Damon Braces facilitates healthy tooth movement with impressive control. It combines tie-less brackets and high-tech arch wires, minimizing discomfort to help create a lifetime of confident smiles. Damon usage has been proven to result in fewer adjustments, less discomfort, and a treatment time 6 months faster than standard braces. Overall, results have been proven 20% more effective than non-Damon cases.
Traditional braces use elastic ties that bind wires in place, similar to a bungee cord. This design createshigher pressure and friction, which results in less efficient tooth movementand createsan uncomfortable tightening feeling.
Damonbraces, unlike traditional braces, dont require elastic ties to hold the wire in place. Instead, wires are held in placeby a sliding door that is built-in to the Damonbracket. Not only do elastic ties slow down tooth movement, they also have a tendency to collect plaque. Invisalign uses a series of clear, specially designed aligners to straighten your teeth. Unlike braces, the aligners can be removed to eat, brush, and floss. Invisalign is particularly effective in correcting minor orthodontic irregularities and orthodontic relapse from not wearing retainers. For effective tooth movement the aligners must be worn 23 hours each day.

We came in a few weeks ago for a consultation for my daughter and from the moment we stepped in to Rucker Orthodontics to when we left we knew Dr Rucker and his team were the place for us. Super friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere. My daughter just got her braces on and we just loved Rosie! And Dr Rucker is the best! Nobody likes getting braces. But if you find yourself in need of an orthodontist, then you are well advised to schedule an appointment with the folks at Rucker Orthodontics in Temecula. They are a top-notch outfit from top to bottom. I just completed a successful two-year treatment program to correct an overbite. I have to admit that I am not always an easy patient. Add to that the fact that I was not enthused about the whole idea of getting braces and you end up with a grumpy-adjacent middle-aged man with a mouth full of metal. BUT the patience and professionalism of the entire staff turned me into a believer. However, it was my excellent customer service experience that got me to typing a review. Without going too deeply into the details, my insurance company rejected my claim 20 months after we began the process. I was presented with a substantial surprise bill in addition to having an unwanted mouth full of metal. Bah humbug. Long story short, owner Dr Jon Rucker made the most patient-favorable decision that he could have made. There was no negotiating or begging. He just simply did the right thing at a cost of several thousand dollars to himself and no additional charge to me. I thought that showed true character and a focus on taking care of patients. I like that a lot. But, wait. There's more. I am really into esthetics and interior design. Dr Rucker and his team put a lot of time and effort into creating a warm and vibrant space. And his Spotify playlist is on point! Somehow, I didn't mind the time I spent in the waiting room or in the chair. I still don't like braces. But if you have to have them, then Dr Rucker is the guy you need to see.
