tooth replacement solution. Dental implants were placed and gingival contouring was performed. After healing, her restorative dentist made custom porcelain crowns for upper and lower teeth.
Today youd hardly recognize the new Heather. While the same kind, fun person exists, her new smile not only has given her the much desired confidence she used to lack, but the motivation to start working out and getting in shape. Laura, the dental assistant who worked alongside from the start commented, When I last saw her she had a new haircut, a tan and was in shape, it was amazing, she looked great!
Dental problems do not have to mean continued embarrassment over an esthetic deficit, loss of function, or replacement with older techniques such as bridges or dentures. Implant dentistry and state-of-the-art cosmetic procedures have revolutionized dentistry.

Great place. Had a crown and had no pain. Been going here for over 20 years. I would highly recommend them. Again went for a filling and the staff was great. Everyone from Dr. Sachdev, to the hygienist, the dental assistant and the receptionists. And to be honest, I have a small mouth.

S&H Dentistry continued to be awesome like always. My experiences could not be any better, both professionally and personally. Fantastic dental hygienists!! In the past my gums have been sore for days after cleaning, and the whole time I'd be gripping the chair, tense for the pain as I have sensitive gums. No pain at all! I actually got super relaxed! Dr. Sachdev said my teeth were beautiful. Another great visit to Sachdev and Hogan Dentistry. :)

I've been a customer of this dentistry for over 30 years. The doctors and everyone in the office are the most professional and caring individuals. They have always exceeded my expectations. My family has been going to see Hogan for a very long time, and when Sachdev came in we started seeing him as well. They are both awesome! I've never had a bad experience, Sachdev is very descriptive and makes sure you know and understand what's going on in your mouth before proceeding. You won't leave here with questions! All of the hygienists (Jeannette is who I've seen since I was little so she is a personal favorite) are so kind and easy going. The front desk staff goes over and beyond in order to make you feel welcome and like part of the family. I highly recommend this practice for any and all of your dental needs!

We loved Dr. Sachdev when he was in Pittsboro, NC. When he left we sought him out in Burlington. He and his staff are extremely kind and really care about their clients. My aging mom has a lot of dental issues and they always are friendly and accommodating. She is a nervous dental patient, they put her at ease and always consider what is best for her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hogan for 40+ years. He makes sure his patients get the best possible care. My visit today went extremely well. I was greeted by a polite and courteous office staff. Jeannette, my hygienist, greeted me promptly for my checkup and cleaning She did her usual very thorough job cleaning my teeth Overall, my visit went extremely well. I highly recommend Dr Hogan's dental practice.
