Cosmetic Dentist Russell D. Nishimura, DDS, Westlake Village CA, practices a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns and bridges. Dr. Nishimura can now correct a wide variety of so-called permanent cosmetic dental problems, and can literally redesign your smile.
He then completed three post-graduate programs at the UCLA School of Dentistry receiving certificates in Hospital Dentistry, in the specialty of Prosthodontics, and in the subspecialty of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.
Dr. Nishimura then became a full-time faculty member at the UCLA School of Dentistry. His past positions at the School include the Executive Vice-Chairman of the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, Biomaterials and Hospital Dentistry, Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetic and Implant Laboratory, Co-Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetic Program and Director of the Bone-Implant Interface Laboratory.

Russell Nishimura is a very highly accomplished Prosthodontist. His Qualifications & Experience are of the highest order. The standard of his work is "par -excellence". If you want the very best then look no further. He is a very kind, caring and gentle individual who is dedicated to his work and who clearly loves what he does. He has a passion for the finest in the industry and I am honored to be a patient of his. Having been honored as Professor Emeritus at the UCLA School of Dentistry for many years, his great skills & learned mind are in private practice in Westlake CA and I am delighted that he is there. There is no question, In that he is the very best that there is. I have been a patient for many years and I only speak from personal experience.

All office and professional staff are extremely competent and caring. They do their best to keep appointments on time. I have been seeing Dr. Nishimura for many years and have had my share of dental problems. All have been taken care of promptly. When he has to refer me to another specialist, it has always been someone on the same level as himself. My wife and I drive 45 minutes each way to his office.

What a thrill it was to find Dr. Nishimura (right here in Westlake Village) He is the type of professional you would expect to find only in the Beverly Hills area. In addition to being the very best at all that he does, He and his Office Staff are kind and feel just like very good friends.

I saw Dr. Nishimura to get his opinion on whether I am a good candidate for a full mouth restoration. From the first moment of my visit, I was impressed with Dr. Nishimura's friendliness. He patiently interviewed me and after a careful exam answered all my questions. He recommended a much more conservative approach than an other office had offered and explained the pros and cons. The whole process took one hour and was painless. At the end, I felt that I had clarity of what the best approach to my situation is. Thank you, Dr. Nishimura!

I have been going to Dr.Russell D Nishimura Inc. for several years now. It all started with a very professional evaluation of my situation by Dr. Nishimura. I decided to go with the proposed plan and had many implants crowned over time. I am very impressed with the knowledge Dr. Nishimura brings to the job, as well as the quality of workmanship and materials he puts into the final product, my new teeth. I am also visiting their Dental Hygienist on a regular basis, who is also doing an excellent job. The rest of the staff, including the front desk personnel are also always friendly and professional. I am happy that my original dentist referred me to the office of Dr. Nishimura

As a retired nurse & a bearer of several rather serious chronic health conditions, I know how rare & difficult finding a doctor who is superb in what they are doing as well as treats every patient with such respect & dignity as though each one is the most important patient to them. Dr. Nishimura possesses both qualities. 7 years ago, Dr. Nishimura restored my very complicated & challenging dental condition (after several other doctors tried but only made my condition worse & more complicated). I never thought such an amazing restoration was even possible. Through the process, Dr. Nishimura earned my utmost respect & deep trust. Earlier this year, when I was diagnosed with a condition requiring prosthodontic intervention for a rather large section of my mouth, I became alarmed & very anxious. But at the moment I thought of Dr. Nishimura's name, my troubled heart & mind quickly became calmed & relaxed. To me, Dr. Nishimura's name meant getting the best possible outcome with certainty. I have been going to Dr. Nishimura for over 12 years. He placed all of my new teeth on my implants, both top and bottom. He is a very knowledgeable and nice person. The staff members are exceptional!
