One of the worst experiences of my life. I left the office crying hysterically. This man has mental health issues. He did not numb my tooth properly and half way through the procedure had a panic attack and started pacing around the office and knocked over a tray of tools. He told me he could not get the tooth out and I was definitely going to get a dry socket. He cut my lip in several places and was pressing so hard on my face I got a black eye. Do Not Go To This Man!

Worst experience of my LIFE! Novocain had zero effect for my excruciating pain. I was tortured by Ruckert nothing less could describe the extraction of my front tooth. I am 68 years old. I was treated very well by his staff but Ruckert could care less regarding the degree of pain. He hurt me which caused me to scream!!! I curled up in pain when I could think again Ruckert was looking at me as if I did something wrong. Without hesitation he again proceeded to YANK the tooth while I CRIED in pain. I paid to be tortured. They stuck gauze in my mouth and sent me on my way. No follow up call. Wow worst oral surgeon ever. I suggest you refund me for your torture session. Of course I am filing a complaint with the Dental Association. No one should ever have to be subjected to that level of pain when clearly Ruckert could have administered and alternative to the method he used. Pure Pain.

I was referred to dental surgeon Dr. Eric Ruckert for a lower wisdom tooth extraction. My first visit was not pleasant. I was told my dentist sent the wrong xray and i would need a new xray. No attempts were made to contact my dentist to rectify the mistake. When the surgeon applied the novocaine it was very painful. He didnt seem concerned about my pain level. Before the extraction the assistant and surgeon seemed to whisper something above my head which I thought was unprofessional. I also did not see either one of them wash their hands before my proceedure. The simple extraction took 5 to 10 minutes. And I was sent home with a booklet with instructions, syringe, surgeon's home phone number and a copy of the $800.00 bill including the $100.00 xray fee. I had to call the surgeon at home 3 days later due to dry socket and severe pain on a Sunday. We arranged a time that day to pack the sockets with a gauze pain treatment. The surgeon had me meet him at a different location from the original location we had originally met. I arrived 10 minutes late due to getting lost. The surgeon was standing in the driveway and he stated that he could tell i didnt "follow his driving instructions." Outside he says..."Hurry up....I am going to be late for a christmas party." It is now 5 days after christmas. So we go inside and he applies the treatment and it was painful. He was not very gentle. I was so fuming mad. I left in a hurry. Dr. Eric Ruckert's behavior was completely unprofessional and inexcusable. I do not trust him. I would not recommend him whatsoever.

If you read only one review of Dr. Eric Ruckert, please read this one. I am a big baby and was dreading my visit, so as I write this review I am still in awe of how 100% painless, professional, and exact my visit was. Incredible Surgeon, professional in every way, with an engaging personality that really calmed me and took me through what I was expecting to be hell. 5 stars absolutely!

I had my two top wisdom teeth pulled. He did a great job and it was no big deal. I was expecting a lot of pain, but my pain including healing was about a 3 out of a 10. I used aspirin to quickly reduce that to almost nothing. He removed one of the teeth so quickly I did not realized he had already removed it. He has a lot of experience as an oral surgeon and is a specialist so he is quickly able to deal with any complications. I think a lot of less skilled general practice dentists are pulling teeth now and that is where I am hearing these painful hour long procedures. My only regret is I did not do see him sooner and get it over with. To the other reviewer, it is a very bad idea to touch a surgeon when he is working or to be moving around. -Adam Prince

This is by far is the WORST dentist I've ever been to. Not o nly did I wait an hour and forty five minutes for my appt, Dr. Ruckert was rude, impatient, rough and in a big hurry to RIP my tooth out and that is exactly what he did, no reason to be so rough. He started the appt with his speech and didn't want to hear let alone answer any of my questions. He was more interested in telling me how fast he could pull my tooth, really?? After one shot of novacaine he started digging and I just abt came out of the chair because it hurt so bad, which in turn I accidently bumped his elbow, he was so mad his face turned red and he yelled at me and said DON'T EVER TOUCH ME!, YOUR LUCKY I DIDN'T PUT IN YOUR EYE!. He was truly pissed because I bumped him and needed more novacaine! Thats when he became rough as he administered more novacaine he shoved that needle so far into my jaw I cried. When he finished he said NOW GO HOME AND HAVE A BEER. I have never received such awful care in my life, this was the worst dental experience ever! Dr. Ruckert should not be in business, it's obvious he is all abt the money as he was working on two patients at a time, he doesnt even deserve one star. Just a HORRIBLE man.
