Dr. Rubinstein was raised in Pearl River, New York and graduated from Nanuet High School. He attended college at The State University of New York at Binghamton, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982.
Dr. Rubinstein earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 1986. Here he received the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Outstanding Senior Dental Student Award. Following dental school, Dr. Rubinstein completed a year long General Practice Residency at The Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1993 Dr. Rubinstein received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, which required him to pass rigorous examinations and to have completed over 500 hours of continuing education credits. As an active member of the Ninth District Dental Society and the Northern Westchester Study Group, Dr. Rubinstein remains informed of current techniques by attending numerous continuing education courses.
Dr. Rubinstein was honored in 2016 by the Ninth District Dental Society for 2000 hours of continuing dental education achievement representing dedication to the profession and patient care. Dr. Rubinstein hasattained certification and proficiency in use of three different types of lasers; the diode laser, the carbon dioxide laser, and the erbium:yag laser. He is an active member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and remains committed to improving patient care through both technology and education.
Dr. Rubinstein was voted by his professional peers in 2009 through 2020 to be one of Westchester County's top dentists. This honor waspublished in Westchester Magazine, andis based on years of experience, continuing education, manner with patients, use of new techniques and technologies, and physical results.

I've been going to Dr. Rubinstein's office for several years, and the level of care is always consistent and fantastic. I usually see Robin for my general cleaning - she is gentle yet fast, and always friendly and informative. Dr. Rubinstein always visits at the end of my appointment to give a thorough assessment of general dental health. He always explains what he is doing and what to expect, which I really appreciate. Overall, this is a wonderful group that I would (and have) recommended to everyone I know!

I have been meaning to write a review for Dr. Jeffrey Rubinstein's (DDS) dental practice in Bedford ,New York because I have never forward reviews in the past. This patient review is the exception. Our family has been visiting " Dr. Jeff " for many years. We live in Brookfield , CT and the trip is worth knowing the care received at our visit will be honest and fare . Dr. Jeff along with his fabulous staff are without doubt the best family dental practice in the area. You sense that everyone on staff truly cares about only you. The professional atmosphere is simply excellent. FYI, they stream the best music.

Jeff is amazing! I'm a screamer--and that's before anyone even gets near my mouth! He and his dental hygienist Robin have the best chairside manner imaginable, and over the twenty or so years I've been going there we've built a great relationship. And oh, my chompers look (and feel) awesome!

I used to dread going to the dentist; and would do anything within my power to avoid it. Since becoming a patient of Dr. Rubinstein, that is no longer true. Not only is he is an excellent dentist with an absolutely amazing staff; he is also a kind and compassionate person. Those are just a few of the reasons that I can...and I do...highly recommend Dr. Rubinstein to anyone looking for top-notch dental care.

Dr. Rubenstein is an outstanding dentist. He's highly skilled, knowledgable, compassionate, avoids unnecessary procedures & performs needed procedures with great expertise. My previous dentist left his practice & I saw his partner who told me I needed a complicated & costly procedure. I got a 2nd opinion elsewhere & was told I needed completely different complicated & costly work. Then I went to Dr Rubenstein, who'd treated my parents for years. He saved me thousands of dollars & months of painful work - none of what I'd been told I needed was necessary! He found a cavity the other 2 dentists had missed, & treated it painlessly. I have to travel quite a distance to get to his office, but it's absolutely worth it. I finally have a dentist I trust completely to do the right work in a professional manner at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend him.

I've been going to Dr. Rubinstein for over 20 years. I've never had a bad experience. When anything major occurs, he provides several options in order that the patient may make an informed choice based on financial or other considerations. He and his staff are extremely courteous and efficient. If you ever have an emergency, he makes room in the schedule for you. I can't say enough good things about him.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Rubinstein for more than 20 years. We have always been very satisfied with his work and that of his long-time hygienist, Robin Grasso. I have undergone several different procedures and they have always been successful. He will refer you to a specialist when warranted. He takes the time to listen to your questions and patiently provides thoughtful responses. He keeps up with changing technologies and informs me of the various options available. In the case of a dental emergency, he makes himself available on short notice. I recommend him without reservations.

I was referred to Dr. Rubinstein when I moved from Connecticut to Westchester. My previous dentist was a nice person but a very bad dentist. From my first visit with Dr. Rubinstein, I knew I had found the caring, professional dentist I was looking for. He carefully explains every procedure and available options for treatment. I have had many issues with my teeth in the past but whatever needs to be done in the future, I am confident that Dr. Rubinstein will help me make the best decisions for my dental health. In addition, everyone in his office is friendly and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who wants the best dentist to care for their teeth.

I have been treated by Dr. Jeffrey Rubinstein for the last several years. He has the most pleasant demeanor I have ever seen in a dentist Dr. Rubinstein's decisions and recommendations for my dental health are very wise, tailored to me and my mouth. Beginning with painless injections, tooth repair, and cutting teeth for crowns that have been a perfect fit to my teeth and bite. I have complete faith in his procedures.
