Jason Schepis, DMD Dr. Jason Schepis completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University before attending dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed additional training each year to stay current with the most recent advances in dental care, and has received advanced training for implant dentistry, ClearCorrect, and BOTOX. Additionally, Dr. Schepis developed and patented the HydroPulse Whitening Flosser. He has also been the team dentist for the New York Giants, the New Jersey Devils, the New York Red Bulls and the Seton Hall Pirates.
As a dentist, Dr. Schepis is committed to providing a dental office where his patients can feel at home and comfortable, and where they can achieve the best possible oral health through education and high-quality, gentle care. He is dedicated to helping each patient achieve their esthetic goals through a treatment plan that caters to their needs and desires.
Dr. Schepis and his wife have two children, one daughter and one son. Outside of the office, his favorite activity is spending time with his wife, children and extended family at LBI (Long Beach Island).
Shyam Shah, DMD Dr. Shyam Shah graduated from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He finished his general practice residency at Monmouth Medical Center and then went on to complete a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Rutgers University and University Hospital, a level one trauma center. Currently, Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, which is New Jerseys only dental school. At the dental school, he works alongside internationally renowned faculty, is involved in research, and mentors dental students and dental residents. Through his many roles at the dental school, and by frequently taking continuing education courses, he is able to stay at the forefront of recent developments in dentistry.
Dr. Shah also serves as one of the team dentists for the New Jersey Devils NHL Hockey Team. Born and raised in New York, Dr. Shah has been a hockey fan since he was a young boy attending New York Rangers games with his father. He is honored to expand his scope of practice to Sports Dentistry while continuing to practice general dentistry for the North Jersey community. In his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys photography, swimming and traveling with his wife.
Dr. Shah has been a part of the S Dental & Specialties team since 2020 and is committed to providing high-quality compassionate care in a professional setting with an emphasis on honest communication between the doctor and the patient. He believes that prevention and education are important steps in encouraging patients to optimize their oral health. I found the ad for this dentist on Tiktok believe or not. The customer service is amazing. I personally delt with Michelle and Angie I believe her name was. I would definitely recommend this dentist to everybody I know. Thank you again for all the information I recieved as well as how comfortable you all made me feel.

As a very fearful patient, I am happy to report that seeing Dr. Schepsis and Dr. Shah has been amazing- way better than I expected! Every person on the staff is very friendly and more than accommodating... I am very happy to have found a dentist that I absolutely love! I highly recommend this office!

I have been going to this practice for 45 years, started when Dr. Gardy ran the practice and still going with Dr. Schepis now running it. Would never think of going anywhere else. They were already covering everything they touch when I was a kid and still follows that practice.Dr. Schepis and staff are fantastic and I highly recommend this dental office!

Dr. Schepis and the staff are very diligent, understanding, and patient. He is thorough and ensures that your mouth(not only your teeth) is well cared for at each visit. My family is treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The boys enjoy seeing his collection in his private office. They are treated like his own. Getting excellent dental care is essential to good overall health! I appreciate a family-friendly dentist whose staff is always happy! If they're happy, I know my visit will be comfortable and positive. I pray he and his staff continue on this positive, caring path. Thanks for being personable and genuinely concerned about our family outside of the dental visits!

Maria, the dental hygienist, is awesome! She makes teeth cleanings & X-rays so pleasant. She's very conscious of the comfort level of her patients & checks in to make sure you are ok. Maria does a meticulous & thorough job. Dr. Schepis is top notch too.
