I made an appointment and confirmed it. The office called and we spoke about my insurance and I explained that it will be taken care of before I come in to the assistant. After we spoke I received a text confirming my appointment, following that I received 4 more calls. About the appointment. Please do not call patients that many times to confirm an appointment. One of those times I was on set and the phone rang during filming. Embarrassing for the call, just to confirm something I've already confirmed 3 times already. Next I came in on my appointment day and the tech at the desk was very contentious with how she was speaking to me telling me that I needed to respond to her many calls and that, because if that I had to pay cash for my visit. I didn't argue, I simply stated that my inside is up to date. Instead of checking it, she wanted to argue about me not responding to her many calls. I asked again was she sure I'm not covered and she repeated that I was not, so I left the office. I immediately called my insurance company and they reassured me that I was covered. When I got home, I called the office to inform them of their mistake and was put on hold. At this point I can assume that the ladies at the desk was not going to admit they were wrong about my coverage and didn't call back to make another appointment. My take on this whole issue was that instead of the tech taking the benefit of the doubt of my past coverage and being a returning patient that it had to be a mistake or that at the very least it would be ironed out instead of being combative with me. So I must say taking a day off for this was not the best days for me. This could have be all avoided if the young lady would have taken her emotions out of it and allowed the possibility an error to take lead. I was covered and I knew I was but couldn't trust that I would be treated any different than the treatment I was receiving by suggesting I answer my phone or pay cash. Sorry things came to an end at this office because it was my local office but I had to share my experience before I find another dentist.

It was one of the worst medical office experiences I ever had!!! I will never go back there! I went for annual teeth cleaning there because my regular office was booked for 2 months ahead. I requested the usual cleaning which includes scaling and polishing, office staff and a doctor tried to charge me out of pocket $125 for scaling like if it was not covered by my new insurance. When I refused to pay out of pocket, they just did polishing, which is not enough to keep me from getting new teeth decay. Also, the staff may seem friendly at first, becomes very argumentative and agressive if you have any disagreement with them. I had my child with me for cleaning as well, and dentist talked me into the paying out of pocket for service that should have been included in cleaning as well, as I realised after calling my insurance agent. I was super disappointed by this dental practice.

Came in back when I was twelve years old. Wouldn't let my mom in the room with me and said that they wanted to put caps on ALL of my molars when there was very clearly nothing wrong. To top it off, they wanted me, a twelve year old, to make the decision on the spot, while I was in the chair, and without my mother. Save yourself the headache and don't come here.

I cannot say enough about this office and the staff. Everybody is super friendly and caring. Dr. Shirazi is amazing and I would never ever go to another dentist. I sincerely do not like going to the dentist but since I have been a patient here, dealing with dental issues is way less nerve wrecking. Kudos for Dr. Shirazi and his staff.

I was sent to SC dental from my insurance company and couldn't be any happier. They took exceptional care of me from the front desk to the dental technicians. The dentist did a phenomenal job on the work in my mouth. He was kind and caring and went out of his way to make sure I wasn't in any pain. I gave the whole office five stars because they deserve it.

I only have good things to say about this office. I was recently in need of having 3 of my 4 wisdom teeth being pulled out. Due to Covid-19 many Dentist didn't take up on my case however after SC Dental had understood the urgency of my case they did not hesitate to get me the soonest appointment to see Dr. Shirazi. Dr. Shirazi is incredibly knowledgeable (with 30+ years of experience in the field) and will take the necessary steps to not only make sure the job gets done the right way but it happens in a smooth and painless way. More so, he is very respectful and kind towards his patients. I was fully recovered the next day and I couldn't have been more happy with the procedure. Big thank you to Tony and Brenda as well for being there at every step of the process. Dr. Shirazi thank you for opening your doors to me at a time of need! Terribly ran dentist called me for teeth cleaning and we're supposed to do wisdom teeth due to pain I walked out after 2hrs of waiting there over an hour dealing with insurance and saying my insurance does not cover anything then we call and my insurance says it's covered I was in the chair for about an hour after he told me he wouldn't do the teeth extractions only the cleaning. And still nothing got done waste of time I wouldn't come here and based off these reviews no one should.

I just waste my time. He pushed too much and I don't trust. I just went to get a simple cleaning but he refused and asked me to do something else. It was so obvious he wanted make me scared and spend a lot of money. It was the worst experience. He is a businessman definately.

In this office doctor isn't hearing you and even though you have the insurance and you explain that you want only get service which is covered, he adds extra service to get your money off the pocket. And comparing to other dentist offices even cleaning is twice expensive than others. Always try to get second opinion and be aware of necessity of services he is trying to sell you.
