The Ruopp Clinical team is unique in that they are the only dental group in the area to have a husband and wife practicing together. They are also blessed to have many talented and loyal staff members. Together the team has over 200 years of combined dental experience.
Dr. Jan is a graduate of Cape Central High School and is a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau. With both children now graduatedfrom dental school, she has more time to indulge in her passion of community service.
She remains active in Zonta Club locally and internationally. The organization promotes empowering woman on personal and academic endeavors. She has been fortunate to use her dental skills to lead a permanent outreach clinic in Haiti and travels there at least once a year to provide much needed dental treatment while also continuing dental care charities in the US...She just completed her seventh dental mission!
He is pleased to see both his children follow in his footsteps, bothgraduatingfromdental school in May 2018. Brenton Ruopp attendedhis parents' alma mater, UMKC School of Dentistry while his younger sister, Alyssa Ruopp, forged into new territory at the fledgling A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. It has always been Dr. Pat's hope to practice with his children, a hope that became a reality as Dr. Alyssa joinedthe practice in July!
Dawn has been a part of our team since August 1989! She is a certified EFDA which means she is trained and capable of performing a number of advanced procedures. Dawn is Dr. Jans right hand at the office and you will often find her smiling face by Dr. Jans side.
Sherry lives in Oran with her husband Kevin. They have two children and one very special grandson! In her free time, Sherry enjoys spending time at the lake with family, boating, going to the beach, or anything that allows her to spend time outdoors!
Adrian is a multi-talented dental assistant and works with all of the doctors on any given day. She holds both CDA and EFDA certifications which allows her to perform many advanced procedures in our office.
Amanda has been with Ruopp Family Dentistry since January 2005. She has certifications as a CDA and EFDA. Due to Amandas qualifications and experience, you may find her taking on a variety of tasks around the office. However, clinical assistant is her favorite and she loves doing what she does best, providing excellent and personalized patient care!
Amanda lives in Whitewater, MO with her husband Lance and her son Waylon. In her free time, Amanda enjoys running, spending time at the farm, and anything that allows her to be outdoors; however, some of her outdoor activities have been put on hold as she is expecting her second child in June
Katara lives in East Prairie, MO with her daughter Lylah. They like to spend most of their down time laughing with friends and family. She also has a passion for painting, decorating, and making crafts.
Brittnay was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR but now lives in Cape Girardeau with her husband Cameron, their daughter Morganly, and their dog Ammo. Outside of the office, Brittnay enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting, and wreath making.
Jenna is another member of our hygiene team. She received her Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences from SIU Carbondale in 2016. She holds her RDH certification and has made a great addition to our hygiene staff. Jenna brings a bright energy to our office which translates to her care for her patients.
Donna joined our practice as our Patient Coordinator in January 1979 and has been a welcoming face in our office ever since. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and is experienced in all aspects of the office. She feels a genuine connection with our patients and always greets everyone with a warm smile as a member of our front desk team.
She lives in Cape Girardeau with her husband, Mike. They have two children and four grandchildren that they love spending time with! When they are not taking in one of their grandchildrens activities, Donna and Mike enjoy playing golf.
Leslie is our Financial Coordinator and you will find her as a smiling face at our front desk. She is well versed and experienced in all aspects of our financial department and is always available to answer any questions you may have on your patient account.
Leslie is originally from Cape Girardeau but currently lives in Benton, MO with her fianc, Fred. Leslie has four children, including three teenagers! In her free time, Leslie enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and enjoying time in the country.
Janice lives in Cape Girardeau with her husband Jim. They have two sons, Cory and Zachary, two beautiful daughter-in-laws, and three perfect grandchildren. Outside of the office, Janice enjoys reading, travel, concerts, and anything that allows her to spend extra time with her grandchildren.

You never hear people raving about going to the dentist but staff here have eliminated any dread of going to the dentist I've ever had. The staff is friendly, compassionate and made sure I was educated on what they were doing, what I needed to do for maintenance and answered all my questions. Dr. Pat, Dr. Jan and Dr. Baker are wonderful at what they do. I'll never need to look for another dentist again.

I am not from Cape and here temporarily. I wanted to set up a simple exam, clean and polish. I got X-Rays at my normal dentist about 7 months ago. I have great teeth and no issues or cavities. They been like that for 40 years because I take care of myself. Nothing has changed since my last apt. When I went in to make an apt yesterday, the woman at the desk who was not friendly at all tried pushing hundreds of dollars of services on me and told me I could not get my teeth cleaned unless I abide. So I casually said thank you and said I would go elsewhere. I did and got an apt at another dentist. The other office told me that was nonsense and that I could opt out of X-Rays even being a new patient. I guess I should have told her she needed a gym being she was extremely overweight. But... Honesty gets you in trouble these days.

. My granddaughter fell and hit her mouth on a table causing her top front 4 teeth to be pushed up all the way up into her gums. She had not been to the Ruopps before, my daughter had not either. But when I called the Ruopps and told them what had happened, they said bring her right in. We rushed her in, they took her in before other patients. They were all so nice, calmed her fears and xrayed her mouth. They assured us she would be fine, they called an oral surgeon who also took her right in to check her out, they said the same thing, she would be fine. And she was fine, her teeth grew out normally, and her adult teeth were not damaged. I have been seeing the Ruopps for 12 years, we are so thankful for Ruopp Family Dentistry.

They staff truely enjoy the jobs and it shows in how they treat their patients. They care enough to do a great job as well as get to know you as a person. It's definitely a family ran business who as well care about their staff.

I went in for a gummy smile. Also left with a gummy smile. They recommended 14 trays of invisalign. First set I told them they didn't fit, didn't believe me. Started my 3rd tray and had to go back to the office again. Since the trays were flapping they finally believed me and had to wait 6 weeks for a whole new set and start over. (Fast forward) I finished my treatment and my gums have not changed in the least. I asked what they offer as far as refunds because now I'm forced to seek more treatment. Dr. Jan said "we don't your teeth are straighter" Yes that is slightly true but that wasn't the issue you told me you were capable of fixing. Giving a super low rating bc they just want your money, they don't care about anything else. I should have been told in the beginning that they were unable to fix my concern and saved lots of time and money. Now im back to square 1. I feel completely ripped off. Where is the honesty!?

I have been a patient here since moving to Cape in 93. Dr. Jan and Dr. Pat have been amazing. The staff is always friendly and professional. I have never liked the dentist but they are so wonderful. They are now the dentists for my whole family.

This is the best place for dental work. Everyone is very polite, courteous and friendly. Well organized and short wait times. But most importantly, the dentists are very experienced and well trained to take care of any dental problem you might have and do it right the first time! I would never go anywhere else.

My wife and I both served in the military in the dental career field for 20+ years. After retiring we needed to find private dental care, Ruopp Family Dentistry have been a perfect fit for our family. Their customer service is the best I've ever experienced, everyone from the person checking us in to the dentist, including the hygienist and assistants always call you by your first name, they are always friendly and timely. I couldn't be happier and would recommend this practice to all my friends and family.
