A central goal of our office is to create comfort and trust. Trust is essential to good dental care. We want you to be able to ask us questions if you have them, and to trust that you are getting thoughtful, well informed, personally tailored answers.

Dr. Ryan Perrys community roots run deephe has lived in Baton Rouge all his life. As an elementary and junior high student, he attended both St. Thomas Moore and St. Aloysius schools, and then on to Catholic High School.

Dr. Perry pursued both his undergraduate and DDS degrees at Louisiana State University. He excelled in school and was selected as his classs recipient of the P. Sidney Neuwirth Scholarship for operative dentistry. He is a charter member of the Louisiana Chapter of the Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity.

Professionally, Dr. Perry is an active member of the dental community. He is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, Continuing Dental Education of Baton Rouge, Louisiana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He has completed extensive dental implant training with MDI and Zimmer, and implant coursework at the University of Minnesota.

His treatment philosophy is conservative. He will never pressure you into treatment that you are not comfortable with. He will take the time to talk over all of your options with you, and we will all work hard to make sure the solution fits your situation and your budget.

If you are in pain, Baton Rouge emergency dentist Dr. Perry will see you today. If you are suffering, dont delay your treatment in the hopes that it will just get better by itself. In the case of dental issues, it rarely does. The pain may eventually go away, but the infection doesnt, and it gets more entrenched and complicated to treat.

A dental emergency is an urgent issue with your tooth or oral tissue caused by trauma, infection, or a broken or loose restoration. Sometimes blunt force trauma results in broken, chipped, or knocked-out teeth. Or a dental emergency can arise from an infection that has developed into an abscess.

If you have a dental emergency, what can you do at home? These first aid tips will help you maximize your chances for a good outcome when you arrive at our office. These steps could mean the difference between saving and losing your traumatized tooth.

Being careful not to remove any attached tissue, gently rinse the knocked-out tooth. If it is not too painful, gently and carefully replace the tooth in the socket and hold it in place while you travel to our office. If this is not possible, place the tooth in a glass of milk and get here as soon as you can.

As a treatment option for replacing missing teeth, dental implants are second to none. If you are missing a single tooth, a dental implant can be an excellent choice. If you wear dentures, dental implants can help you avoid a debilitating condition called facial collapse.

First, the root form is surgically implanted in the jaw bone. During a period of healing (called osseointegration), the bone of the jaw grows tightly around the root form. This healing process is usually several weeks, though it may vary from person to person.

Increasingly sophisticated techniques for root form placement continue to decrease the time required for healing. Root form placement is also part of the implant process most vulnerable to error. You can have confidence in Dr. Perrys extensive dental implant training and meticulous attention to protocols.

  • If you are missing a tooth in the very back of your mouth, any kind of removable appliance will likely be unstable and uncomfortable. A dental implant is almost always the best choice for replacing a missing back molar.

For Dr. Ryan Perry and staff, five stars is not enough. They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Greeted with a smile first by Helen, then by all, makes for a friendly, chill atmosphere. The office and patient stations are clean and fresh. Chelsea, my hygienist, also greets me with a smile and engaging conversation picking up from my last visit. She is able to thoroughly clean my teeth, while asking questions and giving time for me to respond. I haven't felt rushed and actually found the time passes quickly. If you are looking for a quality dentist and team of skilled hygienists, I recommend Dr. Ryan Perry.
