I was impressed by how uncomfortable to hygenist made me feel. Not a kind person. Uptight, unfriendly. Treated me poorly. I didn't get my teeth cleaned and will be finding a new dentist. I just don't have time, as many of us don't, to deal with an unkind, unwelcoming healthcare provider.

Dentist Michael Allen publicly admits on TikTok that he makes people bleed on purpose "with sharp instruments" and then tells them it's because they don't floss enough. How terrible!

Really like Dr. Allen but after waiting 3 months for an appointment we were called and told they had to reschedule as the doctor was going to be out of the office that day. I was then told that they can't reschedule us for 2 more months. Sad to go but we are moving on to another dentist who can see our family in a timely manner.

A true surfers dentist lol. My family and I are so happy to have found this place. Coming from a person with anxiety around dentist I'm normally at ease after a few minutes. The energy of this dentist office is great, understanding, caring and respectful. I have found when it comes to children they are great. In general I have found that Dr.Allen isn't eager to do unnecessarily potentially invasive treatments unlike a former dentist I have been to with children. Great bedside manner. Glad to have a dentist we can trust with our family.

I have been going to Dr. Michael Allen for years! He is so good at his craft! Very positive attitude, staff is awesome! My teeth look amazing and have never been healthier! I actually enjoy going to the dentist now! He is very good at dentistry and I would highly recommend him to anybody!

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Allen's for over a year now. I have had many dentists over the years and he is, by far, the best I have ever had! I have a fear of getting work done and he, and his staff, are always gentle and understanding. My husband also has started going to him. We are both very pleased with his skill level and professionalism. The dental hygienists are fabulous. I love the vibe and the office staff is amazing. If you are looking for a dentist who is competent, kind and caring this is the office for you!

Dr. Allen is by far the best dentist I've been to. He gives his honest opinion about treatment options and does not push unnecessary treatment plans. He genuinely cares about his patients.

Michael Allen is a nice fellow but a surprisingly incompetent dentist. Filling cavities successfully ought to be routine for a dental professional--I had eight "filled" by this dentist and the result was chronic teeth pain the likes of which I've never before experienced. I went back for an "adjustment" and the result was even worse pain. I ought to sue for malpractice but hope instead this honest review will cost him business. This "professional" practice also blares tasteless, streaming contemporary pop music (sometimes with vulgar lyrics) into every room throughout the workday. Once, when I was in the chair for a cleaning , this dental "professional"--who has a large family with all of ITS demands--bragged about his youth of womanizing (to the obvious disgust of his female assistant--she no longer works there). Does Michael Allen sound like your kind of dentist?

I'm very disappointed. I was looking forward to making this our family dentist office. I had read some nice reviews of Dr Allen and enjoyed some of his hilarious videos. But this review is not about Dr Allen, but his office staff...which as a whole, is important to consider when choosing a family dental office. I called in September to schedule an appointment for myself, my daughter and my husband. I had a very pleasant conversation with the scheduling person [I wrote her name down at the time of making the appointment, but I'm still searching for it]. She was very pleasant and even though I would need to wait two (2) months to get onto the schedule, I decided it would be fine. I got my husband scheduled first...he needed an evening appointment due to work. He got scheduled and we moved on to the appointment for myself and my daughter (5yo). My appointment would be 1.5 hours and hers would be 1 hour. She got us scheduled, however her system crashed as she was trying to save the appointment. She apologized, but assured me that she would fix the issue on her end and happily ended the call with "See you in December!" I had been looking forward to getting established again at a dental office, but found it odd that I didn't receive a follow up reminder call...but figured it could be due to COVID-19. I called and left a message for the staff, but their office opens late on Wed, so when I showed up to their office they said, "I just listened to your voice message and we do not have you on the schedule". I was confused since I had the specific times marked off my calendar. They confirmed my husband was scheduled, but both my daughter and I were not. They had everything except our schedule then made a condescending remark "Perhaps I needed to call them back to confirm." Excuse me? I didn't realize that you are incompetent in scheduling new patience that I needed to follow up on your job...but okay. They told me that their next availability is in February...another 2 months? Thanks no... I already wasted 2 months waiting to be seen, scheduled time off work to come to the office for no reason...and although she was "nice", she was condescending? Uh, nope! I'm sure I will find a dentist office that has the full package...a good dentist and competent staff.

I have enjoyed going here, but have decided to go to another dentist for the simple fact that I'm not able to see them for an appointment in a timely matter. You guys should really think about expanding or hiring additional staff.

Dr. Allen and his entire staff are so welcoming and professional. I have the worst history in regards to dentists and their work/integrity (root canals, onlays, and fillings). I can say in all honesty that Dr. Allen is the best. Don't hesitate to book your appointment!

I have had negative experiences working for a visiting a couple small businesses here in Tucson. There is a stigma there...lack of concern for employees and curtness with clients...and it's true. HOWEVER...Sabino Hills SHATTERS all of these stereotypes and is BY FAR the BEST small business and dental office in Tucson! I can say that with extreme confidence. I am deathly afraid of dentist visits, and I was comfortable and happy the entire time I was there on my most recent visit. Well done to all and please keep up the good work!
