Dr. Art W. Ryder was born in Albany, Georgia, on August 26, 1951. He moved to the North Georgia area when he was 6, and was raised there. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 1973. He has a B.S. Degree in Mathematics. He was then accepted to the Medical College of Georgia Dental School and graduated from there in 1976.
He met his wife Kelly, a Bishop Moore and UCF graduate, here in Orlando. They married and have 2 children. Both children also graduated from Bishop Moore. Eva is graduate of the University of Miami and is currently attending Medical School at The University of Sydney, Australia. Sam is a graduate of Stetson University where he played on the varsity golf team and is currently pursuing a professional golf career.

I went to this dentist as a child. Now as an adult I called to get a quote. I spoke with Tina at first who wasn't so kind to me so I decided to end the conversation. I called back hoping to get another person. I got the supervisor Beth. I told her I was upset and not having the greatest experience. She told me "then maybe you shouldn't come here anymore" and then hung up on me. This left me pretty hurt obviously because this used to be part of my childhood. Thought people might want to know about this before sending their child there...

All i can say is thank you Doctor Ryder you are an amazing Dentist .You did a good job with my teeth and all the stuff are beautiful and amazing nice .I highly recommend this Place.

He's the best! Super personable, knowledgeable, and does not push you to do anything you don't have to do (some other dentists love to upsell and push orthodontics onto you). My whole family goes to him and we love it!

I have been going to Dr. Ryder since I moved from Australia -- almost 12 or so years ago! Everyone is so kind and friendly in the office! Thanks to Dr. Ryder I have a fabulous smile and so does the rest of my family. Not only does Dr. Ryder and his staff take amazing care of my teeth, he was also able to spot a complication with my jaw that no other dentist saw. I was able to get it taken care of in my teens because he found it, otherwise I could have had complications as I got older. My fiance will be moving from Europe soon and you better believe we will continue coming to Dr. Ryder, the best dentist around!

I've heard Dr. Ryder was an excellent dentist by family and friends. Unfortunately, my wife scheduled a new patient visit with them waited 4 months for an appointment only to be told the office does not accept our insurance (Humana) on the day of the appointment. Usually this is something handled far in advance to avoid such disappointment. Be sure to make sure they accept your insurance when booking an appointment.
