Dr. Ryan Baker was born and raised in San Diego, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego. He attended dental school at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) in Mesa, Arizona, where he received both his Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees.
While in dental school, Dr. Baker was involved with numerous collegiate activities. He served as class president, president of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity (Alpha Zeta Chapter) and president of the ASDOH Pediatric Dental Club.
After dental school, Dr. Baker completed a two-year post-doctoral residency at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Upon completion of the program, he was awarded a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Baker was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, which is considered one of the highest honors attainable within the dental profession with only the top 10% of the graduating class being chosen for induction.
Dr. Baker is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Society, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, San Diego County Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Society. He is also board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Rashid Kamdar is a native of Orange County who graduated from Fountain Valley High School. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, graduating with top honors and magna cum laude. He then moved to Los Angeles to start his dental career by attending UCLA dental school with a Regents Scholarship. After graduating at the top of his class with a degree of dental surgery (DDS), he wanted to further develop his esthetic skills and moved to New York to attend a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He then completed his orthodontic specialty training at the UNLV School of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He speaks Spanish as well, and we feel very fortunate that Dr. Kamdar is joining our team.
Being a Premier Invisalign provider, and having received training using proven state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Kamdar has also successfully completed the first two stages of board certification. With his thorough background he understands the importance of a healthy and attractive smile. Dr. Kamdar is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and all of their constituent societies.

My children enjoyed visiting Dr. Baker's clinic because of the friendly atmosphere and helpful personnel. He is amusing, intelligent, and professional. My children are more at ease because of the bright and colorful decor. My four children had thoroughly enjoyed themselves! He is really nice and patiently explained everything to me. I was really pleased with the service and treatment given to my children! I would strongly suggest this practice to anyone seeking exceptional dental care. This is by far the best dentist office I've ever visited with my children!

I was looking for a pediatric dentist for my child's first visit. First impression was the waiting room is nice but not equipped for toddlers. It is a family dentist meaning they also see adults so no toys or cartoons playing on the tv. The staff was nice and we got seen about 10-15 mins after our scheduled appointment time so not bad. Also, not sure if this is the norm amoung family dentistry offices but there are no rooms. Just chairs separated by a half wall. So while in the waiting room , my toddler could hear all the tools and sounds of screaming children. Which DID NOT make him more comfortable at all. I don't feel my child's teeth were adequately checked, to no fault of the doctor he seemed very nice and tried his best. But what toddler isn't going to squirmy at his first dentist visit . They did have a TV in the little "stall" we were in but it was off and no one offered to turn it on. I did however see other children in their stall with Tv and cartoons going. Maybe my expectations were too high. But i was generally expecting it to be a more kid friendly environment when in fact it just seems like a regular dentist that occasionally sees children. I'm giving 4 stars because the staff was friendly and doctor was nice and answered what little questions i did have.

This is the second dentist I have tried for my two year old and it was a great experience. The staff was very patient with him considering how afraid my son is of strangers. All that was done was a quick visual check and xrays were not pushed since we already know my son is terrified. I would def recommend.

I am so happy I found Dr Ryan Baker. He is my kids dentist and they love him. There are many dentists in Tustin and in the area but Dr Baker is a pediatric dentist which makes all the difference to me. Hes great with kids, love his dental office, my kids like him. Great find.

It was my daughter's first visit to the dentist today and Dr. Baker, Miriam, and the office staff made it a great experience for us! We had to wait outside for a bit (due to social distancing) but once we were inside they took great care of us. They let my daughter choose a show, explained each procedure to her, and even let her get prize from the treasure chest. Dr. Baker thoroughly and clearly walked through his thoughts with me at the end, which I really appreciated. As we were leaving my 2 year old said "I want to do it again!"

Dr. Ryan Baker was awesome. All the staff were super helpful and kind. Everything looked so clean and nice. Loved it, was in an out in less than an hr for an appointment for my son. They were able to make him feel comfortable and got him to cooperate. Will be coming back again!

I've been looking for a kids dentist in Tustin and I'm so happy I found dr Baker . He made sure to ask if I had any concerns with my sons teeth before he even started his exam . He explained everything step by step to my son so he didn't feel scared my son left happy and wants to come back ! Definitely recommend dr Baker !!

My kids really like Mr. Baker, he explained to them what was going to happen and why. He was very patient, as was everyone in the office with my kids while my husband and I both had our check ups!
