Dr. Taylor received his dental degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University, School of Dentistry in 2005. Shortly after graduating, he relocated to Northern Virginia and joined Dr. Grubergs dental practice. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of LDS Dentists.Dr. Taylor recently completed the Misch International Implant Institute Surgical Program and is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Taylor is committed to staying up to date with the most current treatment methods and technology, and he enjoys taking continuing education courses to further his knowledge and enhance the treatment he provides to his patients. Dr. Taylor excels in all areas of general dentistry but is especially passionate about cosmetic dentistry and improving smiles one patient at a time.
Dr. Taylor is also passionate about access to dental care for the less-fortunate. He has volunteered at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and is a long-time volunteer for the Northern Virginia Mission of Mercy. Additionally, Dr. Taylor has traveled on five humanitarian missions to Central America to provide dental services in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, and he speaks fluent Spanish. When he is not volunteering or providing exceptional care to his patients, Dr. Taylor enjoys cycling, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his family. Dr. Taylor's wife, Megan, is an attorney and together they have two young boys, Christian and Harrison.

Everyone at Dr Taylor's practice is ALWAYS SO KIND and helpful! They smile all the time and just have the brightest outlook and are always happy! Dr Taylor's practice is the BEST place to bring your mouth!

Great dental experience. Been going here for years now and both Dr. Taylor and staff are thoughtful and kind both to the patients and each other. I appreciate being able to get taken care of by them and their openness to educate me about my health and answer my questions.

This place was the best when it was owned by Dr Gruberg. When he retired and sold the practice, it went downhill FAST. The new Owner / dentist is the absolute WORST. He over charges, advises treatments that are not necessary (he did this while Gruberg was still there as well), he uses "new technology" that does not work and then blames his patients for it not working. He takes NO accountability for his business and practices. He permanently lost the business of my entire family. Save yourself the headache, there are many other better dentists in the area that will see you as a person and not just a wallet with a bobbing head. And as Barb stated, I have not been in 4 years. Maybe she wants to look at my mom's account where she told them that her flipper wasn't fitting correctly from their new scanning technology (which it did not). Thousands of dollars later, she left and went to a better dentist.

This was my first visit - my former dentist retired and a friend recommended Dr. Taylor. The receptionist was warm and friendly and made me feel like a welcome new patient. My hygienist, Jenniene ( I probably spelled her name incorrectly) was very friendly and thorough. Dr. Taylor followed up by checking g my X-rays from my former dentist and I KNEW I had found my new dentist!

Just the very best in dental care - entire team very personable and kind and efficient - always make me feel I am their most important patient - very clear instructions on how best to care for my teeth - friendly reminders of upcoming appointments - very comfortable waiting area that you spend very little time in - bright clean and spacious areas - could not be more pleased with my appointments and that I got hooked into Dr Taylor and his team - the best !

Dr Taylor is by far the best dentist in Northern Virginia. My crown came loose the day before I was to leave on vacation. He worked with his staff to work me into his schedule. Dr Taylor fixed my crown as good as new. He is gentle, thorough, and provides top notch service.

A friend told me about Ryan D. Taylor, DMD, PC in the Burke area years ago when it was known as Dr. Joseph Gruberg, DMD. If you're looking for a dental staff that won't cost you your eyeteeth, you don't need to look any further, and best of all, he and his staff are both friendly and super competent! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been going to Dr. Taylor for 14+ years and could not recommend him or his practice more. He is a very honest dentist and will give you all of your options for dental work. I like all the staff-hygienists, assistants, front desk-everyone is very friendly.

I've been going to this office since I was 4 or 5 years old so that is 30 ish years now. I am extremely thankful for the authentic care they give to all of their patients old and new. They welcomed with open arms my partner who I brought to the practice a few years ago and he is delighted with them. He had issues with other dental offices in the area and finds Dr Taylor's office refreshing and wonderful( used to be also Dr Gruberg/ Dr Taylor but Dr G retired). They are exceptionally clean and do great things to keep you safe during normal and pandemic times. They explain some of the stuff they do on their website( only like 1% of all the things they do) to help keep you safe - and some of it its really cool. The dental hygienists are very good at their job and keep it enjoyable. The front desk is so kind & helpful ( everyone is) and I've NEVER had any issue with them AND they help me by explaining this and that of what I need to submit etc. Dr Taylor is very good and catches stuff early. They never push any products or any procedures that you don't need- I love that about them. They are truly their to care for your health.If you have any dental emergency you can just give them a call and they fit me. They offer regular cleaning, dental care you know all the drilling stuff, invisaline, nightgards and more. They recommend planning your general cleaning appt 6 months out during normal times but they often have slots open. They treat all ages from little ones to seniors. I hope to continue going to Dr. Taylors office until they put me in the ground lol haha. I dont want to go anywhere else!!!!!! They have my ultimate trust.

Dr. Taylor always does an incredible job! I have had cleanings, fillings and one crown and he always goes above and beyond my expectations! Dr. Taylor and his staff are professional, communicate kindly and efficiently and really do an incredible job at what they do! I will only go here for my dental work!

Dr. Taylor is a wonderful dentist... funny, gentle, and excellent at his work. I have gone to this office for years. The entire staff is extremely friendly and efficient. I had a crown put back in place yesterday, which had popped off. Dr. Taylor and staff had it back in place in no time. I have steered many to this dental office. They are great!

As always, Dr. Ryan Taylor and staff are very professional and caring. The staff welcoming smile as you enter Dr. Taylor's clinic is indeed a feeling of comfort, most specially Jean and Barbara whose been in this office for quite a long time, as well as Tabea and the rest whose names I cannot remember. I am grateful, satisfied on Dr. Taylor's work on how he handled my cosmetic dental or denture, that looks like real. Dr. Taylor took ample time to carefully work on my implant/denture. Now I can smile with confidence.
