Had 2 teeth pulled. They did an awesome job. They made me feel comfortable and I felt like they were all extremely professional and skilled. I haven't had to take any of the pain medicine I was prescribed. I priced a few places in town and this was the best price for out of pocket and the place my dentist recommended. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Phil and Kinsey were very professional. They explained the procedure as well as the aftercare thoroughly. They also did not judge the EXTREME anxiety I had about my wisdom tooth extraction. It was very fast and virtually painless, which i thought was impossible. I would highly recommend Ruckman to anyone. And Kinsey? I hope you see this review.... you're a Rockstar!! Thank you for your patience.

Dr. Meyer and Mandy were excellent. I would highly recommend them! I was nervous about a tooth extraction, but they were both so kind and considerate.

I needed six teeth removed, three were wisdom teeth and one of those was an impacted wisdom tooth with the possibility of nerve damage after removal. Dr.Ruckman explained the entire procedure in detail and answered all questions I had. He did a great job with the procedure. I was in a lot of pain afterwards and also had paranoia during the healing process, but Dr.Ruckman and staff were so kind and understanding about it and would see me every time I called about something not feeling right or the pain. I probably went in there about 4-5 times after the surgery but they never dismissed my concerns and always did a thorough follow up. I would always go here again if I were to need something in the future. Thank You Dr.Ruckman and the amazing staff there!

Dr. Ruckman and his staff are fantastic. More than once I had a dental emergency and Dr. Ruckman fit me in to help deal with the pain. I don't want to have to go to anyone else. Thank you and your staff Dr. Ruckman!

Wow. Phil is very professional and skilled. His team of assistants were on point providing the right touch of humanity to the situation, finding the best solution for my budget and easing my anxiety. I actually said "I'm here for the most painful day of my life" now I know all the days prior to this visit had actually been some of the worst. Extracting several broken and impacted wisdom teeth was nearly painless and it took less than 20 minutes. All in all, it was worth it to travel to the best, Ruckman and his staff, to rejuvinate my oral health. And he has done an incredible job. Thanks guys! -jake

I was very impressed with Ruckman Oral Surgery. My first impression walking through the doors was that it's a very well kept and clean facility. The front office staff was friendly, and so were all the other staff we encountered. Dr. Ruckman took the time to explain the procedure and made sure we understood the risks involved. Great bedside manners, and I could tell that he made my teenager feel very comfortable and at ease. He also met with us after the procedure to go over post procedure instructions/expectations, as well as the nurse. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone looking for an outstanding oral surgeon!

Over the course of approx. 14 months, I had so much below the gum and in the mandible work done that I should buy stock in Ruckman Oral Surgery if Dr. Phil ever does an IPO. Having said that, each time was caring, concerned; I was asked lots of questions, the equipment they use is STATE of the ART (especially the X-Rays...wow) and each of approx 4 or 5 visits and the accompanying procedures was far more than satisfactory. Having had 4 implants, a bone graft put in, I'd say I had pain one time and Dr. Phil quickly noticed and remedied that pain. I had many locals and went sedation for the implant drilling. Through the entire procedure with he (and Dr. Scheele across the street) I also broke an older root canal of a canine. They scheduled me asap and hit the floor running. Today I have the best smile I believe I could have and couldn't be happier. I would recommend Dr. Ruckman III to anyone who is considering dental implants or any kind of necessary oral surgery. Yes he did a bone graft from sinus area bone and added it to my jaw so the depth was available for the implant. Wonderful staff, great sense of humor at this place and very professional. Can't go wrong by going here.

Someone, please enlighten me. Why is it that, oral surgeons (and I'm sure many, if not all, other MDs) are legally able to set a certain number limit on the amount of people they will accept on insurances such as Hoosier Healthwise (HHW)? For instance, if you have HHW, you cannot get into Midwest oral surgeons until January, OSMA until November (to which you cannot schedule until September), or Ruckman until whenever they decide they're accepting patients with that insurance again. (But if you have a different insurance, or no insurance at all, they'll schedule you right on in!) *Here's the kicker* You can't even pay out of pocket (to end your poor child's misery) and not use insurance because that's then considered insurance fraud on their end. *Even more of a kicker* It doesn't matter if your child is in terrible pain due to having two dead teeth.

Very nice staff. My daughter who is 8 was VERY nervous for her paralegal surgery. They were wonderful toward her. Asked her about Christmas and school and distracted her completely. It helped so much. Very good place to take a child! I would recommend them to anyone.

I had my tooth extracted, I was nervous about it all. Mandy, the Surgery Assistant, was great, reassuring, made me feel comfortable the second that I sat down in the chair. Everything was smooth, quick, and painless. Dr. Ruckman was also kind and caring. Both of them talked me through and explained and answered my questions. They even called me the next day and asked how I was doing and if I had any further questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Great place!!!
