Dr. Ruby and Dr. Carlos are trained across several dental health specialties, including implantology and cosmetics. We are determined to bring our patients the highest standard of comprehensive dental care, powered by some of the most advanced technology in the field. One of our core values is education, and we strive to hone our craft by expanding our knowledge. That is why our doctors always stay up to date in the latest developments in dentistry through continuing education courses, dental study clubs, and are active members in professional organizations.
We also strive to provide dental care safely, particularly during the COVID pandemic. While we have always followed stringent infection control protocols, we have enacted several safety measures to continue to socially distance. From new air filtration units to pre-procedural rinses, we are trying to keep our patients as safe as possible to ensure their health does not deteriorate during this time.
Dr. Carlos grew up in the beautiful state of Hawaii before attending Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Soon after his graduation, he moved to Minnesota, where he began practicing dentistry in a dental practice based out of Maple Grove. Dr. Carlos is dedicated to enhancing the lives of his patients by improving their oral health and beautifying smiles with cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Carlos spends time volunteering on mission trips and serving as an active member of the army national guard. What makes Dr. Carlos a wonderful person and an excellent clinician is how he values generosity, service, and commitment to patient health.

Not a pleasant experience with the Check-in person, she was very abrasive, I definitely feel I went through this due to my skin color. Fast forward Dr. Ruby reached out to me the day after this review. She apologized for the incident that occurred and promised to meet with staff about the do's and don'ts. As promised she checked with my insurance company and they confirmed I had coverage for the procedure I was scheduled to have. I was shocked to hear from her but appreciated the call. I decided to give the Office another chance to correct their errors. I was quite pleased with the difference between the 2 appointments. This time it went well and if I wasn't going to be out of town, I would go back there to have my dental procedures taken care of.

I recently moved to the area and scheduled a routine teeth cleaning. I selected Ruby Dental based on the 5 star reviews on Google. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months like clockwork because I have a permanent retainer which requires special attention. The hygienist applied unnecessary upward force to my permanent retainer which ripped off two bondings from the back of my teeth. I get my retainer cleaned every 6 months, and this is the first time I experienced this type of force being applied. Either all of the cleanings I've had the last 16 years were done improperly, or the hygienist here did something wrong. Dr. Carlos came in to look at the damage, told me permanent retainers have a particular shelf life, that this would have happened eventually anyway, and that he didn't have the skillset to fix it so I would need to see an orthodontist. He provided a referral, who didn't have availability for 2 weeks. When I let Dr. Carlos know the partially dislodged retainer was causing discomfort, he suggested I "chew with my back teeth,"until I am able to get the retainer repaired. I don't have confidence in Dr. Carlos and don't appreciate that he did not take responsibility for what occurred. I won't be back.

Dr Ruby is the lowest dental doctor I've ever went to, her office is cold, the atmosphere reminds me of a hospital with the huge rust wearing smocks. They are way overboard on worrying about covid. She is only concerned about the mighty dollar and suggests procedures that aren't necessary just to get money out of her patients. My whole family moved away from her practice and are sooo much happier .she has no bed side manner what so ever.

I had my first appointment at Ruby Dental today. Saw Dr. Carlos and Brigitt for my cleaning. It was a very good experience, especially since it has been 5 years since my last dental appointment. Professional, prompt, courteous. I will be back.

The staff are very helpful and professional. The clinical staff have a great bedside manner and are up front about diagnoses and plans of care. The front desk staff were able to schedule me quickly and provide me with insurance information up front.

This place has been great! My wife and I have been going to Ruby Dental for about 2 years and every appointment has been superb. Everyone that works there is super nice and very helpful! The location is very convenient too.

Love ruby dental! Amazing service, very nice people. They do a thorough job and make sure you don't have any signs or serious oral disease. I've been going to Ruby Dental since they opened and I wouldn't pick another place to go!
