I am a leading dentist in complete health, the movement that is driving to listen to, understand, and educate patients that the mouth is quite possibly the most important indicator of total body health and well-being. I have assembled a team of highly-talented people dedicated to care for patients in a way that is different than ever before with the ultimate goal of complete health.
In 2018, I was honored to be recognized as a Leading Dentist in Complete Health for my teams focus on the oral-systemic link and its connection to disease processes commonly found with the dental population.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Miami University in 2001 in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management. I spent two years working as an engineer in manufacturing before realizing that reducing costs and improving processes was not the way I wanted to spend my life. Looking at options for a career change, I decided that dentistry was the best choice to allow me to solve problems on a daily basis, while helping people get better and feel better about themselves. I graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007.
I met my wife, Danielle, during our freshman year at Miami University and we have been together ever since. We were married in 2001 and have three children, Lane, Graham, and Sloane. We love food and wine and traveling to find inventive, creative cuisine and exciting dining experiences. I am an avid golfer, and I volunteer my time with non-profit organizations in our community.

This small camera sends images of your mouth to a monitor so you can see the same tooth-by-tooth view we see and help you make more informed decisions. The Intraoral Camera helps you take an active role in your dental care.
These are cavities that digital x-rays and explorer tools do not find. With over 90% accuracy, the technology identifies teeth that show signs of a cavity and enable us to protect them to avoid the development of the cavity altogether. The Diagnodent Caries Detector requires no scratching and is simple, fast, and painless.
The software helps us locate dental decay that is unseen by the human eye. When decay is caught early, we can often implement treatment to remineralize the tooth. If a cavity is detected, treating these areas while they are small allows us to retain much more of the natural tooth. The Logicon Caries Detection Software is sensitive enough to detect the early onset of a cavity and allows us to monitor it over a period of time. It also helps to distinguish between true cavities and other artifacts to prevent the misdiagnosis of healthy teeth.

Very clean up to date office with professional friendly technicians and Drs.Their equipment is 21st century. Over the past years, I have had fillings, cleanings, and crowns. Very satisfied with this group and their work.

I am terrified of the dentist!! I needed a very deep cleaning. They made sure I felt no pain, scheduled plenty of time to complete it. Talked to me the entire time. You sit in a comfortable chair, tv on with headphones, a blanket and relax. I have never in my life experienced a dental office that truly cares till now! I will never go away, you guys are stuck with me for life!!

This is the kindest, most gentle staff we have experienced over the years... starting with the front desk. My whole family of 5 was seen and taken care of all under an hour- my 6 year old is always so excited to come. There is never anything they wouldn't to do take care of their patients.

I don't like going to the dentist so I wanted to find a place that was going to help me feel comfortable, manage any pain, and trust that they are experts. Dr. Walton and his team do a great job and have made my dental visits delightful instead of dreadful. A few points that I've found useful knowledge... 1) their dental assistants are Expanded Function Dental Assistants which means that they are more educated than regular DA's and I've found this to be comforting knowing that they know what they're doing and have become expert in their craft, 2) the technology and tools that Dr Walton uses are impressive and have seem to be first class, and probably one of the most important things... Dr Walton and his team really care about how you look. It's your mouth, confidence and smile we're talking about here, so it's nice to know that they recognize this and are thinking about it. If you're looking for a dentist around Akron, I'd highly recommend Dr Walton and his team.

Dr Walton has been my dentist and Lynnae Kiser my dental hygienist for the past 3 years. I have nothing but praise for them and the entire team as I always feel that I am a valued patient. Dr. Walton and the entire staff are absolutely a joy to work with. Every appointment has been on time, the front staff greets you by name upon walking in the door, and the perfection of service continues until you leave. If I tried to think of a way they could improve their service, I couldn't do it. Courtesy, attentiveness, concern and personalized professionalism are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind when I think of this facility. You can't go wrong here.
