I had a really good experience getting my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Austin. I was anxious going in there, but him and the staff made me feel comfortable. He also called me afterwards to check in on how I was doing. I would recommend going to him for wisdom teeth removal!

Before beginning your procedure, Dr. Austin takes scans and x-rays of your jaw to determine the exact location of the affected teeth. This step also allows him to identify nerves, sinuses, and other important landmarks in order to plan a safe procedure.

Some of our patients ask if they should replace their wisdom teeth with dental implants. Unlike other teeth in the mouth, wisdom teeth do not need to be replaced. Your oral function will not be compromised by the absence of third molars, so once you have healed following extraction, you need only take the best possible care of your remaining teeth.

However, when it comes to any other teeth that are lost or extracted, Dr. Austin suggests replacing them. Gaps and spaces can lead to shifting, which can result in an unbalanced bite over time. If you are missing teeth due to decay, gum disease, or other issues, ask your dentist how dental implants and other treatments can restore your smile. We welcome patients from throughout Brigham City and surrounding communities.

Amazing at what he does! Removed wisdom teeth in under a half hour and entire procedure (sedation and recovery) took just over an hour. Professional flawless cuts and quick removal resulted in surprisingly little pain and no problems. Great staff all around!

At our offices in South Ogden and Brigham City, our prices are very competitive. Also, we only charge a single flat fee for implant treatment, which covers an initial consult, a CT scan, the implant itself, and the abutment. There are no surprise charges with us.

Some dental and medical insurance plans may contribute towards a portion of implant treatment. Our experienced team can help you make sense of your policy and maximize your benefits. For costs that are not covered by insurance, we can help you secure financing through CareCredit. We also offer discounts to patients who choose to pay with cash.

While the upfront costs associated with dental implants may be higherthan those of traditional dental restorations, the long-term benefits and durability of implants can actually save you money in the long run.If you have any questions about the costs of this form of dentistry, please contact us today.

Living in a small town, Im used to traveling to see a specialist. Im so grateful my dentist recommended Dr. Ryan Austin! He has an office on the south end of Brigham City. They were able to get me in quickly and I was so impressed with the whole team. My surgery went great and Dr. Austin called my that night to check on me. When I had questions later during the next week I was able to text him and he responded promptly. He is careful and thorough. He is also kind and personable. I definitely recommend him to anyone! Thank you to the team there who made my surgery day, not so scary.

Dr. Austin will strategically place the titanium posts, which serve as replacement tooth roots, into the prepared sites. We offer many different kinds of implants, so we'll be able to choose the perfect option for your situation. The incisions will then be closed with sutures.

Patients considering dental implants must be in good overall health and should not have any medical conditions that could make surgery a risk. Individuals should also be free from extensive tooth decay or gum disease, as these issues can have a negative impact on the success of treatment.

If you do not have sufficient bone tissue to support implants, Dr. Austin can perform a bone grafting procedure at ouroral surgery practices in Brigham City and South Ogden, UT. We will work with your dentist to ensure you are ready to undergo implant surgery.

A bone graft begins the process of replacing a missing tooth, restoring your confidence in your smile. Dr. Austin uses advanced grafting material and cutting-edge techniques to achieve unbeatable results.

Missing teeth cause the jawbone to deteriorate over time, changing your facial structure and making you look older than you are. A bone graft rebuilds loss tissue and prevents bone atrophy in the future, preserving your appearance.

When performed by an experienced oral surgeon, grafting creates a foundation for implants that is just as strong and successful as natural bone. Dental implants that are placed following a bone graft can last a lifetime.

This is a common dental procedure used to rebuild jaw tissue in preparation for dental implants. Missing teeth causes the jawbone to lose volume and shrink over time, resulting in bone loss. A dental implant requires a rock-solid foundation that it can fuse with and use to support restorations.

This treatment ensures that strong, high-quality bone is available for implant placement, ensuring your results will last for many years. Dr. Austin uses sophisticated techniques with your comfort in mind at all times. For patients who are anxious or would like some extra peace of mind, we offer IV sedation at a reasonable cost at our dental offices in South Ogden and Brigham City.

Awesome doctor. Obviously he knows what he is doing but on top of it, he is a great communicator and makes sure you feel good about what he is doing. He always checks in before the procedure to review the gameplan for the visit to ensure 1. You know what he will be doing and 2. It is what you, as the patient, were planning on and expecting so there are no surprises. He then calls you after a major procedure on same day to check in on you and let you know how it went from his professional perspective (if you were sedated)... Five star guy for sure.

Ive had Dr Austin help me out with two procedures now. He is very good at what he does. He cares about you and how your doing and it shows. I would recommend Dr Austin to anyone looking for a great oral surgeon! His staff was very good with me and explained things well. They even gave me a little refund because my insurance paid a little more than we thought. Very kind! Thanks everyone!

Dr. Austin will conduct a thorough evaluation to plan your bone grafting procedure. Because he is an oral surgeon, he has an expert understanding of the jaw, teeth, and bone, and can determine the best course of action catered to your individual case.

Dr. Austin will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions and medication to aid you during recovery. Healing usually takes a few months to complete. After the tissue has fully healed, youre ready for dental implants.

Your body recognizes the grafting material and will begin to regenerate new bone. This causes the jawbone to become stronger over time throughout the healing process. Eventually, the new bone replaces the grafting material entirely, creating a rock-solid foundation for implant placement at our South Ogden or Brigham City dental offices.

I had a Consult appointment to look at an apparent Fibromas on my inner cheek. They asked if I wanted to take care of it then, which I agreed to. I was out of the office in fifty-five minutes. The people are great to work with and friendly; they also know their jobs! I was well taken care of and enjoyed my experience.

Easy upper wisdom tooth removal, both sides. Procedure took under 20 minutes after anesthesia kicked in, felt like i blinked and left without the groggy feeling, didn't even need to sleep after. It's still day 1 so I'm sure theres worse to come, but i feel great even after the medication had worn off. Upper wisdom teeth are easier anyway, but the comfort and professionalism really puts you at ease, and i believe this surgeon has to be one of the best options i had, especially on short notice. Coolest part? Hours after the surgery i get a call from Dr. Austin himself as he's driving somewhere after business hours to make sure im doing well. I have terrible anxiety with dental work, and this was almost a fun experience. Will be recommending this professional to every single person i know needing dental surgery, thank you very much for the great turnout to what has had me freaked out for months now.

I once had a concern on a weekend and text him and he had me text pics of my concern and put my mind at ease and took care of me on his Saturday morning. Five star guy for sure.
