Dr. Ruben D. Cuellar earned his dental degree in Bolivia at Universidad Mayor de San Simon Cochabamba as well as completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Howard University. He is a member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society .
Dr. Cuellar considers himself very fortunate for the opportunity to have studied and completed his degree in the United States. He has fulfilled his dream of becoming a practicing dentist serving the community in Virginia. To show his appreciation Dr. Cuellar provides free services to community programs such as (MOM) Mission Of Mercy and mission trips in Bolivia to provide dental care to children in rural villages who do not have access to even basic dental services.

It was a very pleasant experience with Dr. Cuellar and his Staff. He took the time to explain how to improve my daughters smile and provided advice how to keep the confidence. My daughter was very anxious for her first appointment and procedure. In conclusion, six appointments later, I can only reminisce how Dr. Cuellar and his Staff was very patient with her and spent time to relax her by a smiling face, asking about her day, and relating to her she's a living and breathing human; meanwhile, handing her a remote while reclining in the dental chair to watch her favorite movies or shows. "This is the best dental office I have been around in a long time. The staff is very friendly from the front desk, to the nurses, and the doctor, coming here is like dealing with trusted family. I travel all the way from Clinton, MD...NOW THAT really tells the story! Relaxed Dentistry, Dr. Cuellar, and the entire office staff are so special to me. When I walked in for my first appointment last year my teeth were horrific. Dr.C could have said we have to just pull them all, like I had been told from two other dentists I consulted before him, but he was determined from the start to keep that from happening. His work is exceptional!! my teeth are functional now, but they are also gorgeous . I love brushing and flossing and getting to admire my beautiful smile and I will forever be grateful. I can't wait to show everyone at my next visit that my gums aren't bleeding anymore and hopefully make them proud <3 Thank you forever and always Relaxed Dentistry!

Hands down, ONE OF THE BEST DENTISTS IN THE AREA!! I've always had the worst experiences when it comes to dental work because I get very nervous BUT coming to Dr. Cuellar was one of the BEST decisions ever! I don't usually write reviews and I don't like going to the dentist, they scare me. Found relaxed dentistry online and Was thinking to myself I will give it a try. Thank god I did! They made me so comfortable and relax in every visit, Dr. Cuellar and the staffs are so nice. I like that Dr. C give you a few options depending on your budget. He is not pushy in to getting you to pick the expensive route not like the other dentist does. It's a small practice and I like that. I must say, I have found my permanent dentist!
