This dental facility is the worst. Don't go here unless you want to pay for your jaw/smile ruined. They're not affiliated with Rutgers. Took both of bottom wisdom teeth out, and now my bite and jaw has gotten worst. Also, Dr. Adache is the worst doctor as he is extremely rude and has no manners. I ended up having an infection on the left side, where the wisdom tooth was taken out. Highly suggest to go elsewhere.

They always asked for hold for long time all the time, it is pretty bad.

I consistently get billed the wrong amounts here and have to argue with them. The ladies at the front give the worst customer service in response to simplest questions, or act like I'm purposely just looking to avoid paying when I dispute a bill. Today, for example, when the lady at the front told me I owe a certain amount and I asked "why do I owe that amount," she quite literally responded: "what do you mean why?" Then, after a long attempt to figure out what amount I actually owe, she gave me two different amounts. The orthodontist and assistants, however, are quite good.

I was given a balance on my child's braces but when I went to pay I was told that the balance was incorrect and that it was double what they had given me however they still expected me to clear the "double" balance before my child could be given his retainers that day. Since I didn't have what they were asking for, they KEPT the retainers. When I finally got the balance, the retainers couldn't fit and had to get "moulds" done again- a process my child feared due to discomforts. The orthodontist told me they did me a favor for making the moulds, even though I was given a wrong balance which I was prepared to pay in full. I have been treated poorly that I will never go back or recommend anyone to go there. They did not see their wrong doing or apologized instead they made me look like I was trying to avoid making payments. Last appointment took 2 hours just to fit my child with retainers which took less than 10 minutes but we had to wait 2 hours. I would never treat anyone like they treated me and my child.

The staff said the cost was only the co-pay (about $50) and a few months later we got a bill for about thousand dollar. We call them and they said don't worry about it, they haven't submit it to the insurance company yet. Then the next month we got the same bill and they said the same thing. They kept on sending the bill and we kept on calling for over a year. My insurance was going to change so I reached out to my Workplace Insurance Rep. to ask for how it will affect me when they haven't settle the claim. My Rep said that this place messed up they put a claim on the wrong insurance; Health Insurance instead of the dental insurance and I will probable will have to pay for it. The staff there are so incompetent.

Worst place ever, Doctor is unprofessional and doesn't take in to consideration the health of the patient. Gets mad cause you feel really uncomfortable and that the procedure doesn't go through. All because his money gets affected.

Just finished 2 years of treatment with Dr. Briss and Dr Shah. They are a great team and worked hard to give me a better smile. Everything is clean and painless. Useful while I'm at RU. Parking is sometimes tough but usually ok. Everyone was like family after 2 years

I set an appointment for today 6 months ago, cleared my schedule for the afternoon. Got a confirmation email a week ago reminding me of my appointment today. Arrived today and was told I didn't have an appointment today and that my dentist was now double booked and my appointment was on the 20th now. No communication before this, no call saying unfortunately they had to reschedule me. Nope, not even the bare minimum. Showed my confirmation email to the front desk and they said they didn't know where that came from but I was mistaken. Find a different dentist. I know I am. This office won't respect you or your time. P.S. thinking more on it I shouldn't be surprised. Last time they skipped sending a claim to my insurance and tried to send me a bill instead. Had to spend 20 minutes on the phone with my dental insurance provider only to confirm "woah, what, they never even sent you guys a claim???" Extra extra: big red sign on the front door says masks required before entry but 2/3 desk staff were sitting there maskless. Rules for thee, not for me.

I do not recommend Dr Shyam Shah, my crown fell off, and find this office to try to get it back, ended up told Dr Shyam root canal procedure was not performed successfully with infection going on (even though with no pain! I can tell) I also receive the pretreatment claim from this office to evaluate the cost to perform another dental crown (on my same teeth), which I do not indicate at all we are at that stage need to evaluate whether we are gonna have another crown or not at all. I think this office visit shows me the incompetence of the diagnose and I ended avoid to do retirement of root canal and avoid to do another dental crown with huge potential cost on me! ended up find another Dentist to put my crown back and evaluated and told my root canal performed completely good.

The staff are all very nice. Dr. Adachie was very gentle with my daughter. Made sure she didn't feel any pain and the procedure was quick. I appreciate him and the ladies who assisted.

I've had a great experience through both wisdom teeth removal and jaw surgery under the care of Dr. Adachie! He's always thorough and gives clear explanations of any procedure. He answered any question throughout the healing process of my jaw surgery and was very helpful in follow up visits. I would definitely recommend this Dr!

Would not recommend Dr. Akosa. I came in because I had a chipped molar, and she told me I needed to extract the tooth and that I had 8 cavities. I went to 2 other dentists and they said I just needed a root canal and I only had 2 cavities. She gave me the cost for everything but didn't even put any temporary filling on the tooth, or explain how to keep it safe before I got it treated, unlike the other dentists. Not helpful at all.

It pains me to write this. However after Dr. Akosa cut my lip and irreparable destroyed my front tooth I felt it necessary too. Like many people when Dr. Akosa makes a mistake she gets upset. Taking that anger out on a patient is unacceptable. After what should have been a routine filling there was some over fill. Going back to get it fixed turned into a nightmare. As Dr. Akosa didn't want to admit that she messed up. Upon not trying to fix her mistake. In fact she denied it for 3 weeks! When she finally agreed to see me. She ended up grinding down my front tooth. I was horrified and shocked as was the student tech who there. Before I had the chance to say anything. Dr. Akosa called me "Buck tooth" which I assume is an insult, then she tried to gaslight me about my own teeth, before stormed out of the room in anger! THE DAMAGE SHE CAUSED IS IRREPARABLE!!!!!!!!! Save your smile and avoid at all costs!

Very unprofessional ! I waited a month for my appointment, they called to confirm it, then the next day they canceled it. Very disappointing UPDATE: I had my consultation and officially made an appointment for my tooth extraction. I called the office to ask questions about the procedure and guess what? THEY CANCELLED AGAIN ! Claiming they were "just going to call me" because the oral surgeon was going to be busy that day AGAIN. 2 days before my appointment. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional. They do not care about their patients and the front desk was inept with handling conflict. I requested my records and went to a new dentist that same day. They scheduled me with no problem. If you're looking for respect and basically decency, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I had 4 teeth removed yesterday and as nervous as I was, I am pleased with how everything went. I knew it was going to be difficult, but Dr. Tran asked for help when he needed it. This was very very reassuring. He did great and I wish him all the best with his future career.

It's a very expensive place; costs about 60% more than general market rate. They chrged us $350 for consult. It's complimentary in many places.

They lost a patient here! Very UNPROFESSIONAL Dr. Also did not appreciate him belittling the patient or the students in front of the patient. He also never asked if it was ok to have 3 extra people in the room during the assessment.... does he know about COVID? There was absolutely NO SOCIAL DISTANCING IN THAT ROOM!! He also never bothered to return any of my three calls prior to the appointment! The Staff in the front was very nice though they do try to make excuses as to why the Dr didn't bother to return calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
