Dr. Craig Stranigan was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He spent most of his childhood in western New York, only to return to Florida for college. He attended the University of Miami and Stetson University.He received his dental degree atthe University of Florida- College of Dentistry.
After finishing college in 1989, Dr. Stranigan chose to establish his practice in Port Saint Lucie. He attends numerous continuing education classesfor implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry to stay abreast with the latest advances in modern dentistry. Dr. Stranigan is the past president of the Treasure Coast Dental Society and is a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Stranigan loves spending time with and travelingwith his wife Jami, and their twin daughters, Savannah and Sydney. He also enjoys golf, fishing and boating. He has a true passion for anything related to aviation.
Ryan Askeland, DMD is a Florida native, born and raised in the Fort Lauderdale area.He attended the University of Florida for both his Undergraduate and Dental degrees.Dr Askeland has a strong family history in dentistry, benefiting from years of collaboration with his father, brother and wife who are all dentists.He and his family moved to the Treasure Coast in 1998 and are proud of the roots they have established here for over 20 years.
Dr. Askeland maintains a solid foundation in family dentistry with a strong focus in comprehensive cosmetic and implant restorative dentistry. Realizing that the practice of dentistry is in a constant state of change, he is committed to keeping pace. Dr. Askeland attends numerous continuing education seminars both on a local and national level. He has been a member of the Sailfish Study Club since 2001, which hosts a variety of internationally known speakers discussing the latest advances in dentistry.
In addition to general dentistry, Dr Askeland has also found a passion for helping patients who suffer from sleep disordered breathing.Among the many factors affecting sleep, Sleep Apnea is a major concern affecting millions of people.Dr Askeland has devoted countless hours in continuing education studying dental sleep medicine and is dedicated to screening and treating patients suffering from this potentially life-threatening disease.
Dr. Askelands dedication to his profession is evident through his deep commitment and continuing involvement in organized dentistry. Memberships include the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association and Treasure Coast Dental Society. He has served in many capacities throughout the local and state levels as well as Peer Review Chair for St. Lucie County.
Dr. Askeland and his wife, Jenny are the proud parents of three wonderful children who keep them very busy.They all enjoy diving, fishing and cruising throughout the Bahamas in the summertime and heading out West to ski and snowboard during Spring Break.He is also an avid golfer and distance runner, having completed 11 marathons and counting.
Dr. (Stephen) Brent Harris was born in VA Beach, VA. As the younger of two sons to a NCIS Special agent, he spent the better part of his childhood living abroad in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean followed by time on both coasts of the United States. After attending high schools in California, Maryland, and finally in Florida, Brent graduated from Satellite Beach High School on Floridas Space Coast. As the perpetual new kid on the block, he became quick to introduce himself, and to this day his dental team can attest to his excitement in conversation and storytelling.
Dr. Harris completed his Undergraduate training in three years at Florida Institute of Technology, and in 1997 he entered as the youngest student in the Charter Dental School Class at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine. During his second year at NSU Dental, he took a commission as an officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, and following graduation, completed a general practice residency at Naval Hospital San Diego. As a Navy Officer, Lieutenant Harris served on the island of Guam and traveled with the Navy throughout Asia and Micronesia. Being a third generation military man, Brent takes great pride in his service, and is the proud father of two children, both of which were born on the island of Guam.
In 2005, Dr. Harris joined S.A.H. Dentistry, where he has built a strong practice with a focus on comprehensive restorative dentistry and dental implant surgery. He has served as a Key Opinion leader for major dental technology companies, has published numerous articles, and has lectured extensively throughout the Country on CAD CAM Dentistry and the digital workflow. Dr. Harris continues to strive to utilize the most advanced dental technologies to deliver the highest quality of work, and to give his patients the most optimal overall experience.
Dr. Harris served two terms as the president of the Port Saint Lucie Sunset Rotary Club. He believes in the constant pursuit of new skills and is excited to discover unique places, meet interesting people, and create things by hand, be it knives, paintings or jewelry. Nomadic by nature, hes a family man who travels to chase waves, play in the snow and capture, cook and eat wild game from both land and sea. Dr. Harris approaches life as vigorously and with as much adventure, artistry and kindness possible, which can be seen throughout his work and leadership at S.A.H. Dentistry.
She received her bachelors degree from College of the Ozarks in Human and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After finishing her bachelors degree, she moved to Kansas City and assisted in an oral surgeons office. She then attended the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry for her dental degree.
Dr. Humble is very excited to be joining the team at S.A.H. Dentistry and looks forward to years of future success. She has a passion for treating families and strives to always form personal relationships with her patients. She prides herself on making sure that her patients are comfortable and are fully informed of their dental needs and is always open to any questions that they may have. She is dedicated to continuing education to ensure she provides the most cutting edge treatment and is a part of numerous dental societies.
Dr. Humble loves being outdoors. She enjoys being out on the water, hiking, playing tennis, and volleyball. She loves taking her mini Bernedoodle, Marnie, to the beach. Dr Humble has a desire to travel the world to learn about new places and cultures. Family is an important value to her, and she has a niece and nephew back home in Missouri.
